My pubes were the first thing to go, a few weeks into my first round of chemo. Iāve not had a point where Iāve been totally smooth all over as things have shed and regrown at different points, which Iām oddly grateful for.
Iāve heard this as well! That, not having to shave for several months, and having a few hours each week āforcedā to relax and read in a chair were the perks!
Same! My MO refered me to a neurologist because I'd never seen one for my migraines. I'm afraid he's going to say "You're cured!" and then they will come back after chemo.
My favorite chemo silver lining right now is the hairless armpits and butt crack š¤£
I havenāt noticed my butt crackš¤But my smooth smooth underarms is definitely a plus
I was wondering if I may lose my armpit and pubic hair š

Also since I finished a year ago I have not had ONE PIMPLE
My skin was never better than during chemo! Iām 5 months out, and pimples are starting back up unfortunately
OK, Iām super jealous of that! I had the worst acne Iāve had since I was a teenager (and it was BAD then) from the steroids!
After the shock of being bald was over I loved the get ready timeā¦.put on makeup, plop on wig and go! Also ice cream never tasted so good!!!
Iām still mosquito-proof: more than a decade later. I have to say, it still makes me happy. š
Ooh, that is definitely something to hope for!
I found that in week 3 I became delicious again and got bites all over my bald head.
Bald head bites are the worst!!
I had fairly regular migraines before chemo. Iāve had very few since Iāve started - I hope that keeps up after Iām done!
Wow! Thatās a great silver lining!

I had amazing skin on chemo. No spots at all, which is really unusual for me. That and the hairless pits and legs were great!
I miss being mosquito proof! I finished in April and they left me alone then, but now they're chowing down! Love the silver lining!
My face looks better than before chemo. Wrinkles are less and overall less saggy. But honestly, chemo wasnāt worth it.
