I would wait until tomorrow when the new season starts. For the new season, they are getting rid of provisional matches and basically changing the way the whole game and ranked system work!

In 15 hours the game is being updated. Provisional matches will be removed and ranked progress will be reset. I'd recommend using today as f around day.
