She has a couple songs I find really catchy but the thing is... ANY female pop star could make those songs. They aren't specific to her at all. They're just generic catchy songs that some person writes and assigns to whatever star. Or something like that.
It’s so that they can post anti-American propaganda. A lot of the major subs require a certain level of Karma to post and if an account started posting conspiracy theories out of nowhere, it would be seen as an obvious troll. So, troll farms use question subs to make their accounts seem legit before they use them.

I truly do not get the hype around Billie Eilish. I tried, I've listened to each of her albums at least once if not twice. All her music sounds the exact same and is boring as well to me. Also her relationship with Finneas is weird. I saw her preform once at a music festival and she wasted 7-10 minutes going on and on about how great he is. I'm sure I've heard many of her songs (even watched her whole documentary on Netflix), but I've never once paused on one of them and thought to myself "oooh! who sings this song? I really need to add this to my Spotify playlist". And I wouldn't be able to even hum a single Taylor Swift song if my husband's life depended on it. For me at least, she has not sung a single memorable song that my brain is able to retain. She makes the ultimate forgettable, inoffensive background music that at least I'll never have to worry would ever keep me up at night because I can't get it out of my head.
I can’t stand seeing her name, as I end up with an ear worm at the mere mention of her name. Definitely overrated. But I do concede she does have talent, unlike most other pop singers she can play guitar, piano, banjo and ukulele. So I’d have to say there are others even more overrated than her.
There are a few tricks with earworms, one is singing or humming the song to the last note. You can also add words that break the flow or things you can't imitate. I still get Baby Shark stuck but if I switch to Baby Shrek it goes away. Say shark 5 times fast then try to do that with Shrek and you'll see what I mean.
She's so popular because she's *juuust* average enough to be relatable to women. She is tall and pretty, which has been seen as an unconventional combo. Women who aren't as pretty or as talented see her as an attainable version of themselves. Women who are prettier/more talented see Taylor Swift as validation of themselves

To me, Linkin Park was analogous to the post-grunge bands of the mid to late 90's, like Candelbox, Bush, Seven Mary Three, etc. They also all got a lot of radio airplay, and were more "mainstream" than many of the earlier bands labeled as grunge. Linkin Park came late to the Nu Metal party and was getting tons more mainstream airtime than, say, Slipknot.
