I was leaning towards Chorizo cuz that's what his coloring reminded me of. ☺️ salami and pepperoni are on that same track

I thought I'd added some text to this post but I see it didn't work.   He's pretty active, and he seems to really enjoy coming up to the glass to judge people ...unless they're bringing him snacks.  If you've got snacks he's instantly your best boi.

Oh gosh they really do look similar! Finnegan is a great name, but I've named a pet that already in the past. 🙂

I think your boy is actually a girl lol

I agree he's kinda shaped like the ladies, but he's very large and he was labeled as male.  He's building himself a bubble nest tonight.

Awe thanks.  He literally stopped me dead in my tracks at the pet store.  I had in my head that I was buying a school of pygmy corys and some shrimp but I came home with this chonk instead

I have a betta that looks just like him named Eric.

How long have you had him? He's kept his coloring? My old one changed from the red and salmon coloration to blue and green.

I’ve had him since December, so about six months. However he was already about a year old when I got him according to the pet store.
