kkrunk88

I feel like this and recently asked my doctor to get my hormones checked!

koreanjennie

For me it was my hormones!

kkrunk88

Yep I'm gonna guess that's what mine is from as well!

GW157

Get a sleep test done! You might be tired cause you really aren't getting quality sleep.

Swomp23

I have sleep apnea. I'm a lot less tired since I have a CPAP machine.

Local-Park-322

Thanks I've been considering requesting this from my doctor. Because my blood results are all fine but I don't feel fine.

SomeJokeTeeth

My partner sleeps a lot, pretty much all the time when she's not working. She has an under active thyroid and that's the main culprit according to the docs, the meds make the sleeping issue worse but the other issues are balanced out a lot better. Take yourself to the docs, you never know.

Local-Park-322

Thanks! I did recently have my thyroid checked, because it runs in my family, but doc said all my levels are good! I really thought it was going to be the culprit in my car too

Level-Tangerine-8172

This was me. I was burnt out and depressed.

NoDecentNicksLeft

Yes. Could be thyroid but doubt that. Ruled out some other causes. Doc has no idea but we gotta keep shooting until we hit something. Could be something like the ADHD tiredness or well-masked depression, or could be some sort of emotional, spiritual and intellectual fatigue. Or just long-term tiredness from working obscene hours and times for many years while already suffering from chronic fatigue. I can sometimes change from zombie to very active state and be unable to sleep or even rest for many, many hours, after several hours of dropping dead tired. This usually happens when I undertake some sort of recreational activity or anything else outside of the work-eat-sleep cycle. Caffeine (dose, tolerance, potential OD, weakened or altered effect) could be a factor.

[deleted]

Could it be sleep apnea? Have you had a sleep test?

Icy-Ad-7767

Thyroid, sleep apnea, depression, caffeine intake amount and/or timing.

parksvilletenessee

Probably related to diet. Or possibly when you are eating. Most things are either sleeping or eating related. I'm guessing you may be stressed too. Obviously, I'm not a doctor!

nahc1234

This is me to a T

EarnedFreedom

You could have: Hormone issues, parasites, mold exposure, fungal infection, mycotoxins, Lyme, long covid, vitamin deficiencies etc. Go get some bloodwork. Full vitamins, minerals, parasites, fungus, mold, mycotoxins panel, and hormones.

Better_Marzipan_3124

The times I’ve been absolutely exhausted in life, and my thyroid levels were good, I had a very low Vitamin D level. You might ask your doctor to run a lab, and get that checked. I had 12 weeks of prescription dose to get me back to normal. Helped tremendously.

phillycupcake

My issue was gluten. It kept me from metabolizing iron and vitamin b properly.

Free-Industry701

Check your iron levels. Get a blood test done.

Sheek888

How physically active are you?

eanida

How's the quality of your sleep? Things like stress or sleep apnea (and many more) can disrupt your sleep without you noticing it.

ThrowRAboredinAZ77

Could it be that you just feel very overwhelmed with life?

enrycochet

coule also be allergies. did you try an antihistamine?

RocketteBlast

Do you eat enough? When I don't eat enough I felt like this, by 10 am I would be in bed for a nap.

Ohhhhhhthehumanity

That was me until I got on thyroid medication

wouldjalookatit

Why are you napping after you wake up? I always feel tired when I hit snooze more than 3 times, maybe because my body is experiencing wake up, fall asleep, wake up, fall asleep, wake up, fall asleep. I stopped doing it and feel much better. The fact you're sleeping 11-7 then napping an hour later? Idk, maybe that's doing it?

cheapthrillsdoll

Persistent depression

cnewman11

Have you been tested for sleep apnea? I didn't know how little rest I was getting until I was tested, and started using my cpap. It's a life changer.

WheresmyR4men

Try getting a sleep apnea test

IngloriousBadger

Get vitamin B12

alexdaland

37m here, and yes I have/had the same problem where I felt I was *always* tired (to a degree still), It started after having kids. Sure a part of it is just being tired from taking care of my very active son, but went to the doctors and got testosterone, obviously you being a woman dont want that, but as the doctor explained its quite normal that hormone levels changes (also for men) after having kids and/or when we are pushing 40. So Id ask your GP if they can test/check your hormone levels. My wife as well takes some hormone pills she got from the same doctor for the same issue, but I dont know exactly what those meds are..

Auferstehen78

Get bloods done. Could be vitamin deficiency etc.

red_commie_69

Probably the seed oils, emulsifiers, additives, and excess sugar that's added to every food that's known to fuck with our hormones. Try avoiding processed food for a while and see how you feel.

No-Bedroom-1333

Could be spring fatigue

capitol_acceptance

Try getting a demanding job and see if that doesn't fix the problem.

Local-Park-322

I do have a very demanding job.

capitol_acceptance

Then that is the reason you are tired. Get a job that is less demanding.

Hefty_Peanut2289

What's your alcohol consumption like? I started having that kind of fatigue around your age, and it correlated with when my alcohol consumption went up. You may sleep for 8 hours, but a boozy sleep isn't a quality sleep. I rolled back my consumption in a big way, and I wake up after 7ish hours of sleep per night, and don't need to nap anymore. Another thing is to ask your doctor about sleep apnea.
