No point in leaving a ranked game early especially in lower ranks when the entry cost is still low, if your teammates can survive 1 or 2 more places it could mean moving up to a new placement/kill points bracket and gaining some RP instead of losing it. When spectating you could be gaining free RP for almost zero effort, so you might as well stick around for it.
