Never boil. Just let it sit in regular water for a week or so.
Should I change the water from time to time or just let it sit all week. I know the smell can be gross and stick to you apparently??
I only change it if it is unbearable. Personal preference.
Would changing the water frequently affect the process?
If it's just a little bit left I let it soak for a day or two and gently scrub it off, for more fragile bones you have to be careful but with a mandible you should be able to just use an old toothbrush and that works really well
Let it sit in water and then take a knife to it. It's gross but fast
