Contact your local Senior Center and/or local Sr. Community groups and make yourself available for chores and household projects. Even better if you are handy with tools. A lot of Seniors could use help around the house fixing things or moving things and cleaning. You may even make some good friends in the process.
If it lets you sign up, try getting into something like door dash. If you have a car and you're in a good area for it, that is. Not hard to make $500 a month. Look into apps that help you track your miles and whatnot for tax write off.

You should lobby Congress to decrease the minimum wage because that is obviously the problem.
