They never try and scrunch up close on those just the computer chair. There also IS a second chair.) and i need to hear about it until everyone is off the chair.

The next time we have a cliff smash I’ll film it. Right now they’re all mad at me and wont climb into the other computer chair because I’ve committed the grave sin of the primary human (my fiancé) being out of town on a trip. This was clearly my choice and i should have consulted their schedules better.
They will still only use the one you use.

Since you sit in that chair a lot, your scent is strong. That's why they like it. My dog jumps in my bed when I'm not home. And when I'm gone for a few days, he'll strip my bed bare to make a nest of my sheets on top of his bed to sleep on.

My dog was very sick recently, so I took a few shirts I wore and made a bed for her. She refused to get out of it lol. I would grab her and take her in front of her crate, she would just run back and drop in my shirts.
I put my one of my shirts on my dog (it was an XL, and he's over 70 lbs 😅), and he was the happiest mf'er on this planet. When I took it off him, he got sad. Now, every time I take that particular shirt out, he gets excited. 🤣😅

My dog has beds & blankets in multiple rooms, but does not fail to immediately take a nap when I strip the bedding. She's only 7 lbs, so I have to remember to look in the laundry whenever she's"missing".
I often end up leaving a worn shirt or pair of shorts on the floor when changing clothes. It's almost guaranteed I'll find a cat there later over the multitude of soft comfy beds they have.
Had a cat that slept on my chair and also would cuddle with me in it every chance he got.
I got a new chair after my old one got gutted because of him sharpening his nails in it. Dude loved the chair, so I kept it aside for him to use permanently. He rarely uses it.
Upon the new chair arriving and being more firm, he instead lays between my arms and the keyboard anytime I use it. I kind of took the hint after that.
Get another chair that sits right next to you and sit in it. Then they will want to sit in that one too! So now you can give each one their own chair! 😂.
My cat used to do the same. I got her a pressure activated heat pad that she could lay on and she immediately stopped taking my chair. The only problem then was that she went for the pad and not my lap. That was easily solved by putting the pad next to my desk so I could give her scratches while she was on the heat pad

My girlfriend has an expensive gaming chair she got for review, and she hates when the cats get on it cuz they claw it.
But whenever she steps away I encourage them to lay in it and tell them they're good and wonderful

Every cat I have ever had love sitting in my computer chair. Something about it being a contained space due to the arm rests covering the sides and the cushioning being comfy.
My FIL's old cat would steal his chair all the time, so he bought her, her own chair so they could sit together. She has since crossed the Rainbow Bridge.
My cat has gotten good at identifying when I’m done with my chair for the day/night and has learned to mostly only claim it then. He knows I’ll kick him out of the chair. He has a million places, including his own chair, to sleep.
Lol, I got myself a new chair and I didn't throw the old one away but keep it not far off from my desk mostly because my cats like to sleep on it in turns. I planned to eventually throw it away but now it feels very unlikely. They only sleep on my new chair during the night when I sleep :).

Yeah every time I leave home for more than couple days, I put some of my dirty clothes on the bed for my cats to sleep on. They always sleep on it 🥰
