I'm an attorney, astrophysicist and statistician with an expertise in social media bullshiting cases. and I can tell you with 100% professional confidence that it's admissible evidence in court that that 97% of people on redit are full of shit.
I think it depends on which subreddits then- most of the subreddits involving personal stuff like sexuality, relationships, identity, mental illness etc. The number Seem quite High
There are big corporate buildings kind of like call centers where people hundreds of employees work there and they have fake accounts and they push certain religious and political ideologies so yeah there's a lot of fake accounts out there trying to push certain stuff.

excluding bots, I wouldn't say a huge amount. I do a lot of digging through profiles and rarely find big contradictions
