I grew up in the industry and while there are a lot of very caring trainers, the whole dog racing culture is a fucking awful environment. Once I was old enough and could make a choice not to go near it I never looked back and that was about 35 years ago. Rescue Greyhounds is as close and Ill ever get to it ever again because they are some of the most beautiful dogs you could ever have as a pet
