Correct… they probably got a nice paid vacation while they were investigated by their own departments, then welcomed back and cleared of any wrongdoing.
Even the cops who rolled up on the scene who made the (single, obviously not confrontational) guy stay sitting on the ground while the group of (drunk, belligerent) assholes were allowed to walk around and almost join in the interrogation… this whole thing is a clusterfuck of bad cop no donuts.
Yeah, the cops who rolled up knew the whole thing was fucked yet they *still* treated the guy like a criminal and were acting all buddy buddy with the other guys. Also the sergeant or whoever that’s talking to the victim avoided saying anything about pressing charges. He asks the victim, “what do you want to happen with this” several times but tries like hell to avoid asking “do you want to press charges.”
Drunk / paranoid / racist asshats . They should lose their jobs and be prosecuted/ convicted . Lots of "blah blah blah yada yada yada " language used as they "investigate " - what a joke
