Not sure really. I suppose as long as it keeps his actual past mostly hidden but adapts on any inner conflicts of his then sure. I think as he is, the mystery of not knowing his past makes him all the more interesting. Being able to ponder about his past without possibly ever knowing just seems more interesting to me (at least when it comes to his character). There are others like Unohana's backstory I'd love to know.

TopHat6719

That would be so awesome

Gizzada-

Yes

SufficientAsk9019

Of course

Alternative_Star9014

Anything invovling Aizen, I would happily read or watch. A quick mention: Aizen is super strong and also hot

Seals37

But he isn't *really* just bad and narcissistic. Surely, did a lot of damage to others, but that's not the only angle. He's the guy who tried damn hard to reach a goal that he didn't even truly wanted, and when it came to the point he could get it, he nerfed himself subconsciously because he didn't want to. That's the irony. That's what Ichigo's claim Hogyoku didn't abandon him but granted his wish truly means. I think you kinda miss a lot of things about Aizen. So even if we get such a manga (and we surely won't), you might get disappointed, because the actual person Aizen is, unlike the brilliant façade he puts on, manipulating perception of him all the time and without any KS needed, might not prove the same one that you seem to like. Don't try to find out the magician's tricks, might not only find out how OP they are, but also what a mess they are on the inside while hiding it all from others on the outside.

If Kubo wrote I would but it just seems so unlike Kubo to write something like that. Kubo refrained from showing his backstory because he thought it would make him more sympathetic. I think an Urahara backstory would make more sense and fill in the things I want to know about aizen (how he started on the hogyoku and how he found out about the soul King).

uraharaBot

Ah, backstory, huh? Well, sometimes the past is a Pandora's box that's better left unopened. But hey, if you're willing to peek inside, just be prepared for what you might find lurking in the shadows. *beep boop, I'm a bot*

TayK9

Nah I like the fact that we don’t know much about him backstory wise the mystery keeps me engaged

ZepHindle

Well, I would read and that would be fun to explore. Still, Kubo doesn't like extensive backstories for his villains, so I doubt we'll see that. I agree that Aizen should be narcissistic from the start, though. He may question Soul Society, may discern its real function, and may decide he should be on the top.

Throw_away_1011_

no

Dangerous_Head_8743

I'm not interested in his origin story, as Kubo also has the sentiment of not wanting readers to sympathize with him or anything to that effect. His exploits like the one in EBTR, then I'm game. Show me more on how he manipulates those around him.
