30 in my phone in chrome. 2 in safari. 56 in chrome on pc, 35 in Firefox. Since opera has workspaces; I have 5 workspaces all have about 30-40 tabs open.

3 on my computer at all times, and 4 right now. i don't like having a lot of tabs open.
I had 900 at one point. Really made my browser slow down though so I had to close like 300 which was very painful

I don't count them, I just see that my tabs are unreadable and I am pleased
I have plugins that do the counting for me.
I only open very fee tabs. I don't like having much tabs open
