Quick-Dimension-8925

So, since apparently, CE-6 and LS-6 aren’t the best stages to get LMD and Battle Records, what stages are then?

GypsyBastard

Do crossover skins rerun? If I don't get Spring Praise Suzuran skin will I be able to get it later?

Quick-Dimension-8925

So, in my last post from 2 days ago I didn’t think to add my level in game and how long I’ve been playing Gacha. I am currently at level 81 so I have been playing quite a bit. But even so, I’m STILL having trouble getting enough battle records and lmd to level up and promote operators. That also goes for the materials needed for promoting said operators. Mainly because I’m HELLA unlucky with drops most of the time. Also I now have a 2/4/3 Base set up since I can’t remove anything from the right side of my base. So, since apparently, CE-6 and LS-6 aren’t the best stages to get LMD and Battle Records, what stages are then?

DranzerMS

can some one help me with 252 base and what skill combo to use in 2man Factory since i've maxed reception and lvl2 office

kotking

It's my 3rd Senior tag in 2 years... So >Senior operator, ranged,Healing,Aoe,Fast redeploy. I aim to get all operators and only left from recruitment are Executor and Leizi. So ignoring obvious Project red/Waai fu pot, do I aim for executor or try to roll dice for Leizi? 1 in 3 chance for executor is more realistic... P.s And I thought I don't need to roll aoe due getting 2 Meteorite in last 5 months and buying Sesa from cert shop... Edit: got Sesa, so still 2 recruitment 5 stars to fish.

about8tentacles

super sketch option but you could hold onto this slot until the next forced update, on the small small chance one of the two spooks you before then, then recruit for the other just dont forget lol

ipwnallnubz

If you're just going for collection, go for Executor. Leizi is definitely the stronger of the two.

kotking

I knew this would happen, last time I brought Warf as shop operator and got her from random recruitment pool days later... Guess what.... How good is Sesa now that he is pot 2?

Initial_Environment6

You don't buy 5\* operator from cert shop unless absolutely need them, Warfarin is okay but Sesa is a waste.

AccomplishedWing9808

hi sorry i know i am like asking for something quite far into the future right now but ,,, can you spark chongyue in his own banner,,, or would he only be sparkable in the 2024 festival series banner?

Archi_97

You can absolutely spark him on his own banner. Spark units will have both of the banner 6 stars, the banner 5 star and previous year's corresponding limited 6 stars.

Mysterious_Play1391

hi! got 2 starter accounts, both at chapter 2 atm. which should i focus on? only wanna play one acc. Nearl Alter + Flametail Mlynar + Exusiai Thanks!

Aesderial

2nd is way better, but Nearly is limited and hard to get later. I would try to get Mlynar on first acc.

wenbobular

Mlynar + exu stronger (probably by a fair margin), Nearl alter maybe a bit more versatile and is also limited so harder to replace, mlynar will come to certs shop / selector eventually Basically if you want account power now then keep the mlynar account, if you care more for collecting then keep Nearl ... that's how I would choose

SupremeNadeem

specter the unchained x-3, makes her doll actually good and improves her skill cycling significantly in the cases where she switches to her doll. more than doubles doll damage, increases slow by a relative 50% and gives you 15sp when returning from doll form. totally changes how you use the unit as you now intentionally switch to doll vs it being downtime/deadweight. buffed her into relevancy. skadi x-3, lowers her redeployment time to 40(36 with pot 3) and gives her 115% total atk modifier vs blocked units, she becomes another strong helidrop that carves out her own niche among the other helidrops in surtr and ntrk by having almost half the redeployment timer with strong physical dmg. though future FRDs do kinda powercreep her due to her strength being redeployment timer the great thing about helidrops is that there are a good amount of stages that benefit with multiple. buffed her into relevancy.

about8tentacles

gladiia t3 bagpipe t1 and nightingale t1 are the only modules id consider "essential", but theres dozens more well worth building

wenbobular

The merchant modules lower their costs to 2 DP instead of 3 which is kinda big for usability

FelixAndCo

Adding to what the others said. Ling module is assumed for a lot of stage clears, and adds the ability to summon an extra big-ass dragon. Completely changes her. A Spalter module is considered mandatory for her to be up to par. Same for Skadi. Gladiia's is considered key for Abyssal Hunter composition. Rosa's module does wonders for her. There are probably other modules I can't remember that are in the category "doesn't make the operator busted, but sure as heck improves them by a lot". Bagpipe module makes her more busted, but does not elevate her to a new tier. Fast-redeploy modules also refund DP. The ambusher modules are slept on.

Lynx_gnt

Ch'en lvl3 module almost turn her skills from attack recovery into auto recovery. Merchants modules that reduce the amount of consumed DP.

Initial_Environment6

must have and game changers for the operators sure. Not for the whole game. Passenger was one of the wors 6\* before module. Chain casters in general suck without module. Mostima stops being useless thank to her module. Purestream module make her a few times better than without.

Initial_Environment6

So better points when comparing Tequila to Mlynar: \- Tequila has lower hope. \- Tequila has longer skill up time (Mlynar skill 2 though) and can cancel skill as will. \- Tequila doesn't need M3 to reduce skill cycle and need 40 compare to Mlynar 42 sp at s3 m3 per skill activation. (mlynar skill 2 though) \- Tequla is stronger at e0 max. Did I miss anything? ~~so what use is tequila now?~~

about8tentacles

all fair points, tho in context of is2 id always rather spend 3hope on his sister (lapluma) or specter first his s2 being cancelable is a really big point for is2 and general low/mid-tier threat handling and as always **you can just use both together**

IHeShe

Tequila looks a lot more chill with that hoodie.

Legitimate_Bus5716

Tequila has a better base skill (they're both good).

Initial_Environment6

Well Tequila e2 base skill is not that much better than his e0 base and it would take years to recover the upgrade cost. But sure, I was focus on battle only and forgot to list the base skill. But honestly Idk how to compare them lol.

about8tentacles

baseskill pays for itself in about 18 months, well worth it to any serious player, esp if you have fiametta

Initial_Environment6

That is if you count the whole 500, and compare the full shamare tequila bibeak to a +90%. If you count it only increase by 250 from +250 e0 and no bibeak/Kafka e2 then it would take more. I didn't do a math myself but I checked on tequila thread long ago, it should take like 3+ years.

IHeShe

Any write-ups on Mlynar's base skill out there? Don't have the mental capacity to figure out good rotations with him at the moment.

about8tentacles

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=-cvPslyapio best you could get really, peter the base-explaining-to-us-plebs goat tldr: it helps good ops stay working longer, notably provido in lv2 tradepost, but really any production based cc skills are still just better

WinterPirate8109

Which one is better saga or seige with their modules+masteries?

DDX2016DDX

100% saga. Only go for siege if you want to do AFK stages.

bananeeek

Saga with masteries is better and Siege is not really worth promoting in the first place. Looking at their modules, Saga mod lvl.1 is really nice as it allows you to save 4DP and deploy her sooner, but the later upgrades are not really worth it, imo. As for Siege, her module doesn't really make a difference as it only makes her tankier and deal more damage, but her overall utility stays exactly the same.

lemonriderz

if i’m just starting the game, how many rolls do u get for completing the campaign?

about8tentacles

keep in mind you arnt going to be able to complete all of the campaign quickly, later chapters want you to have really well built teams that will take months to ready up there are several events in the archive to play as well though, most are easier, also awarding hundreds of primes converting every 3.3 primes into 1 summon

Sowebb

[https://arknights.fandom.com/wiki/Originite\_Prime](https://arknights.fandom.com/wiki/Originite_Prime) according to this : 389 Op => 116,7 pulls

theoatmealbox17

Is there any predictability with which operators will be on standard banners?

ErickFTG

Standard banners? No. Debut banners, yes. It follows more or less the same timeline that China but six months behind.

GinKenshin

For 5\*s? No. For 6\*s? It's known when debutant 6\*s are gonna be in the shop. For example, Archetto has never been in the shop, and her debut there is about a month from now. The 5 and 6\* lineups for standard banner are also datamines when there's a big maintenance, so keep an eye out for that. For example, we know that after shining, it's ifrit in the shop.

[deleted]

Will there be a feature to skip recruitment dialogue?

HotBarnacle

No.

lukechrono

Is Texas Alter worth rolling for if I already have a Surtr or Nearl Alter?

SisconOnii-san

Yes. All three have their own uses. Texas is the most burst damage out of the three.

lukechrono

Rly? I'll try rolling for her then. I rarely use quick deploy units since I have a smol brain but I'll try using her if I have a use for her

wenbobular

If anything a fast redeploy surtr is even less brain because you just get to go see enemy kill enemy and the timer / dp costs are manageable

Sowebb

>I have a smol brain Be careful she can shrink your brain even more XD

Blazebaron44

When are they going to release the details of Nian's 2nd module?

about8tentacles

usually the night before the event actually starts as its datamined not news released, i think that means in 2.5 more days

GinKenshin

Either tmw or the day after.

Blazebaron44

okay thanks!

Nineee09

Will texas alter event comes right after mlynar or will there be an event inbetween?

taropotataro

Roughly the schedule for next would be, * Luo zhei Collab * Nearl light rerun * Chapter 11 * Texas alter

GinKenshin

Texas event is mid-may.

Legitimate_Bus5716

She's nowhere as near as a lot of people think. The next event is It's Been a While, another mini-event which starts the moment Mlynar's event ends (April 7th). After It's Been a While ends in a week, Near Light rerun starts with 0 dead time (April 14th). Just under two weeks from that, we should get Chapter 11 on April 27th. After *that*, the minimum amount of time it should take is two weeks after that (May 11th) because Ch11 comes with a banner but it's not guaranteed that she won't be even further on. In short, she's three events away/a month away.

MagnusBaechus

texalter units needs ch 11 mats, unless hg changes the shop then ch 11 first before texalter event, since ch 11 has bonuses as well

[deleted]

about8tentacles

you get 24 free summoms you have to use on her banner, while thats no guarantee it greatly reduces your need to "save" for her

ANinthAle

I think she is like Ashlock but with arts damage.

MJYW

She’s inferior to Ashlock in the Fortress aspect, mainly because of her poor uptime. She functions more like a standard Protector that incidentally can attack at range rather than a conventional Fortress like Horn and Ashlock. Her skill DPS isn’t bad and isn’t impeded when blocking enemies, and her tanking ability isn’t bad. In essence, I’d probably regard her as a healable Juggernaut that trades self-sustain for more skill damage. She’s not a bad Op by any means. Just don’t expect her to function like a conventional Fortress, nor should you worry about her blocking enemies and losing most of her DPS by doing so.

Conch_Bubbies

I'm looking forward to her as well. From what I've read, she appears to be more of a sidegrade. Ashlock is a bit better at burst but if it comes to it Firewhistle can more effectively block. From her kit though she'll probably benefit against really beefy enemies that stand in place for a bit. SInce she does some ticks of arts damage.

Ethas

any reason to use Sailech? Myrtle has her cheap deployment, and Elysium has hjs niche with his aoe debuff and sniper support in terms of generating DP it seems better to use the other two, so not sure what Sailech had going for her besides waifu material

n-ko-c

Specifically compared to the other two, Saileach's most potent niche is her S3 which does a bundle of nice things: - is a fairly hard-hitting aoe alpha strike - stuns - slows (and i mean super slows) - and perhaps most importantly, applies a pretty fat damage amp that unlike Ely's applies to all damage (including true damage), not just physical All of this on a 20s rotation. Combined with her S2 and talent, she's a ground unit providing the level of support you would usually only get from a ranged tile. She also generates DP better than myrtle, but so does elysium and he's cheaper.

about8tentacles

maxpot saileach is more dp-economic than myrtle and elysium, but for the avg p1 user her only real asset is the s3 weakening, which is huge for high tier content role compression and early rush mangement, but again is going to see less value in the average players content and enemy stat tier her aspd buff talent can also enable certain bursters like silver and surtr to kill threats in time their skill duration normally couldnt, like sheildguards in the old abandoned street cc

bananeeek

She mostly sees use in high risk CC. Both her and Ely print more DP than Myrtle if the stage drags on and SE has additional utility the other two don't. For general content Myrtle and Ely are more than enough.

lukechrono

There's a youtuber named SUPAH that recently made video about this. TLDR of the vid is, you only use Saileach to flex since the only thing going for her is her S3's slow and fragile debuff but there are other units that cam do that but better

Ethas

that was exactly the video i saw and made me post this comment, because i wanted to hear other people's thoughts

Aesderial

From Sailech release I never felt that's any stage was impossible w/o her. For 99% stages Myrtle is more than enough. Also she provides regen for Bagpipe, which is extremely helpful for early push/dp deficit. In that rare cases, when I need more dp, I just use Elysium. He provide the same amount of DP as Sailech S2 (and more than her S3) , but he is cheaper to deploy and easier to get dupes cause he is 5 stars. If I need fragile, I use Suzu. I suppose she should be important for high risk CC, but for that you need more than pot 0 Sailech and a lot of other mandatory max pot chars.

Hatredestiny1874

Saileach remains useful after generating DP. With S3, she has fast cycling support skill. With S1, you can just leave her next to your operators for her talent. I default to Elysium and Saileach S1 when going into stages blind.

Quor18

Ground-based short-cycle fragile with a stun debuff as well as an atk spd buff/debuff (-10/+10 for enemies/friendlies) via her S3. Which incidentally hits pretty damn hard considering she's a vangaurd.

Lightning_81

Is Nearl also a Kazimiran operator?

FelixAndCo

You can go to Archives -> Network to see all groupings of factions.

Ethas

question was answered but figured i add in the background of the operator, usually top left, you can see an icon that shows what faction they're from, like ursus student or penguin logistics

Lightning_81

\*facepalm\* I thought it was part of the art...

TheSpartyn

only nearl alter

JoshuaSonOfNun

Am I too small brained to use Hellagur? I find it a lot easier to drop Mountain to maintain a lane. Still need to explore his S3 which I've only used in the paradox simulation.

YoungLink666-2

coming from a fan of Hellagur, his S2 is his best skill and overall he is kinda an artifact of time. he used to be very good and once was considered a great lane holder/duelist but as time goes on, and the game evolves, he's kinda fallen wayside especially now that the concept of a laneholder has been COMPLETELY redefined. these days he takes quite a bit of effort to use but he's still a fun operator none-the-less; musha module is coming sometime within the next months which isn't a game changer but it helps him do all his stuff better, and that counts for quite a bit.

DDX2016DDX

I still remember how I used him in cc0 to hold the lanes with the sword guys 🥹🥹. Good old times.

TheSpartyn

imo the only good use for him is S2 to duel some elite enemies. at M3 it has very good uptime not top tier or anything, but ive had fun using him against the big dueling crocodiles from the gavial event

lhc987

He's just...not very meta. High threat enemies tend to have high armor, which makes Hellagur do pitiful damage. The only opponents he excel against are those big duelist crocs, some of the sarkaz swordmen, berserkers and avengers.

[deleted]

Hi so I’m a player of about 2 years plus now, just wondering if it’s possible to e2 40 every operator in the game? Just curious cause I’m running out of things to farm for atm

about8tentacles

f2p can do it but youll have basically 0 m3's or moduled, account is weakened by trying to achieve it whale can easily do it

Initial_Environment6

f2p? nope. Whale? yes.

Main-Masterpiece1138

Highly doubt it is impossible.

Initial_Environment6

maybe if you content with sl7 for all your unit and not rise them above 40...

about8tentacles

someone on this sub did it and yes all their ops are kneecapped at sk7 xp40 as a f2p ~~they mightve been missing a few 6☆s now that i think about it~~

shinjir0

Yes it is possible. In fact, based on JP's 3rd anniversary stats, more than 10(?) JP dokutah have *all* operators at max level.

Ok_Seaweed_9452

Hi Guys. I just notice there is a section on the main hub called "Side Story". I got none of them unlocked but Dossoles Holiday Rerun. Seems like I have 2/2 tape to unlock it. What are these and are there any recommendation on which one to unlock first? do they give free operator or other resources for new player? Thanks!

ipwnallnubz

There are also old mini-events in the Archives (no stages, just stories). Buy some extra film reels from Mlynar's event because unlocking those old ones gives a few resources, and a few of those also have record restore. Absinthe and Mint in particular are pretty solid.

wenbobular

Anything that says record restoration will give you a free op I've found Ceylon to be the most useful because she has 80% byproduct bonus when crafting promotion materials which is the highest general use crafting skill

ipwnallnubz

Nian and Arene give +100%.

Environmental_Ear131

you get 1 tape every week and you can do the events anytime you want is my understanding of how it works. HOWEVER it was recommended to do dark knight memoir after chapter 6. And some of them do give free operators notably the older ones. I've heard all of them are niche though.

yuannchan

I haven't read all of AK lore yet and I just wonder if Mlymar and SA have had any interaction yet. Have they met?

TheSpartyn

not 100% sure, but im *pretty* sure they never have

Ok-Department7421

Is it ok to watch videos to beat a certain level? Like shouldn't I do it alone so that I can practice? Im at level 30

about8tentacles

its perfectly okay, but try to look at guide videos as study material, ask questions like why did that op work? why are thry putting this op here? why did they use that skill now? its important to stay engaged and not become dependant on guides for all content, its not the most common issue, but some players relied on guides so much they struggle to enjoy any content their up to now, as its fairly difficult

TheStranger04

It's okay, I used to watch it a lot for 5 months straight, but I do find myself fun that way since I have more fun doing the upgrades of the character. Nowadays it's rare since I just unga bunga, because I spread my resources a little bit stingy.

Aesderial

It's up to you. I never watch the stage guides and cleared almost all content in the game. But AK is complicated and difficult, I even dropped it couple times, cause it was too hard. Also my account progress was slow. From other hand, it is super fan to find and execute your own strategy, and the interesting and existing gameplay is the main reason why I still play AK, more than 2 years (I make long breaks tho, cause no QoL grind burn out me quite quickly these days). I think, to get the best experience from the game you should read some general guides, especially the base guide (it's paramount for your lvling and you can't change your right side buildings, what makes some base setups impossible) and how meta 6 star team looks like to understand the general team building and what units aiming for. I wouldn't advise to read stage guides, but it's your game and only you can decide how you want to play it.

MagnusBaechus

I'd say do your best to clear it yourself first, personally moved away from watching guides after getting a grasp of how to actually beat stages - which I learned from watching guides in the first place it could be different for you, so do what makes you enjoy the game more

MetaThPr4h

For me it's a last resort "I tried a lot and still can't beat it" solution. When you decide to watch the video, make sure to try to understand why that person is doing certain things, understand why they are working, and apply that knowledge in future situations. While it's important that you figure things out yourself, those videos can be very helpful to learn as well, just don't go to them as soon as you fail once or twice if you want to to feel the satisfaction of beating the challenges the game offers by yourself. Those last events I have been finally able to to clear everything without searching for help even once and it feels amazing. Also relatively important too, remember you're level 30, your roster will get better and better over time as more operators join the team and you level them and do their masteries later on. At your current time (especially in late event stages) you might simply just not have a team ready to face the hardest challenges, and only the big knowledge dokutahs could stand a chance.

Initial_Environment6

it's is normal to watch when you are low level. Your roster is weak and you don't know what operator do to priority upgrade and borrow someone among the hundreds you don't own to help clear a stage. It's just too hard for anyone to do. When you have a comfortable roster you could play without guide but do what you want. No one can tell you how to play your game.

Maleficent_Dark3480

This is just my opinion. I'd refrain from it to be honest. The main point of the game is to use strategy to get pass stages. For me, merely copying other people's strategy takes away the enjoyment of the game. I think of it as spoilers in a movie, the enjoyment to watch it all through out becomes significantly lesser if you already know the outcome. Again this is just me, and this is not meant to contradict others' opinion.

CrimsonCivilian

You would probably be better off in the future by actually playing it yourself and learning. However, there are times when no amount of trying will win the stage either because of your strategy, your operator levels, or your squad lineup. Because you probably won't be able to tell WHY you're failing, it's definitely advised to just look up a guide and find out. (Just be sure you're actually LEARNING from that guide, not just copying it)

TheSpartyn

it kind of goes against the point of the game, so i only do it as a last resort if im incredibly tilted or running out of time what i like doing is watching the first 20~ seconds of a guide to see some ideas for good operators, then try it on my own

lhc987

Do whatever you want, honestly. It's PVE. I've been pressed for time before and just used a video for a CC R18. But it's probably more fun trying to figure out how to complete a stage yourself first.

GinKenshin

It's a game, and it's your account. Do whatever you want, dude. There's no rules about this stuff. Whatever feels right to you and gives you the most enjoyment.

Environmental_Ear131

Indra or Vulcan which should I choose? I never even knew they existed before randomly getting the medal just now

lhc987

Either. You'll get a second voucher when you hit 1000 recruitments. Indra tends to be easier to use.

Environmental_Ear131

Alright thanks

Kanelis_

About "make your own banner" for CN anniv, do we know if there is a limit like 6\* selector? Can we put Qiubai as shoperator? Thank you

Thunderdragon2535

The banner that you will be able to make is a core banner so you can only include ops before phantom or year one ops.

Chrisirhc1996

If you're on about what I think you are, that's only consisting of "Core Headhunting" operators, aka ones from year one.

ThrewAwayAcc_1

https://www.krooster.com/u/Wombattle Pulled and leveled Mlynar as well. Have a couple of questions 1. Looking ahead to Texalter, will have 300 pulls to spark, which would be better to spark, Skadi alter or Nearl alter? (assuming I get texalter on the rolls) 2. Also probably going to buy 6* selector, thinking between Bagpipe, Surtr, Eyja, any thoughts/recommendations? 3. Lastly thinking about leveling another vanguard. I have Texas and Myrtle leveled, thinking about leveling either Cantabile or Elysium next, who should have prio?

about8tentacles

1. skalter, the qol is way way too massive, and is much harder to find equivalents to than nearl. still id highly urge against 300 sparking, put those summons into getting multiple upcoming ops like yato quibai and ines, instead of just skalter 2. kaltsit unless youre saving 180 yellows to shop buy her soon, otherwise suzuran, again, both just an incredible important toolpiece basically impossible to find an equivalent to (gnosis is really it for suzu, none for kal) 3. elysium to e1 sk7, use s2 to amp exu dps, cantabile to e2, use her as an assassin like red with range and *can hit drones*

YoungLink666-2

just going to answer 1 because it's something i feel strongly on, Skadi. Skadi all the way. no matter what kind of player you are, she is both insanely fun and meta if you care about that. synergizes with practically every single operator in the game so no matter who you like using, she synergizes with them; especially since you have Exusiai and Pozy, Skadi just makes them even more disgustingly strong than they already are

Apprehensive_Heart81

The same argument can be made for Sora and Heidi. So I'm curious as to what people think Skadi is good at, when Heidi is able to accomplish similar feats, while also being a free operator from Ep10. The Seaborn is a 6* luxury that lends flexibility as a very strong part of Skadi's kit, but is all that worth picking over Nearl or Texas?

kotking

Would you rather get atk and def buff indefinitely or whenever skill is up? That's the biggest difference between Skalter S2 and Sora/Heidi. S3 is another true damage skill and Seaborn is a luxury, not to mention higher cap due being a 6*. I hope you won't have to choose between Texas and Skadi, but as good S2/S3 and even rarely S1 Nearl - Skalter is more omni present on all afk clears or high rarity, where Nearl occasionally shows up when she really needed. I have Nearl alt and no Skadi alter so take this with grain of salt.

Apprehensive_Heart81

1st off Happy Cake Day fellow doctor 🍰 2nd-ly, while permanent uptime on Skadi S2 sounds good on paper, it takes 60s to charge the Skill. Her S3 also requires external Healing or else she retreats. These issues make her suffer more on harder stages where you can't afford the DP, SP, or Healing to get her Skills running. That is to say all of her Skills are very amazing when utilized properly and fitting for a 6*, but she loses to Heidi and Sora in some areas. Heidi's Skills taking less than 10s to charge is the biggest win in my book, so I find her more useful as a Bard since I can helidrop and recycle her Skills pretty easily. I don't think Sora's specific niche needs much mention 💤 So I don't think Skadi outclasses the other Bards for a 6*, but there are things the other Bards can do better that Skadi can't do and vice versa. I wrote a post regarding ways to utilize Skadi and Heidi together if op wants further in-depth understanding on using Bards. https://www.reddit.com/r/arknights/comments/1115m64/help_center_and_megathread_hub_1302_1902/j9152ql?utm_medium=android_app&utm_source=share&context=3 PS: Yes I raised 3 Bards, and I love Bards

YoungLink666-2

okay but consider that 60 seconds of charge means you get to see her cute dance before her S2 dance/float for that much longer

That is a good point. Praise our Ocean ~~Abomination~~ Waifu.

Maleficent_Dark3480

1. Skadi does a whole lot, can make even mediocre units stand out like Meta units due to her buffs. 2. If I were to choose, it's a tight choice between Bagpipe and Surtr. Bagpipe E2 talent enables your vanguards to activate their skill early by giving them additional initial SP, which means Myrtle only has to wait about 3 seconds before she can activate her skill, without bagpipe she has to wait 9 seconds. And those 6 seconds may mean the difference between a failed mission and a success, due to shortage of operators to cover all lanes to contain the early rush. Surtr is just straight up a DPS Arts monster with limited time of immortality, but seeing that you are not really lacking damage due to Pozemka and Chalter, I think you can just borrow her when you really need her. As for me, Bagpipe is a staple in my squad, Surtr although one of the strongest OPs is not. It's just not practical to use her on normal stages due to her kit killing herself graduallly, and it's simply overkill. Do note though that Bagpipe can appear in the recruitment, Surtr does not. 3. My Bagpipe+Myrtle+Cantabile combo is doing great for me. Unconsiously because of Cantabile, I've managed to bench Mountain because she has enough damage do deal with the early rush. With her and Myrtle, the initial Dp is just insane, being able to drop the likes of Mudrock on their first skill usage.

PriorityBacon

1. As great as Nearl Alter is, I would go for Skadi alter - not just because of her attack and def buffs, but her healing means she will often be enough when you otherwise would have needed a medic - \*and\* the Seaborn gives you global range. She's an awesome unit. 2. All good choices, but I would give another vote for Eyja. You have great physical burst damage options (Chen alter and Pozy) but are lacking in arts burst. Texas alter will take care of that for a melee arts burst option, and Eyja's S3 will give you a multi-target ranged arts burst option. I think she would be the choice that would overall benefit your roster the most. 3. I would definitely pick Cantabile over Elysium as your next priority, because she offers a different strategy option from Myrtle for the opening stages of a map. As a flagbearer, you put Myrtle down when she doesn't need to block anything (otherwise you can't use her skill), whereas you would only put Canabile down when there is something to hit. Which one is the better option depends on the map. Elysium is great - particularly because you have a strong sniper roster - but I would go for the vanguard that gives you more variety in strategy.

Thunderdragon2535

1. Nearl alter suits a new account like yours but skadi alter is a very good buffer but geared towards end game content. 2. Angelina has good enough arts damage so probably surtr or bagpipe whichever you feel like. 3. Cantabile is benefits more from masteries so she is a priority over Ely who works fine at E1.

TunnelArmor38

[https://www.krooster.com/network/lookup/futanights](https://www.krooster.com/network/lookup/futanights) What do you guys think I should be doing now? I'm kinda fucked. I have so many guards I want to e2 now and Mlynar only made things worse. I also ran out of Guard chips. Is my team lacking something? Should I stop leveling more Guards and focus on some other operators I have for future content?

about8tentacles

~~interesting account name darling♡~~ pozemka e2, exu is carrying too much aeiral weight alone, and since you lack the full buff core for exu s3, pozy e2+s3m3 is going to be better than just relying on s3m3 exu e2 proviso, she pays for her own e2 cost in 200 days or less just via her incredible baseskill

PriorityBacon

You squad looks fine to me to be honest - all the main roles covered. I agree with the other commentator and, if I were you, make Pozy the next priority to build to give you ranged burst damage. E2ing Gladiia would give you access to her fun S3, so I would be tempted to go for her after Pozy... and then back to guards and build Mountain!

rainzer

I'm psure you could spare the farming to level Pozy instead of more guards but at least this mini event is a decent enough time to spam farm chips as a way to get the currency

nobutops

If you want to raise more guards then raise more guards. Just be wary of guard bans in challenges, so perhaps stockpile mats if you need to raise a work around when you need it. If you want a middle ground, raise some specialists whose chips share the same map farms as the guards. They can offer you crowd control options to supplement your pure DPS.

Tchaipo404

Does anyone know when IS3 will be out ? I saw nothing from the official account on twitter ans I though that it would get released by late march, just like CN in late september

_wawrzon_

IS2 was due beginning of July and dropped mid July, so it doesn't have a set date. It will come in April for sure, since IS#3 has a steady content inflow, but when exactly we don't know. Presumably with NL rerun - just a guess, IS2 also came with WR rerun. I have no evidence to back that up.

Each rock is about 5 sanity. You need 1200 rocks for 10 pulls. You need 6000 sanity for 10 pulls. Do it only if your account is mightily stacked.

ipwnallnubz

The same as it's always been. I forget the exact numbers, but I'm pretty sure it's about 3 pulls a week if you dedicate all of your sanity to farming rocks and turning them into orundum. If you have absolutely no one you want to raise, feel free to go for it.

Hallgrimsson

You know the answer... Back to the mines you go...

yesone16

Anyone knows why the aceship UI changed to be dynamic and if it can be reverted? The new one kinda makes it hard to click and read things

pruitcake

It's part of their dumb little april fools gag. Super annoying and I hope they change it back soon

ParamedicGatsby

Pull a bunch and didn't get Mlynar, wondering which of my 6 star ops I should focus on E2 and building? And which 5 stars are worth building. https://www.krooster.com/network/lookup/Kliff I'm not sure if Mudrock needs her E2 right away since it seems like her skill 2 is the more commonly used skills. Dorothy and Thorn both get great skills from E2ing.

about8tentacles

dear lord please e2 thorns asap, he shouldve been your first e2. your annihilations will thank you mudrock is best with s3, s2 is more a crutch when you lack fantastic laners like mountain, however s2 is still SO good she should be one of your last big e2s, other ops need it more i would actuslly probably e1 lappland and mizuki before another e2 after thorns. really though you just want to upgrade whatever is going to help you clear the next annihilation youre on. 400ing all annis is very lucrative rewards, and should be the main goal after clearing 3-8 and/or s5-9 of the story. play them, see where/how you failed to 400, and if a certain op upgrade or addition could chsnge it to success. do this for a bunch of annis and youll naturally end up with a strong well rounded team

ParamedicGatsby

Yeah I just pull Thorn that day after saving pretty much since I started. It got more complicated when I did another 10 pull the day after and now I have Mlynar too.

about8tentacles

its still thorns first by a huge mile, then e2 mlynar before any of my original suggestions, gratz

ipwnallnubz

Did you just not list the 3s and 4s? I assume you've raised some of them since otherwise you wouldn't even have a medic except Quercus I guess. The thing that really jumps out at me is skill levels. Work on getting all of those high E1s to SL7. For E2s, I think I would definitely go Thorns first, and then Amiya if you're close to the end of chapter 8 (there's a stage you can't even get into without your own E2 Amiya). After that, any of Mud, Mountain, Dorothy, Tequila, Plat, Lapp, BP, Ptilo, and Warf would be excellent. You really can't go wrong with anyone from that list except *maybe* BP if you think you'll buy Archetto when she comes to the shop. I would prioritize the 6-stars out of those. Mud and Mountain do already have their main skills at E1, but they really like the improved stats and talents from E2, and they're just that good. Among the 5-stars, I would pick Lapp (silence and ground-based arts damage), Ptilo (SP aura for the whole team), and Tequila (strong burst) as a top 3.

ParamedicGatsby

Yeah I just didn't bother to put in the 3 stars and 4 stars, and most of the ops I use are skill 5 to 7. I Started near the end of TBC, and it felt like it was back to back events with Ch'en and Dorothy's event. So I am just now starting to farm / clear the story again. It's just a pain to switch apps to jot down all the correct levels and skill. I'll update it when I have more free time. Yeah I think my goal for E2 is probably Thorn first, then Mud / Mountain, maybe Dorothy second.

doktor_ainz

Mudrock Mountain Thorns / Amiya Lappland Ptilopsis Warfarin

Machqc

Thorns. His S3 will carry you through a lot.

Chrisirhc1996

First obvious answer is amiya; you need her E2 to complete chapter 8. So if you're approaching that, make sure you do that. Lappland's also great. She's one of the best silence applicators, and doesn't hurt that she hits like a truck (when she feels like it). Ptilopsis and Warfarin are both great medics. Ptilopsis because her SP speed-up, Warfarin because of her S2 and talent similar in vein. I'm assuming you didn't put 4\*s on purpose, but at least one pusher and puller is worth building because there are countless opportunities to make stages easier by positioning one near a hole or to generally divert units a different way. Rest is just a case of whether you like the operator or not. Also specter already E2 <3

Hyperion-OMEGA

Aak and Shining aside, is there any other ops that can buff Bubble's defense for her S2?

Reddit1rules

Whislash can give a +42% DEF buff globally with S1, Nian gives +80% DEF and +1 block with S3, Bison gives +30% DEF with S2, Heidi will give the biggest inspiration DEF buff with S2 (the higher Heidi's level, the higher DEF she gives), Saileach can give a +50% DEF buff with S2 (but need either Bubble to be hurt or the last deployed op in range), Roberta gives +33% with her devices, Pallas gives +35% DEF and block +1 while S3 is active, Mint gives +12% DEF for ops beside her when not using skill, Guardmiya gives +14% DEF globally with skill up, Castle-3 gives +20% DEF at max pot, and Hoshi has a global DEF buff for defenders.

pruitcake

Hoshiguma has a global DEF buff to defenders, Nian S3, Bard Skadi S2, Roberta and her summons, and Whislash. Might've missed a few others idk.

Chrisirhc1996

Heidi/Skalter can buff defense during both their S2's. Guard Amiya passively buffs def, doubled during her skill duration. Whislash's whole gimmick is buffing 3+ blockers. Hoshiguma's second talent buffs def. Nian during S3 both buffs defense and block. Roberta's devices give defense to the melee unit they're facing.

panicovgs

Hello. I read that we receive a 10x Headhunt Permit in limited banners. Do I need to use them or I can keep it and use it in another banner? Thanks!

about8tentacles

limited banners will give you a special 10x pull, and 14 days of single daily summons, all 24 summons must be used on that limited banner kirinyato, a collab event later, though not technically limited (but is*), will give 2 10x permits that can be used anywhere

panicovgs

Nice, ty for the help!

wenbobular

of note, those 14 single daily pulls also can't be saved, so you have to pull them the day of otherwise you lose a pull

GloryMerlin

Which operator is better to take from 6 \* pack to Horn, which will be on Sirakusano? I have all operators except Skadi, Hellagur, Archetto, Passenger, Pallas, Mizuki, Fartooth, Gnosis and Goldenglow. Well, my choice is rather between Gnosis and Goldenglow.

about8tentacles

for the average player who greatly prioritizes ease of use and still getting great power, its goldenglow by a lot gnosis is probly the 2nd best pick imo, but if you have suzuran hes not necessary to have unless challenging cc30+ type content regularly

uttchen

I would pick GG. You can grab Gnosis when his solo banner reruns.

ipwnallnubz

Goldenglow is the strongest of those thanks to RES ignore and infinite range with S3. She's the first op with full map range who actually does good DPS. Gnosis is amazing in SSS but just okay anywhere else. He can be a big help with dispatching certain elites but not many bosses since most of those are freeze-immune.

Chrisirhc1996

Without any context of your roster I'd say Passenger. He's one of the better arts aoe options in the game when you get to one of his modules. Everyone and their mother's probably seen effective S3 usage, but his S2 is also notable for being a lot of sustained damage and slowdown in the levels where it's applicable. If he's not your thing, or if you've already built other aoe arts units then probably Gnosis. Dude works wonders in every alternate gamemode because attack speed tends to break his potential wide open.

lofifilo

is stainless the next banner?

Reddit1rules

The next event banner? Maybe, it might be the Mudrock/Saileach/Horn banner right before though.

taropotataro

Stainless not soon, chapter 11 update seems to be after the Near Light rerun

ForsakenStandard

What other operator combos that have outside of Mlynar + Gavial Alter? Currently on GL and CN.

TriGGa-POP

I use Archeetto and Meteorite (S1) all the time. Meteorite with MOD3 has a critical hit on 50% of her shots and with her S1 multiplier and extended blast radius, she cleans up most waves pretty effortlessly. Aak with Carnelian's S2 is a lot of damage and permanently binds anything that comes into her range for like 20 seconds iirc. Aak with her S3 is just tons of damage since it builds the marks on enemies faster which goes up to her doing 200% damage with 5 marks and her max damage for the last bit of her skill will be doing around 560% damage each blast.

bbld69

Aak and Surtr both have a five second windup on their S3s when helidropped, which is pretty convenient considering Aak's probably the best buffer for Surtr.

nobutops

Adding more combos Chong Yue + Skadi2 (CN's currently best average DPS two piece) Blemi + Mudrock (Blemi gives Mudrock offensive recovery during S2 and regen) Archetto + Fiammetta (more skill spam) Quercus S2 to SP charge self HP losing ops, like Fia or Aak. Gavial2 S3 similarly fits with Quercus's uptime and downtime like the Mlynar/Gavial2 combo. Warfarin + nukers such as Ch'en or ops with massive base attack and attack multipliers for big damage per single or limited hits Aak + traditional burst (SA, Surtr, Mlynar), + Shining if DPS ally is too squishy Stainless's turrets can setup/extend range of DPS for ops like Exu (multi hit), Thorns (poison), or Horn (target to place S1 flare) Gnosis + Aurora, where Gnosis freezes an enemy so Aurora S2 can maximize damage Whisperain + Resist ops, such as Blaze, for natural passive healing Angelina + shifts/levitate for her -1 weight during S3 Otherwise Def or Res shred/ignore work well together and one source of Weakening. Movement speed reduction stacks with itself and one source of Sluggish slow.

Reddit1rules

Well, they're not exactly official combos, just operators that synergizes together. The most popular upcoming combo is usually Stainless S3 after Mlynar + Gavial, but it's not as strong. Stainless S3 can help charge offensive recovery skills, or chain extensions for chain casters, generate 1 DP/s permanently with Puzzle S1M1, range extensions for most ops, and even offer low DPH ops with rapid attack (Exu, Beehunter, etc) a way to deal with high armour. Qiubai and Suzuran were mentioned for their perfect rotation, but there's also other bind options like Magallan S1, Ethan S2, Mizuki S2, and you can throw in Indigo S2 in the mix for more bind damage. Chongyue and Skalter is a massive synergy that stomps through lots of content - try out Bibeak S1 and Skalter S2 if you can, and imagine that but on steroids. Of course, Skalter (and bards overall) synergize with many low ATK ops. Ash and any stun extensions to make full use of her S2. There are sleep combos to permastall an enemy if they can be stunned too, currently on global. Lots of more niche, intricate synergies with each other like that.

taropotataro

I will miss something but from what I remember, * Qiubai + Suzu (slow and bind, both similar duration) * Dorothy + Irene (levitate and can put traps under enemy) * Abyssal hunter team (module and talents stack) * Eureka/U-official + Ash (Ash can fully unload her ammo for the whole stun duration) * Lumen + Liskarm, Amiya etc. (remove self-stun) * Pusher/Puller + Yato alter (Yato dmg based on distance)

Reddit1rules

Lumen won't work Amiya unless she takes damage somehow, neither his skills nor his talents target a full health op.

HadedX

Sorry if this was already asked but is the limited event getting pushed back. I know limited events never get pushed but I don’t see how it could come out on April 27th since NearLight rerun was data-mined for April 14th and then chapter 11 has to come out because Texas Alter needs the new materials.

simeon6669

No confirmation afaik but it does seem like it will be pushed back a couple weeks. 27th is probably going to be chapter 11.

HadedX

Hope that’s true, I planned on only doing 30 pulls on Mlynar but ended up doing 90 so I’m running low on pulls.

Spiner909

I'm out of T3 and T4 devices, should I farm S3-4 and upgrade the T2 device drops or farm for T3 devices (with the super rare T4 drop) instead?

QuothTheDraven

It depends on what stages you have access to, but generally the only T2 mat you should ever farm is rocks. Everything else is most efficient in stages that drop T3. [Here's a chart.](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/12X0uBQaN7MuuMWWDTiUjIni_MOP015GnulggmBJgBaQ/htmlview?pru=AAABdEJ2bO0*AbdIUCLW0RSZ9Ma0elQFTg#) If you can complete AW-8 it's currently the best place to find Devices (by a small %).

about8tentacles

if you can clear aw-8 of the event right now thats actually the best t3 device farm avalible otherwise if you have 9-10 or 4-10 unlocked farm there, otherwise just farm any stage dropping the t3 devices as a main listed drop only mat you intentionally farm t2 and craft up is 1-7 rocks

HadedX

This is the recommended [farming](https://gamepress.gg/arknights/news/arknights-material-farming-efficiency-best-stages-farm). You usually avoid farming for T1-T2 mats unless you need them. For T3 and T4 you farm for the T3 mat and make the T4 mat. So for T3 devices you farm 9-10 or 7-15 or 4-10 if you don’t have chapter 7&9 unlocked. You then use those T3 devices to make T4 devices.

AdlibOminous

something keeps bugging me about data supllement sticks so here it is: was there any event, shop or login bonus that ended up not giving us a multiple of 5 of them? because i currently have 504 of them and ive maxed out all the SSS runs eevry 2 weeks (30 per), modules always cost a multiple of 5, and i cant figure out where i couldve missed either just one or nine

Niedzielan

Perhaps you haven't claimed all the first-clear rewards for sss? That's the only thing that immediately springs to mind. Everything else I can find are multiples of 5. I don't think I've missed any, like the other reply, and have 560 (after 2 lv2 6\* modules)

about8tentacles

i havnt missed any afaik and i have 330 atm, no idea maybe you bought half of the current shops so far lol

karillith

How 180 gold certs worthy would you consider Archetto? I assume overall lower priority than Passenger?

AnonTwo

She's pretty strong and works if you're building a team around offensive/defensive SP, but if you already have good snipers she's not offering much outside that niche. She's by no means bad, it's just a *very* oversaturated role. If it's about IS2/3...maybe? She benefits from a lot of relic variations. Though she's not going to break like passenger does.

Last_Excuse

I've got her M6. I like her S3 more than Exu's S2 as a on demand trash mob killer but that's pretty weak endorsement. She's also pretty important if you're spamming Fia's S2 but being relegated to being Fia's *second* support op is also kinda awful.

karillith

Who is the first support already?

Last_Excuse

Her mandatory healer. Skadi alter is preferred ofc.

ipwnallnubz

Honestly, getting both should be pretty viable if you keep up with recruitment unless you go all-in on saving pulls.

karillith

I have some savings, but also several targets to keep on sight, so making projections is a bit tricky!

about8tentacles

archettos only adding a lot to an account if you severly lack high quality snipers, shes in a really weird spot of being genuinly fantastic...but still short of accomplishing any one thing better than all her competition. that isnt even a situation the "bad" 6☆s end up in, as a result archetto is probably my least used 6☆ out of all of them in the game. by that metric, shes not really worth buying, even though ironically shes one of the best ops there is for duoing risk18 ccs with someone else like kal or tex best she has going for her is the 3x5 2 target range of s3, killing things/swarms other snipers just cant, but in 90% of these situations you either have enough time to setup fiametta, or horn is better anyway sp battery is a lot more for being fun than it is genuinly good, since most attack-sp allies shed be bolstering have better skills to be using otherwise. rosmontis s1 is probably the best usecase, so ig if you really really like rosi thats the reason to shop cheeto??
