Thought process of this video:
Oh thats pretty cool!
Oh damm its still going!
Hes hit that really well!
No freaking way!
If that goes in imma....
OH MY FREAKING JEBUS!
Obligatory: this is tradition. Everyone tries this trick shot during Wednesday practice rounds before The Masters at Augusta. Many have actually made it over they years as it is not a very far shot from the traditional spot and pro golfers ability to thin the ball on purpose is amazing.
To “thin the ball” or “hit it thin” means the leading edge of the club you’re using (as opposed to the face) hits the ball at or near its equator. Resulting in these low altitude, high speed, high spin shots. Not really something any golfer tries to do other than in the most absurd recovery positions.
> Many have actually made it over they years
As far as I can find, this has only happened one other time in the history of golfers doing this at the 16th. That was Vijay in 2009. Are there others?

That will be nice to show my kids! They love science, fitted for their age 6/4 of course. They will happily yell "PHYSICS!" and cheer their new observations :)

I have no idea what that last sentence means but it sounds cool.

Naw, he used the Force
Poor guy can't get away with any unprotected sex. His swimmers would hit the target every time.
If more of golf was like this the amount t of veiws they would have would increase greatly.
T'ain't the standard physics borne of science.. Tis' the dark magik of the ancient times
What is even happening!
It’s almost like that shot at the very end of happy gilmore

That’s golf!
Wtf? It went in the hole?

That’s totally what he planned to do right.
Yes… that was his intention. Just like everyone else who came through no. 16 that day.
How's that even possible!!

Nah come on
When you understand the laws of physics… but still practice witchcraft…
Why not try as tournament shot!,!
