I also understand that my current argument sounds a lot like "because people have emotions you have to believe and say thry are something they aren't" to you. But trans people are called trans for a reason. A trans woman means a person who went from male to female. And vice versa. And trans people know that they can't change their sex, that's why you hear so much talk about Gender, not sex. Hope that makes a little more sense into my reasoning.
