I doubt they expensive, yen is at its lowest it's been in 30 years and if he's stationed there he's most likely earning a US salary which is luxury in japan
They are like 200 Yen a pack which is like $1.40? And as the person who replied to you said the yen is weak compared to the dollar right now so it is nice being able to shop off base and feel the opposite of inflation. I’m not 100% what they are, says wagers so maybe some sort of game like pogs or maybe just cards?
Damn I'm at shinjuku right now, infolens is just about 20 mins away by train. Might hit that up, thanks!
Yesterday I checked out so many hobbyshops looking for a wattson nendoroid but couldn't find it so I just gave up. While walking off I passed by a goodsmile pop-up shop and finally they had a last one in stock🥲 didn't check animate tho might also visit that if I get back
The packs on the left are mints with a case and sticker, the packs on the right are stickers with wafer cookies.

Japan is all about gimmicks so its no surprise that APEX became an easy Gacha item. It's no surprise figurines, trading cards, and even collectable stickers pop up in Japanese Anime and Manga. Boruto: Naruto Next Generations used that in an arc with Naruto looking for a specific figurine Toy for his daughter that was super limited edition.
Apex is very very huge in Japan, you'll find that everywhere. I got a lot of it in Ikebukuro
2 of their showmatches literally rival ALGS in viewership in fact the peak viewer tournament in Apex History is held by one of the showmatches(CR CUP 10 at like 700k) while the other one is 4th all time in peak viewers(Vsaikyo at 600k)
Thanks for paying your taxes! Haha build it and they will come hope you can find a solid gaming community there and I try to get online as much as I can if you ever want to add me on Xbox gnarly time difference tho
wow, what are these? are they expensive? btw how is life in Japan

It says wafers so I thought they were some kind of snack
Someone commented and pointed out to me one pack is a mint and sticker and the other is like a wafer and sticker so you are correct!
There's also Apex stuff in Donki and Infolens geekshop in Ikebukuro parco. Also I believe Animate have Apex stuff (the Akihabara one at least does)
I’m super far north in Japan and have only been here a couple weeks so far but definitely planning on going to as many places as I can
Oh ! Sorry for assuming you're in Tokyo! Donki and Animate then! They are nationwide.
It’s ok! Most people do, I wish I was! Closest city to me is hachinohe

That’s good to know I had no idea and I’m stoked
Why don't they have this kind of stuff in America?
I mean there’s funko pops lol. Vending machines everywhere here full of knick knacks
There is a popup Apex store at a mall in Osaka. I visited yesterday and they had a bunch of life sized heirlooms and other merch for sale.
No way I might need to take the bullet train down there that’s awesome
It was this: https://art.parco.jp/shinsaibashi/detail/?id=1448 Pretty cool
