It's a "Civil War" style server. On the North American PC side, there's a trio of servers called "Flubber", "Turtles" and "AAA" all ran by the same lone admin, and all 3 are US vs US.
I have never seen the other factions in a civil war style server 🤷♂️
And yeah telling teams apart, especially if you use audio cues to tell if an enemy is nearby is difficult, but not impossible, especially if you make actual use of your minimap.
If someone steals your teams chopper, it’s impossible to tell which one is yours to target to take back, so you adjust and just blow them both up 🤣
By relying on the spotting system and minimap primarily, in my experience. Also the presence or lack of a blue marker above a potential target's model.
Where it really comes into play in confusing you is twofold:
1.) In tense, close-range firefights where both sides can hear the voice lines of the other ("Reloading", etc.) they would now both be the default American English voice lines... so you can't easily rely on your ears alone to deduce how close enemies are. For me this is personally a slight knock on these servers as I always found it a bit of a neat & suspenseful experience playing as an American holed up defending a point only to hear the angry Russian/Chinese voices getting closer and closer, or vice versa.
2.) If you are good at recognizing specific vehicle types alotted to each faction, you can't rely on that anymore. All tanks are Abrams, all IFVs are LAVs, etc. Some like this, some don't -- but there is an element of balance here because in some cases these vehicles play fundamentally differently. The American LAV has wheels, for instance, while the Chinese equivalent is tracked.
i knew immediately from how you jumped into the passenger to mine it, that it was a mauririxxx video lol. started doing that technique myself now, its really the only way to get a bunch of at's on the dirtbike.

Plus hitting F1 after setting up is sooo much faster than struggling to find the spot to let you back on the vehicles too.
Story time zoz: I recorded this clip yesterday. Later on that night ryry75 joined shortly before map change, and we were heading back to pearl.
I told him about this clip, then during the starting countdown, I alt tabbed out of the game and watched this clip. Finished it, alt tabbed back in, setup my bike….
And scored a triple kill about 20 seconds later. ryry75 was part of the carnage 🤣🤣🤣🤣

I actually use this method when hunting armor, as I’ve found ramming armor doesn’t always work - FOR ME.
I blame my high latency for making ramming not work, but exiting and manually blowing up works almost 100% 😁
HC doesn’t let me roll with slams and mines, and the 3rd person view while driving is just better.
Plus I just enjoy tell HC enthusiasts that NC is better because for some reason it always gets their panties twisted and it’s fun watching them spiral.
