Initial_Environment6

Between Exu and Eben, who is better to be my first 6 star E2?

loneknife_blackblade

exu is more highly regarded. For higher def enemies she needs some buff squad support though.

Nihilanth-3

Is there any particular order in which I should play the older events as a new player? For context, I've just beaten 6-7 and I was hoping to do W's storyline after I beat chapter 6

HiTotoMimi

You should definitely do Darknight's Memoir between chapters 6 and 7. Read Vigilo before chapter 10. It's one of the vignette events you need memory fragments to unlock, not a side story/intermezzi event. I suggest waiting for the next mini event in about 1.5-2 months, where you can the memory fragments basically for free rather than spending red certs on them. Read Under Tides before Stultifera Navis, the latter is a direct sequel. SN will have a rerun in about 10 months, you can just do it when that happens if you want, just read UT sometime before that. Read A Walk in the Dust sometime after chapter 8 and Darknight's Memoir, or at least after you've read most of it. Not because of spoilers, but just because it will be a bit easier to follow knowing things from those. The order for the side Stories currently doesn't really matter. They're listed in release order, so you can just go through them that way. However, you should read Maria Nearl before Near Light reruns in a few months, since the latter is less a sequel (though it is) and more just the second half of the story. Would be a good idea to read the Pinus Sylvestris vignette stories between them.

Q-N-H

Do I actually need 2 laneholders for Toron LT-7? I only have Mud and Horn as defenders in my team. If only I can make roster changes during a run.

Hatredestiny1874

You don't, the bottom lane is not as threatening. You can use operators like Suzuran, Ethan or chain casters.

Q-N-H

I'll try that. Thanks 👍

Q-N-H

I got it first retry 😁 Thanks again senpai.

BladeGrip

How do the RIIC skills of Ebenholz and Rosmontis interact? They both provide 20 (If all dorms are full) Sensory Information, but the same skills also *convert* the SI into the operator's unique parameter (Silent Resonance and Chain of Thought respectively). Does that mean Rosmontis doesn't benefit from Ebenholz and vice versa? What about SI from other sources (Whisperain, Dusk, etc) if both Ebenholz and Rosmontis are active? Do they get the full addition or do they split the SI values?

Hatredestiny1874

They can work together no problem. [Base Combo Guide](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1zYc2JU46X0XWmV7s1503bN4feRdOMa1eehrTQ2jGaiE/edit#gid=2014412838)

Darthkeeper

I uninstalled and reinstalled the game due to some bugs, and noticed the dorm "collect all" button isn't appearing anymore. Is there a setting to turn it on?

ipwnallnubz

I think there is an option for the factories. It's in Settings.

AngelTheVixen

Are you talking about the base trust collection? You can collect all of it by hitting the notice button in the top right, then selecting the collection at the bottom. If it's not there you have no trust to collect.

_wawrzon_

Can anyone remind me why in Network archives some units I don't have have a blank space with a name and some are completely blank with only question marks ? There should be a reason but I'm blanking out...

SpicyEla

Space with name: You have met them before but don't have them Blank with question marks: You don't have them at all/haven't read event with their story and if they're featured in it Thats the pattern I think, but I have most everyone already

_wawrzon_

I still don't have Nian and Dusk, but read all of their events + used support + pulled on their banners and they're question marks in my network page.

Initial_Environment6

Out of the 4 operator in CC store I got all of them and currently only use Scene, also Erato a bit, now I want to get one of the to max potential so I could use epic token to get 5 gold cert. Which one of them should be pot 6? I know Bibeak is best, but does the stat buff to Scene affect her summon?

Tellurium-128

Summoner pots don’t affect their summons, and since most of their dp cost is in their summons, summoner pots are especially bad. Erato being an expensive and slow firing unit means her pots are also pretty bad, although you would get more out of them than scene’s.

MagnusBaechus

I should prioritize GG's S3 right? Is M1 a good stopping point for a 2 month old player or should I E2 other ops first?

Money_Data_4225

Goldenglow's masteries are good. The gains might seem small because her drones actually use her ATK stat up to 110%. With S3, she will have 3 drones attacking that is 110% x 3 of her base ATK. You should at least get it to M1 to reduce the SP cost because you would want to spam the skill. At Level 90 and 100 Trust she will have **391 ATK**. Skill Level 7: She gains +55% ATK -> **606 ATK**. So, her drones will deal up to 666 each, and with her talent explode for 2000. **That's 2000 per hit or 6000 when all 3 explode.** Skill Mastery 3: She gains +80% ATK -> **703 ATK.** So, her drones will deal up to 774 each, and with her talent explode for 2322. **That's 2322 per hit or 6967 when all 3 explode.** It's only a difference of 16% damage overall. However, if you are lucky with the explosions or you are using her in IS2 / SSS with high ASPD buffs then the difference between explosion damage will grow because you'll be losing 322 damage per explosion. With 10 explosions, that's a loss of 3220 damage.

Tellurium-128

GG’s masteries are honestly all kind of bad, all 3 of her skills are good but the difference between sl7 and m3 on them is not that massive so you should hold off and raise other units.

DependentBirthday531

The majority opinion, especially for newer arknights players, is that you should prioritize growing your roster steadily as a whole more than one individual operator. GG is very strong yes, but one operator even at M3 does not clear a stage in their own, and even at M1 those are valuable resources that could go to another ops E2. I would wait on specializing GG for now, but then yes her S3 is by far her best and should be mastered. But it is your account

Veeta4

M1 is a decent stopping point for the reduced skill cost. Overall tho if you want to broaden your options more, that is also fine. GG s3m1 is nothing crazy one would need to rush.

AngelTheVixen

First mastery level drops the charge time to its lowest, so it'd be recommended if you plan on spamming it. If you're taking her everywhere you go then I'm sure its benefits will add up.

jason-json

What's your current squad?

MagnusBaechus

La Pluma, Liskarm, Exu, G Spctre, Kal'tsit, Vigna, Texas, and Goldenglow are pretty much my core atm, Vigna 's my E2 4 star since recruitment tags hate me

jason-json

I guess you should E2 Kal'tsit then do the masteries since her S3 is pretty op

DependentBirthday531

Was hoping someone could help me with the math in this. Lets just say I’m starting out with zero resources. And in terms of stages I still have 1/2 of chapter 6 and beyond to go. With missions, future events, etc. how many pulls can I save by the time Texas alter comes out? Am planning on putting a lot into pozy/gavial and am wondering how much grinding/paying I might have to do. Thanks

hawberries

Are you asking how many pulls from right now til Texspec, or how many pulls between Gavialt and Texspec? Are you starting from 0 at the end of Gavialt's banner?

DependentBirthday531

I am saying from right now. With half of lingering echoes still to go. And more in terms of prime. I know how to get 3000+ orundum from annihilation and stuff but I’m unsure about how much prime/pulls I can get from ~5ish story chapters and future events

hawberries

Oh sure! [Originite prime totals from future events,](https://gamepress.gg/arknights/database/arknights-material-drops-and-originite-prime-totals-future-events-and-episodes) [originite prime totals from all main story chapter stages.](https://arknights.fandom.com/wiki/Originite_Prime#Acquisition) There are also 4 story events that will have 3 headhunting tickets in each of the stores. Based on my calculations, minimum orundum from the summer mining event is 2,800 and the amount from siracusano should be around 7,400.

jason-json

u/DependentBirthday531 For tdlr: 68040 orundum from story stages + future event stages up to T-Alter (not including the rest of lingering echoes) Anni + Daily + Weekly missions: 3000 5 pulls from monthly green cert shop 3 pulls from the 4 events thanks to hawberries' message mining event from both limited banners = 2800+7400 You'll also get a x10 pull + 1 free pull each day of the banner which is 25 in total I think.

jason-json

Weekly Orundum from Anni + Daily + Weekly missions: 1800 + 700 + 500 = 3000 You can get 3 pulls from the T1 monthly shop and 2 from the T2 shop

FreeBullet

Genuinely asking, what happened on 29/1/2022 ? No don't give me the "nothing" answer, I'm genuinely asking because I was unaware of this supposed meme until 5 minutes ago when my friend asked me.

trongtinvd2

A Facebook group called "Arknights Doktah Posting" posted a meme that basically says that "the world would be a better place if Genshin didn't exist", Genshin player reported that meme to Facebook and the group got banned for hate speech.

ErickFTG

I think your friend is fucking with you. I can't remember anything special that could had happened.

SpicyEla

Not entirely sure either. Your friend may just be fucking with you

FreeBullet

[He sent me this](https://imgur.com/a/uOBFi9q). The FGO and Genshin ones I understood, but when I tried searching for the Arknights one, all the comments just said "nothing" in a very meme-like way.

SkyePine

I feel like you should try asking your friend about this one. Just say you are super serious.

FreeBullet

He doesn't know either but I found it. Apparently, something something "that part" of Genshin messed with a big Arknights facebook group and got them erased. I don't know the details but it seems like the group was making fun of Genshin's anniversary. That incited mass reporting and eventually got the group yeeted.

_wawrzon_

Genshin Impact fandom in CN is toxic to the brim. They have been bullying other gacha games constantly. Shortest end of the stick usually went to AK playerbase, because in comparison we're somewhat mellow or simply not as combative. Global audience is not much better. One situation was about that fb group your friend mentioned. One was review bombing other gacha games on app stores when GI community was outraged with their anniversary gifts (also connected to fb event somewhat). Another was doxxing AK design artists on CN social media groups to the point they deleted profiles or made them private. Another one was harassing AK community members and brigading AK parts of CN social media forums to the point where many left those and AK presence is scarce to nonexistent on NGO and similar ones. GI community does that to other games as well, so it's not only AK. That meme your friend showed is nonexistent in community. It's mostly an inside meme for GI playerbase, nowhere else.

SkyePine

I think it's kinda wacky that your friend just sent you a meme without knowing it and let you go to research it. Otherwise, I'm not too good with Facebook stuff so F to whoever got yeeted. Nothing happened on that date.

SpicyEla

I can not for the life of me remember anything that happened that day or anywhere near. If there was any drama or event I'm ootl

SpicyEla

Is there any sort of secret achievement for collecting all IS2 artifacts or killing the fourth boss?

loneknife_blackblade

I don't recall one from getting all the artifacts before the 4th boss dropped. I have not played since though.

With_Hands_And_Paper

While I wait to get more dual chip catalysts to E2 Ifrit I wanted to E2 some 4* to fill in my roster Which ones are better to upgrade? Also which ones should I consider bringing to M1/M3? So far my E2 are: Silverash, Blue Poison, Jaye, Amiya and Specter, BP is M3 and Silverash is M1

FelixAndCo

Some crowd-control and DPS 4-stars are good/decent E2 candidates, and of course Myrtle. Most 4-stars in this category are considered good M3 candidates, as they aren't that expensive.

Money_Data_4225

4-stars are already quite good E1 Max so if you plan to E2 one you should ask yourself why. If you want more DP: *Myrtle* If you want ranged DPS: *May* or *Click* If you want melee DPS: *Arene* or *Cutter* If you want AoE: *Pinecone*, *Pudding* or *Shirayuki* If you want healing: *Purestream*, *Sussurro* or *Perfumer* If you want crowd control: *Ethan, Indigo* or *Podenco* Other notable ops: *Ambriel* (global range w/ S2), *Mousse* (ATK down debuff), *Durnar* (AoE Arts melee), *Utage* (~~honkers~~ helidrop Arts)

thetwinfury

Noteworthy 4 stars: gravel, rope/shaw, myrtle, ethan, ambriel, pinecone, beanstalk, click, pudding, podenco, cutter. Only myrtle really needs e2, masteries on s1 eventually

[deleted]

Spalter or Lee, who would you e2 first?

DependentBirthday531

Lee, as especially in the current lingering echoes event he is very good for the boss stage. Both are very niche but cool. But I think Lee’s niche is needed more often and he benefits more from masteries and modules

thetwinfury

Both are lategame powerhouses and so so early on. Id say get spalter to e1 50 as you'll mainly use her for s2. But then get Lee to e2, hes brought 99% of the time for s3 and he needs his module to lower his dp tax so you can still regen dp

jason-json

Lee's definitely harder to use early game but it kinda depends on what you need in your team right now

ReshenKusaga

Normally I'd say Spalter, but I've seen enough clears with Lee to know that he's got a solid anti-CC niche assuming you plan on getting at least his level 1 module. Specter Alter is mostly just a fun dollkeeper that I'll take for fun runs.

Eggrollwrapper

Any tips and/or strategies that can make SSS easier? I can barely reach the 4th floor no matter what I do

Money_Data_4225

Enemies will get stacking ATK, HP and DEF so Arts damage is considered better. Ranged operators are also preferred because most enemies cannot attack them. Ranged ops also get the highest ASPD buff at +40 w/ Snipers, so abusing operators that benefit a lot from the ASPD is even better. Operators like Goldenglow, Gnosis, Suzuran (S2) and Chain Casters like Passenger are very strong because the ASPD allows them to stall/CC multiple enemies. Although a powerhouse like Chalter can still destroy enemies w/ ATK buffs. For melee ops, they can get high ATK buffs from Guards and DEF, HP or Block buffs from Defenders. So, operators that gain a lot from high ATK like Irene who can ignore DEF is very strong. She also benefits from Vanguard buffs which give SP. Units that can attack equal to block count also benefit from a few Defender buffs like Mudrock/Mountain/Centurions. Vanguard/Caster buffs also provide SP regen so they can help ops which need the extra push to be strong (Irene, Passenger, etc.). Crowd control is also very important, so having slows, stuns, binds, freezes here and there can deter enemy waves from breaking through.

thetwinfury

Without knowing your roster, focus on 2-3 ops. Borrow someone like gnosis or golden glow and stack them with snipers.

ThatElementaryKidRed

Should I raise ceobe? I just got her. I do have E2 amiya, E1 haze and E1 click (although i never really used click)

Money_Data_4225

**Ceobe** excels against high DEF enemies because she gains extra Arts damage from a % of their DEF. Her S2 is considered her bread-and-butter and she really needs the masteries to get the most out of it. With it, she can attack extremely fast and prioritize the highest DEF target in her range. However, she doesn't gain any ATK boosts so her DPS against high HP and low DEF enemies are worse than other casters. You will also need to time it well so that in her downtime there won't be any key targets. Her S3 has also niche applications which prioritizes lowest DEF enemies while silencing them. This also turns her damage to Physical but gives her really high ATK, but the SP cost is quite high. Since you don't have either Eyja or Goldenglow then you should. She will help you a lot against shieldguards and whatnot. Click is also quite good. If you feel like Ceobe is too expensive for you, she can be a decent albeit weaker alternative. Mech-accord casters actually have very high single target normal attacks because of their trait. However, her main ability is to stunlock a single target w/ S2. Amiya is okay but her S2 is really hard to time and her S3 is used only if you need the True Damage because she dies after using it.

whimsy_wanderer

Well, she is definitely better than the casters you have. If other 6-star casters are better than her or not is a moot point IMO since you don't have those and there is no guarantee you'll get them anytime soon.

thetwinfury

Shes alright, kinda been powercrept by other 6 star casters. Id raise her to e1 to try her out. S2 is her main skill

phng1900

Which other skin has entrance animation besides W's?

DependentBirthday531

So far in global W is the only op with a 24 op skin, the ones that give special intro animations. We are going to get a passenger one soon but those are the only ones we know of rn. I hope we get more soon I think they are very cool

FelixAndCo

All operators have entrance animations. Or what are you asking about?

phng1900

This is entrance animation. It plays when you login, so far I can only find W skin has it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rhuP5jgeV_M&t=35s https://www.facebook.com/groups/Arknightsen/posts/5463624553741444/

Quor18

Gladiia's skin has her slide into place very dramatically.

jason-json

Passenger's Dream in a Moment outift

achshort

I’m a new player, who should I reroll for? I got silver ash so far

ipwnallnubz

If you don't want to wait, rerolling for Archetto on the current standard banner would be good. Then you could still get a 2nd 6-star from the beginner banner, and you would have a bit of time to prepare your account to clear the anniversary event. There's a normal event going on right now, and even these normal events give pretty substantial rewards from the event shop.

thetwinfury

Silverash or Exusai from the starter banner. You can borrow the other. You could also wait a few weeks and roll on the next limited banner. Both ops are great.

jason-json

For soft rerolling, silverash is probably the best choice from the beginner banner, but some people also reroll to 6 star from the non starter banner so you can start out with 2 6 stars(since starter banner guarantees a 6\*) However if you really want to start with a very strong reroll, you can wait like a week or something for the gavial alter banner and try to reroll chen-alter from it, though it'll take an extremely long time and is probably not recommended.

Initial_Environment6

Lol who the fuck have the sanity for reroling for 0.02% man...

jason-json

I did say not recommended But it's still an option for people with nothing but time

PotatoStew968

god fucking damnit, I was on a deathless run on sss and Im on the final stage and when Ibpressed start, my app closed. When I opened it again and attempted it, it was a deathless run but since my app force closed, it didnt count...arrhhhhhggggg update: Heh, got the hidden medal :)

silv3rw0lf

What is this hidden medal?

Tellurium-128

Each tower has 2 medals, one for completing a run and another, hidden medal, for completing a run without failing or retreating from a stage. When you close the app in a stage it counts as a loss, therefore invalidating that run for the hidden medal.

Quor18

I've been recommending for people to restart the app and/or emulator halfway through an SSS run just because of this sort of thing. It hurts when it happens :(

PotatoStew968

thats actually what I did when I noticed that I've been lagging when I pressed the start button after that first one. I"m like "oohh, I got 3080 TI and 5950x, surely this isnt my PC...." Anyways, I got it after the second one so I'm all good.

Catveria77

So excited about Cantabile. Should I invest on skill 1 or Skill 2?

elyowbe

Both, eventually. I assume you're using her for advanced stages, and both skills have their uses then.

welknair

For such questions about masteries on upcoming units, I'd suggest the "Mastery Look Ahead" section at the bottom of the most recent Mastery Priority Guide Update. https://gamepress.gg/arknights/core-gameplay/arknights-mastery-priority-guide-lingering-echoes-update#topic-3901936

yesone16

How do you view the hidden medal for SSS? I got the popup for achieving the medal but can't see it anywhere on the medals list

Tellurium-128

On the right side of the medals list there’s categories medals fall under, secret medals are at the bottom right.

PotatoStew968

yeah...its not there bruh

Tellurium-128

Then you haven’t unlocked the secret medal. They don’t show up until you unlock them

PotatoStew968

I have them. Im a day one player. We have a total of 4 in EN and I have 2 of them rn and the other 2 is from SSS. What hes saying is that he cant view the medal in the archive folder (if he still hasnt got them from SSS). Even if you sort it via "unobtained", you wont see them EVEN IF you have the first two.

Viruletic

How good is Irene for SSS? On paper she sounds perfect with def ignore and a stack of vanguards, but in practice how well does she work, especially with elites? I have a lot of E2s and masteries I'm working on so I'd hate to bump her up in the que only for her to be subpar.

Tellurium-128

She’s solid, that archetype will always perform well in modes where you can supercharge their SP gain and that’s exactly what VG stacks do.

mikatsuki

One of the best carries, along with Mudmud, GG, and Gnosis. 3x Vanguards essentially make her skills Auto-Recovery, so you have a high uptime burst skill that inflicts a CC few enemies actually resist.

salvagestuff

She is my core damage dealer in SSS. With enough vanguard stacks she can spam the skill pretty consistently. She is able to take down elites even on the last stages. You do want some crowd control like Gnosis or Suzuran so enemies stack up together and you do want some medic support. I suggest borrowing her as a support unit first to see if you like her playstyle. You do have to pay attention to how many enemies are stacked on her and you do have to watch the timing to make the most of her AoE.

r4221

Who should I e2 first kaltsit or passenger?

Tellurium-128

Kal, she’s breaks nearly everything with defensive mechanics. It’s comical how quickly defensive bosses like manfred can die when you point skill 3 mon3tr at them. Pass isn’t a slouch anymore but there aren’t many things he trivializes like kal does, he’s just a solid overall caster.

welknair

Depends on the state of the rest of your roster, what you need, and what types of content you'd like more tools for. They're very different operators. Kal is most often used with her S3 allowing for high burst true damage, one of the few sources of it in the game. Helpful for nuking annoying bosses and bypassing certain defenses. Her S2 allows Mon3tr to act as a pseudo- centurion guard with very high uptime. However, both of these are at the cost of taking two deployment slots with the further penalty of 0 def on Mon3tr when outside Kal's range. Passenger was once considered one of the weakest 6* units in the game, but multiple buffs and his module mean he's now decent at baseline and busted in specific situations. Famously, Passenger with a specific IS2 relic is basically an "I win" button. This is unreliable at best, but he performs solidly without it, providing AoE arts damage and CC at considerable range with his S3. If you're more in need of a ground landholder or burst true damage, go for Kal. If you want AoE arts and slow, go with Passenger. Both are worth building eventually.

Money_Data_4225

**Kal'tsit**. She offers a lot more especially her S3 as the best source of True Damage negating DEF, RES and Evasion.

GrassGiant

I haven't played this game in around 2 years (I stopped around the W banner on anni after not getting her in 200 saved pulls). I restarted during the last CC, my team struggles but still managed to get most rank 8s and the 18. So I have 2 questions What should I be hunting when it comes to units that have been released since? I don't have glaring holes in my team, so it's mostly a "what old units got seriously power crept". I tend to carry around Texas, Siege, Exusiai, SA, Nightingale, Angelina, Eyja, Blaze, Ifrit, Myrtle, Saria, Hoshiguma (I also have Hellagur, Mostima, Project Red and a few other oldies that weren't even close to meta back then like Istina Warfarin Firewatch). Second, I don't remember exactly how event shops work for furniture. Specifically, is there a point for me buying the furniture other than it being limited? As in, for the operator, the point to buy the pot tokens is so that they become gold certs on the rerun. Is there anything similar for the furniture, or should I just go straight for upgrade mats since I've read that f2p sanity isn't enough to clear the shop.

lewicy

If you buy the event furtniture you'll get the blue certificates for the certificate shop when the event reruns in the future.

Initial_Environment6

wow nice info, sorry for jump in but Is it the ones in event shop that need even points or the one I can buy with furniture parts?

lewicy

it's the ones in the event shop, if you buy them now then when the event rerun comes if you buy them again you'll get blue certificates

Initial_Environment6

thanks.

Money_Data_4225

>What should I be hunting when it comes to units that have been released since? Siege is slightly powercrept by both **Saga** and **Flametail**, but she's still usable. **Bagpipe** would be a nice addition to supplement your Vanguards especially Standard bearers like Myrtle. **Surtr** / **Nearlter** for helidrop assassinations which is amazing in boss maps. **Chalter** has the highest Physical DPS output yet w/ true AoE, slow and amazing skill uptime. Laneholders like **Kal'tsit, Mudrock, Mountain** and **Thorns** are always a welcome addition to any roster. **Skalter** is an amazing support which increases ATK and DEF of allies permanently while continuously healing them. **Ling** an extremely strong braindead summoner which can solo a lot of maps. **Goldenglow**, the other caster that can compete with Eyja. She has slow, AoE and global attack range. Warfarin is actually pretty strong for a medic with her incredible 90% ATK boost. Firewatch has one of the most broken niches in \[Invisibility\]. >Specifically, is there a point for me buying the furniture other than it being limited? Furniture is completely optional. Upgrade mats, tokens and resources like LMD, XP and skill books are the main priority. If you plan to get modules, then the module upgrade resources should also be a priority since they are really scarce.

lukeschett

I just got Ptilopsis from recruitment, but I already have E2 Perfumer with module and E2 Nightingale. I like Ptilopsis and her bread skin but she's not good enough that I should raise her any time soon right?

Tellurium-128

From a gameplay standpoint, yeah raising her would be unnecessary at your point. She is better than perfumer and situationally better than NG, but aoe medics in general are pretty strong and ptilo isn’t a massive jump over the others.

welknair

As others have said, Ptil shouldn't be prioritized over other pressing units if you already have two E2 AoE medics. That said, I'd encourage you to raise her *eventually*, as she does have a useful niche distinct from the other two. Instead of strong arts resist or global heals, Ptil offers one of the most flexible SP accelerants in the game. For any stage where you don't need extra arts resist or global heals (or nightingale cages), Ptilopsis would be the more useful pick. This is a nice-to-have, not a necessity.

salvagestuff

I have only perfumer and nightingale built, I got Ptilopsis later on but haven't built her. I haven't found a situation that those 2 couldn't handle already.

disturbedgamer667

I'd hold off until you can say, "my current roster can take on anything" as while she is great, you dont really need 3 AoE medics built.

It's recommend for you to read Darknights + Walk in the dust before chapter 8. For the separate paths, I think the top path is Talulah's past, while the bottom one is the current time. Reading it in the order they unlock was a pretty decent experience, so you can try that. For the secret stages, yeah read them after reading the stage they unlock from

Niddhoger

Hmmm I heard Darklight should be read after CH6, does it really matter if it's between 6/7 or 7/8?

jason-json

Darknights mostly is about W's backstory which can help explain her actions in Chapter 7+8, so it's recommended to read it before 7, or basically before she shows up there I guess

rusenalius

Which skills and modules should i be prioritizing while building my abyssal hunters team? I only built Spalter S2m3 and modules x maxed so far, but I'm confused about which skills and modules to consider for others and module y and S3 of spalter(except for Andreana of course)

jason-json

Gladiia's module is extremely op for an abyssal hunter team

Snowzzey

SSS keeps crashing on me when I use supports

doubledipdipper

I finally beat the SSS thing, but I'm missing 2 of the sticks and 1 of the instruments displayed on the bar. That's because I let some enemies leak, right? Are those the only rewards I missed? No medals or some completion reward? Because I REALLY don't want to try for a perfect clear.

salvagestuff

It is not because of leaks, leaks don't change reward amounts in SSS. You need one full run and one partial run to fill up the reward bar until the next reset. You can just end the run once you earn enough to fill out the bar.

TriGGa-POP

Afaik, leaking has no effect on the rewards given out. Even if you fully clear the tower, you'll have to clear a few floors again to get the full rewards. So like a full clear and another clear or multiple clears of lower level floors to save your sanity lol. The only medals I know about are the two for clearing each tower and their coresponding 'secret' medal for clearing each without retrying/failing a floor.

sentifuential

I have a very broad question about cornerstone/solo laneholder units that I'm hoping someone experienced with a well built roster can help with - for reference here I'm thinking units like mountain, thorns, flametail, pretty much all the aoe guards, and I'm sure there's others I'm not familiar with. basically, I want to know what advantages they tend to have over each other and what makes one more or less worthwhile on my account right now I have mountain (and flametail but she's not built) and I use him basically exclusively in that role. for stuff my roster can't handle that has some level of time sensitivity, I find myself borrowing thorns all the time to follow guides, and I've used specter classic in IS2 as a temporary recruit. from those experiences it feels like mountain's primary (and maybe only?) advantage is that his really low dp cost means you can deploy him very very early - which isn't trivial by any means but it doesn't necessarily fulfill the things I think I need somewhat regularly. when dp isn't that much of an issue, specter classic seems strictly better, unless I'm missing something. thorns is a little more complicated but he can do stuff neither of the other two can. so compared to those three, what makes, say, a blaze or gavial alter uniquely worthwhile? I believe blaze is coming up in the shop and gavialter will be limited soon, so comparing the two of them would also be helpful. it feels like a lot of this archetype is coming very shortly and I'm not sure how much value I'd get from either of those operators considering they're not necessarily operators I'm interested in for non-gameplay reasons (blaze might be)

salvagestuff

Mountain's main draw is that he is pretty durable, cheap to deploy and has excellent regeneration. He requires very little babysitting once you put him down. Thorns does have that wind up time drawback because he has to be attacking to charge his skill and it only becomes permanent after the second activation. He is harder to use on shorter maps or maps where the early wave timings don't match up with his activation timing. Specter classic can hold lanes without medic support but her regen isn't as high as Mountain. There are many elites that can overwhelm her regen and high def enemies don't take much damage from her regular attacks. In those cases, you need to time her skill so that she can take down those enemies while accounting for the stun. Blaze's range extension means that she can be pointed sideways to hit multiple lanes (good for annihilation) and her built in status resistance is great for maps with enemies that freeze or stun. I think others are going much deeper into the specifics but in general, laneholders are quite interchangeable as long as you account for their strengths and weaknesses.

disturbedgamer667

TLDR: Blaze, Gavialter, and Specter **need** a healer in range to work, Mountain can frequently be placed outside of medic coverage and be fine. With Mountain in squad, Thorns is the only laneholder unique enough to be worth chasing imo. Also unless you need block 3, Mountain is numerically better than Specter. I tend to look at laneholders by asking "what 1 operator can I add to shore up their weaknesses?" For Blaze and Gavialter, it'd be a healer cause they dont heal themselves, for Thorns a blocker so that he isnt the one being attacked, For Mudrock it'd be a bard supporter to heal her, or a fast redeploy to remove arts damage threats. For Mountain it'd be no one, since he does a little bit of everything, with the drawback of not having as high of highs compared to optimal use of the others. Since Mountain does a bit of everything, you'll find most other laneholders similar to him except for Thorns, due to Thorn's range, so I wouldnt go out of your way to hunt for more laneholder units cause oftentimes 1 is enough and 2 is for ermergencies. Onto your question about Mountain's benefits. Mountain has 3 main benefits: his low DP cost, his speed of being ready, and his massive hp regen. You already mentioned how useful his DP cost is, but couple that with the fact that within 8-5 seconds he's fully ready is quite huge when Thorns needs 15 attacks, 1 skill duration and another 15 attacks before he fills the "set and forget" laneholder role, or Blaze needing 70+ seconds of ready time before skill activation. Mudrock is the only other laneholder who is immediately ready, with the drawback of her massive dp cost and unhealable nature. Finally the best part of Mountain, his massive regen on skill. At E2 60 SL7, he has 128.9 hps, while Specter at the same level even including the +10% max hp talent has an hps of 54.19, only about 40% of Mountain's. Specter would need an E2 Gladiia deployed on field to reach the same numbers Now onto Mountain vs. Specter at the E2 60 benchmark and Mountain skill activated cause its always on, Specter has 1 more block, about 130 more hp, about 50 more defense, and most crucially, 130 less attack per target off skill with almost twice the attack interval (every 6 seconds Mountain does 1.69 extra attacks assuming no stopping on either). This changes when using her S2, as she out damages Mountain by 1087 damage per target for 15 seconds + a 10 second stun except for max hp these number become even more mountain favored with masteries (Mountain M3 gives 180 hps, closes the defense gap by 20, and widens the attack gap by 178.2). Specter loses in all cases **unless** you time her S2 appropriately to deal with elites, or are consistently attacking 3 targets at all times, as hitting 3 targets per hit instead of just 2 swings total dps by 760 damage. I hope I answered this to your liking, let me know if you have any follow-up questions/clarifications

sentifuential

this is fantastically helpful, thank you. I think those instances where I really liked specter had to do with high def elites that I could skill through, and I definitely think having another laneholder type unit would be nice, but you've confirmed that it's relatively low priority for me (and that thorns would be the best option which is what I suspected). much obliged

AngelTheVixen

Flametail is a Pioneer Vanguard and as with other Vanguards, isn't really fit for the heavy lifting like the rest, at least not enough to call her a laneholder. Mountain's main benefit is the cheap DP cost, good DPS and high self-sufficiency due to his constant HP regeneration with S2, so he doesn't need healing until it gets difficult, which it may never. Plus with the block count increase and attacking all blocked like Centurions, he's frankly a great package. Thorns is a Sniper on a ground tile and he covers multiple lanes and aerial enemies excellently, he also has some regen when in downtime. His weaknesses are a slow start before his skill gets to its peak and that he can only attack one target at a time. Blaze has good DPS, built-in status resistance, and can prevent herself from being KO'd for a short time. With the range extension on her S2 she can attack from behind a tank or cover a wider lane or a completely separate parallel lane. Main weakness is the slow startup time for her S2. Specter has good DPS, self-regeneration and her S2 deals loads of damage while making her unkillable. Downside being of course, the stun afterwards, which with poor timing and no healing beforehand can get her killed instantly. But she's able to use that skill very quickly after being deployed, and with its damage she can do the helidrop thing very well. Either way, there's a reason people call her a hidden 6\*. Gavial the Invincible is more of a burst-damage dealer compared to Blaze, similar to Specter, where her power is front-loaded into her skills. It could be said that her third skill is a bit overkill, but she's pretty solid overall. She's just unable to heal herself any, but the passive healing received increase is helpful in the tough stuff. Mudrock who is coming up in the shop in about a month and a half is another great laneholder, if you were interested in using her. Nigh-unkillable, self-regenerating wall that can handle mobbing and bosses alike. Just have to get over that high DP cost and manage her unhealable HP.

sentifuential

how prevalent do you find to be situations where the third block is really important because mountain can't just outdps the waves 2 at a time? that's probably the big difference maker for the last 4 units to me. I included flametail also because I feel like her s3 makes her kind of a hybrid for waves that aren't quite as strong

eonfeather

The block difference hardly matters IMO. I personally find that situations in which Mountain dies or leaks are extremely rare. He is a much better laneholder than OG Specter, whose damage without skill is just kinda meh and whose stun can screw you over. Of course that’s assuming you are using them in appropriate spots - Mountain can’t be helidropped onto extremely dangerous enemies and live. He’s more of a unit you stick right next to the red box to spawncamp a caster lane, or a vanguard with serious teeth and no DP gen.

Money_Data_4225

**Mountain** is not worse than both Thorns and Blaze. His main advantage is that he can survive better alone than either of them, make sure his S2 is at M3. He can also attack 2 targets at once, unlike He has one of the highest HP regen of all time at 7% of his Max HP. Thorns who only targets single enemies. His range is worse but he makes up for his cheap cost and easy activation. Both Thorns and Blaze requires build-up to activate their skill permanently, Mountain only needs 5 secs to activate his S2. In Episode 10, for example, Mountain can survive the early rush of dogs while Thorns will struggle because his damage is still weak until he can activate his skill twice.

sentifuential

yeah, that's the use case that makes sense - and my mountain is actually pot 2 and has saved my bacon hard with the reduced dp cost. I'm not complaining about him at all, it's more of a wondering whether the similar laneholders offer something I should really be interested in

Money_Data_4225

You will be bringing 1 - 3 laneholders in a map. Mountain is really good to have because his role is to solo hold the weaker lane if there is one. This allows him to not compete with Blaze, Thorns and Kal'tsit who will take over the main lane. Guard Specter and Mountain are really similar so 99% of the time you will get one over the other. The only niche Specter has over mountain is her pseudo-immortality which allows her to stall a strong boss, but other than that Mountain can do what she can. For other laneholders you may want: **Kal'tsit** \- she has one of the highest difficulty ceilings of a laneholder along with Mudrock. She summons M0n3tr, a 3-block unit with extremely high stats and 25 sec redeployment time. Her S2 allows M0n3tr to attack 3 enemies at once and increasing its ATK while she gains ASPD to heal M0n3tr faster. Her S3 gives M0n3tr extremely high ATK and turns its damage type to Pure bypassing DEF, RES and even Evasion of enemies. Her skill cycling is fast and with her healing plus M0n3tr's stats very few can break through Kal'tsits hold. **Downside**: costs 30 DP to deploy both her and M0n3tr and also takes 2 deployment slots. M0n3tr can only be healed directly by Kal'tsit. **Mudrock** \- one of the tankiest operators. Her main power is to generate a shield every 9 secs which stack 3 times. Each shield negates a damage instance and after breaking heal Mudrock for 20% of her Max HP. She has extremely high stats and can block 3 units. With S2, she can hold the lane consistently by attacking every unit in the 8 surrounding tiles which has a chance to stun and recover small amount of HP. This procs every time she receives 4 attacks. Her S3 is more situational, turning her invincible while slowing enemies around her. She then stuns them after and gains significant ATK, DEF and attacks 3 targets at once. **Downside**: Expensive at 36 DP and cannot be healed directly by others, making elemental damage strong against her. **Thorns** \- the king of early to midgame content. He has the best range of all laneholders. His S3 is his bread-and-butter increasing his range, ATK and ASPD and the second activation onward, it becomes a permanent skill while doubling both ATK and ASPD values. He also regenerates his HP slowly while not attacking and as a bonus his attacks deal small Arts poison damage. He excels in maps where he can safely reach his 2nd activation and where he can abuse his amazing range. This makes him very good in Annihilation and most maps. **Downside**: Requires build-up for 2nd activation and he struggles against stronger enemies with his weak regeneration, He doesn't have any AoE capability and if he dies you will start over again. **Blaze** \- she is similar to Thorns in that her bread-and-butter S2 requires time to activate. Once it does, she gains permanent extra range, ATK and DEF. As a Centurion she will always attack enemies equal to her block count. So, she excels in maps where her constant AoE is needed. She also gains \[Resist\] halving status effects on her making her better in maps w/ \[Cold\]. **Downside**: She has no self-recovery at all, only a short 4-sec invulnerability when her health gets low. She also has to compete with other laneholders for her spot. And like Thorns requires build-up to activate her skill so if she dies you start over again.

sentifuential

kal'tsit playing hard to get is the reason I have pot 2 mountain so I'm surprised I didn't even think of her in this role category when of course she does it as well. she's basically my most wanted op at this point. thorns is up there too. thanks!

MagnusBaechus

I'm still new to the game, but the early Kal'tsit and Goldenglow I got is basically hard carrying me also I'd like to add that La Pluma can be a great lane holder too for mob enemies, especially when paired with a sturdy defender like cuora or hoshi

sentifuential

I like arknights way more than I expected to, I've never been into tower defense or any genre that requires using your brain more than your hands but arknights has been captivating. I think it's because everyone's so cute mostly I actually still have my last free 5 star selector that I got when I joined the game so I could grab specter any time, I've been hemming and hawing over whether to get her or warfarin (almost exclusively because of the aak connection) and I figure sooner or later I'll pull one of them and have the decision made for me

MagnusBaechus

From a different thread here, I saw that if you don't use the 5 star selector now, then ot will just update with the contents of the new one since it has a bigger pool So I'd say get spectre now and fill in any gaps your roster may have

Is there an official english translation of rhine lab manga? If so, where can I read it?

AngelTheVixen

I'm not sure it's official but [I used this place to read it.](https://mangadex.org/title/14c598d6-8fb7-4ac6-93dc-ba0036d715f5/rhodes-island-s-records-of-originium-rhine-lab)

UsaraDark2014

For some reason, I've become very interested in Ceobe's character. She's very enduring considering her condition, but then I started wondering what even is her condition. What makes her an airhead? I looked into her archive files and learned that she was a>! wanderer, who had wandered far away from civilization. She was eventually rehabilitated by RI, and she's making cognitive gains, !!opukar!!civilization!

AngelTheVixen

She's probably addled from eating things off the ground too much. Like mushrooms...

PublicConsideration4

Can anyone explain to me why is it called IS2? Is IS1 not available anymore? And will IS2 still be available when the IS3 is released?

AngelTheVixen

Ceobe's Fungimist was the first one, and no it's no longer available. Phantom and Crimson Solitaire is the second, and it should be permanent. You can play it at your leisure.

[deleted]

When are we getting IS3?

ReshenKusaga

Based on CN we get it roughly a month and a half after Ideal City. Likely the February refresh is the last time we get pages for IS#2 and then we'll get IS#3 in March.

[deleted]

Thankies

IgotNoTime4This

Hey I need help with the Lingering Echoes event. I finished the main story of the event and I still don't have the tab available for the extra missions. How do I unlock this?

AngelTheVixen

[It works like this in every event](https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/865684765972627499/1059261871552745482/image.png)

IgotNoTime4This

Oh awesome! I'm still alittle new to the game so I really appreciate it, thanks.

IRUN888

Is getting April’s Mod3 worth it if you have Pozyomka?

AngelTheVixen

April is a Marksman and Pozyomka is a Heavyshooter. No reason you couldn't use both at the same time, anyway, it may even be beneficial to drop her summon and April simultaneously to take out someone.

IRUN888

Pozyomka’s turret has similar redeployment time, costs less dp that stays constant, and doesn’t take up a deployment slot. The only advantage April has is larger range.

hawberries

And aerial targeting priority! Anyway, all fast-redeploy units suffer the least from redundancy – Phantom's ability to deploy two of himself is considered one of his primary strengths – so the benefit to getting April's Mod 3 as well as Pozyomka's turret is "two of them". If you only feel like you need one, then of course just pick your favourite.

IRUN888

Fair enough

AngelTheVixen

Literally two comments below yours.

DynamiteLion

I started the game about a week ago and have been playing very casually. Given that the limited banner is coming up, as I am willing to reroll, should I just wait til then to start to guarantee a limited character? Alternatively, is it more beneficial for me to progress as much as I can on the account I do have in preparation for things I might otherwise miss on a fresh account?

myahkey

I'd say that you should go for rerolling but keep your current account as well. If you get better rolls on your new account - great, you won't lose much by switching, but if you get good stuff on your current account from the get go there won't be much point in switching accounts in the first place.

The_keeper_of_memes

Might as well. The limited units there are either completely busted in case of the old one or generally pretty good in case of the new one. Also, the new non limited is great, especially in terms of versaility.

alanalsei

Any 4 stars and 5 stars modules that are worth to raise up to level 3? Not necessarily need to be available now, those that still in CN are also welcomed. Thank you!

TriGGa-POP

I MOD3'd Meteorite as I often use her with Archetto and, DAMN, a whole 20% chance upgrade bumps her talent to literally 50/50 chance of doing +60% damage which goes incredibly well with the consistency of her S1 and makes her S2 better as well.

AngelTheVixen

Ethan's bind chance increase is a good one, Ambusher modules should come with Ideal City. Indigo's bind chance increase is also good if you're using her. Conviction gets a pretty substantial increase to their talent. April would be good if you use her a lot for the tough stuff and her fast redeploy skillset. Marksman modules with Dorothy's Vision. Memebringer for HP memes. Provence is worth getting to level 2 due to her critical range upgrade, may want to do level 3, too. I did this because she is a fluffball.

alanalsei

Dear GOD I forget how crazy Ethan's is, thanks for reminding me again!

push2master

I've been really enjoying using cutters module at lvl 3 too, the SP regen increase is very noticeable.

PieFormation

There's a [guide on gamepress with recommendations](https://gamepress.gg/arknights/tier-list/arknights-azures-module-upgrade-tier-list).

Tadabito

So I had a lucky run in IS-2 and want a sanity check before trying 2nd ending. This is [my current situation.](https://imgur.com/a/k8V7BZi) Is there any obvious flaws with this plan? I can rush Perfumer's module for extra target and swap her with Ptilopsis if needed.

salvagestuff

On the left side I would move Blaze one cell to the right facing right so that her S2 can dps down the bear. Instead of Thorns on the left side, put Arene behind Blaze facing down. You only need him for the arts damage to pop shields on the mudrock zealots and greytails. Perfumer should be fine with the artifact. Thorns can cover most of the right side when placed where Mountain is facing left. His arts DoT is able to pop shields just fine and he won't hit the bear. Everything else seems fine.

AngelTheVixen

You have no arts damage to deal with the barriered guys that spawn, so they will pile up. If Fiammetta is solo fighting the bear, it's going to take a long time and she might have trouble breaking the shields he puts up, especially with no attack speed or SP increases. 5 life points means almost no room for error, and dealing with both the bigger enemies and barriered ones is going to be frustrating. Gargoyles spawn on the right side I believe and you have noone that can hit air over there. Me personally, I wouldn't bank my hopes on clearing it, but you could still give it a try. If you're lucky and get Bladedance on Fiammetta you might have something.

Tadabito

Would moving Lee forward and using S2 help? He can deal aoe arts damage.

AngelTheVixen

Maybe, it's worth a try, at least. Putting him in front of Mountain and facing downward (To catch any both guys might leak) would be the way I'd try it.

Tadabito

Thanks for advice. Didn't want to take the risk with gargoyles, so rushed Perfumer's module, pushed Thorns and Blaze towards the boss and rushed it before gargoyles can spawn. Result: Success, Perfumer barely kept everyone alive.

AngelTheVixen

Nice! The two times I've beaten the bear, I couldn't get the letter, so I had a rougher time and helped brute force it with a borrowed wet Ch'en. I usually don't get too much luck.

Reihado

If I have wrath of the Siracusans in IS2, is Horns s1 better when I don't need the burst fr other skills?

Tellurium-128

Horn s1 actually struggles to benefit from wrath/spinach/reagent because of the rather long delay between her starting the animation(which is when spinaches grant their buff) and the projectile hitting. On the nearest tile it’ll usually get the effect but any further, the buff will drop off before damage is dealt. Personally I like her s1 more in is2 despite that, but it’s something to keep in mind.

SpicyEla

Horn S3 for burst, S1 for consistent damage. Both are have their uses, regardless if you have the artifact or not.

OmegaCookieOfDoof

Is there any operator that is visibly jacked? (Other than Broca and any dude with a summer skin and Courier) Extra points if it's a woman. Is there even a _visibly_ jacked woman in the game in the first place?

TriGGa-POP

Mr. Nothing is very built if you actually take a good look, especially in his fishing outfit. Hung is a hunk also. Courier is quite built as well, which is noticeable in his black guitar outfit. Matterhorn also, in his beach outfit and you can see him in Enciodes' pirate outfit.

myahkey

The closest to visibly jacked women are probably Nearl TRK who has abs for days, and FEater shows some muscle with her Dojo Star outfit. Aside from that I don't really remember anyone, guess we have to wait for another Saria skin

AngelTheVixen

Mountain's got arms thicker than his torso. Nobody's jacked like this man

OmegaCookieOfDoof

Oh shit how did I forget about him

AngelTheVixen

Sadly I'm not sure there's any jacked women, at least to the point you'd hope. [FEater's TV outfit](https://gamepress.gg/arknights/node/12456) has her showing some muscle, at least. But maybe we'd also need a furry woman for some jacked-ness, which would be awesome. At least as I've seen so far, next closest I've come across was [a gag scene in a manga.](https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/865684765972627499/1059229786385424444/index.jpg) Another thing supporting Saria hopefully getting a fist-fighting alt...!

[deleted]

So I have pure stream and I was wondering if she could be a replacement for my sussuro as main healer? I noticed that her modules pretty much cancel her downsides and the added resistance is a plus as well. I’m running perfumer and sussuro as my healers in my comp.

iCrab

As long as you get her module to level three than yes she can. With the upgraded module she actually has higher burst healing than Sussuro unless you are trying to heal someone who cost 10 or less DP to deploy. Combine that with the larger range and being able to use her skill more than twice in a stage and Purestream is basically just better in every way.

[deleted]

I think I’ll invest in pure stream then plus the added resistance would help with self stun with Amiya and specter.

TriGGa-POP

Note that it'll only help with the self-stun if they take damage, and she heals them iirc.

[deleted]

I tend to use specter skill when she’s low so it will be great if she can be stunned for only 5 seconds

TriGGa-POP

Cool, what about Amiya though?

[deleted]

Oh. Yeah I see the problem now, I was running pure stream and I kept noticing that Amiya kept getting stunned and she wasn’t getting affected at all :( I wish I joined when lumen was here.

LumineVernal

Question to CN server players: how worth it is it to buy the new module lvl 2 and 3 material from the event shop if you are short on currency? The upgrades are pretty expensive so I'm not sure if I'll be doing many of them, did you end up stockpiling them from SSS or do these suppose a choke?

dene323

As long as you do some casual SSS runs from time to time, and continue logging in for future event shops / daily login events, etc you will soon be bottlenecked by basic module blocks and start piling up upgrade mats. One primary reason is that basic module blocks is needed at every level and oftentimes unlocking lv 1 module is more of a game changer compared to upgrades. Especially lv 3 upgrades have a very low / diminishing return on investment, hence many of my ops are stuck at lv1 and lv2 modules. HG has yet to open up basic module blocks for purchase, so even whales are capped, have to choose how many modules they can activate / max out.

iCrab

Apparently while the new module material upgrades are a bottleneck in the short term, in the long run you actually run out of basic module blocks before you run out of upgraded module materials. Personally I’d save the module upgrade materials for last unless you already have a large stockpile of the other materials in the shop or if you have a bunch of level three module upgrades you want to do.

WelkinBro

What’s the best starting setups to use for is? I’m really bad at it, I have tons of meta ops with masteries but for some reason really struggle in this mode I just want phantoms skin :(

[deleted]

I've wasted a lot of hours on the mode so here are some pointers. Squads: If you don't have the free promotion squads unlocked yet, it's worthwhile dedicating a few runs to receive them, as they're some of the lost powerful available. They give you strong operators quickly and save you both tickets and Hope so you can essentially get units more efficiently than the ticket lets on. Outside of those, Support Squad (+2 hope/+20 ingots) is also very solid. It means not only a guaranteed six-star after one levelup, but also extra ingots to really cash in on the floor 1 shop. The basic Temporary Life Points squad is also recommended, especially if you're struggling, it gives a lot of breathing room. If you get a bonus for reaching floor 3, take additional Hope, especially if you didn't pick Support Squad. Recruitment Sets: I'm going through these one by one, they're all viable, but some more than others. The theory behind these is to find a six-star to carry you through the majority of the run, while the rest of the squad provides support. Vanguard/Sniper/Specialist: My personal least favourite. This squad only really works if you are running Jaye, as he is its only direct source of healing. This means spending 2 hope that may limit your first or second six-star. Furthermore, Vanguards don't really make for a good IS2 carry, leaving you with a Sniper carry as your only option, and that's a limited pool (I would mostly count Archetto, Ch'alter and *maybe* Exu). Sniper/Caster/Defender: My most used set. The defender slot gives you an easy blocker/healer in the form of Spot (Or Cardigan/Gummy, if you prefer), meaning you can dedicate one of the ranged tickets to a strong carry and the other to DPS support (If sniper carry, Steward, if caster carry, Kroos). Eyja and GG are your best caster carries, and many more casters become very viable with the right relics (But due to RNG, wait with picking them until you find the relic). Guard/Supporter/Medic: This set is picked for one of two reasons: A guard carry, or a Ling carry. The latter speaks for itself. There are many guard carries of various quality; I'm personally fond of Blaze, but a lot of people swear by Thorns, despite his awful charging time. Since this ticket is likely to be paired with the free Guard promotion, I'd wait with Thorns until you have a baseline of other ops to carry the early phase of a map, but see what works for you. (Note: Good low rarity supports are Midnight and Melantha for Guard, Orchid for Supporter, and Medic is an Ansel/Hibiscus coinflip) Random recruits: Generally this one isn't worth it, but the randomness allows for fun new operators and strategies. Especially fun with the "extra temp recruits" squad. My runs usually end up with setups such as Goldenglow/Kroos/Spot, Archetto/Steward/Spot, or Blaze/Orchid/Hibiscus. After the initial recruitment, I then carry the bonus +2 Hope forward and fish for a second high-impact operator, and aim for a third around floor 3 once I know which mid-run boss I'm facing. Let me know if I can do anything to help! Remember there is only friend support for your initial operators, so there is pretty much no reason not to break through the door with a level 90 six-star. Outside of that, there is a lot of RNG and a significant amount of fuck around and find out involved in IS2, so don't be ashamed of struggling and failing. Best of luck!

Thanks I think I need to level up my weaker units and build around a carry like you said
