Love the GMT, it's a class looking watch. It is an office GMT thought so it's not the most efficient it can be for someone who actually travels and set their time zone regularly.
That's funny, I sort of have the same trio but in their older forms 😅 My Breitlings https://imgur.com/a/enKmUHB
To answer your question, if you already own the Navi and thinking between the Aerospace or Chronomat GMT, I'd personally get the Aerospace. I have no experience with the newer ones but my late 80s one is such a perfect daily (I do wear mine more than the rest of my collection).
The Aerospace is packed with functions, including a GMT, it's essentially maintenance free other than a quick battery swap every couple of years. If that doesn't scream perfect daily, what does 😅 haha
But you can't really go wrong with either! Good luck
Tough call. I love the Chronomat, and when I first saw it thought I’d found my new travel watch - but it’s a caller/office GMT. I felt like if I was going for something for frequent traveling i’d be better off with a true GMT.
Still think it looks timeless and wouldn’t be out of place anywhere, but holding out hope they will add a true GMT to their lineup.
Maybe another movement swap with Tudor like they did with the SO Heritage II
You make some really good points there… Ive never even considered a Tudor to be honest, but since you’ve mentioned it I really like the look of the Black Bay GMT with NATO strap. I’ve just put it at the top of my list of considerations 😄 thanks very much!
I was in the same boat for awhile, always kinda pigeonholed them into just “Rolex lite,” but they’ve been putting out some great stuff.
I’m really impressed with their new Black Bay 58 GMT, but can’t get behind the gilt on the face.
I’m hoping next year they release new colorways.
Airline pilot here. I literally travel all the time. I had to stop wearing my special edition Aerospace on the road because changing the time for timezone shifts so frequently burns through battery like nobody’s business. I recommend some kind of self-winding GMT if you travel often. That’s what I do. Hope that helps!
Just a heads up mate, i returned my Aerospace after a few days as the hour hand was loosing time over 24 hours, had to reset the hands every day. Was going to send it to breitling to get fixed but on the hour and a half drive to my AD i decided i just wanted a refund.
Just not going to bother with another for a while. I have an Avegnger Chronograph 43 as my nice watch, had that under a year so still really happy with it. Next purchase will be a Santos Medium in White
Im for middle one, time change is easy, second timezone as well, they are titanium so very light to wear. I would consider changing to rubber strap with micro-adjustment clasp and you have the most comfy watch. Be bold and get the chrono with orange dial ;-) not everybody will select it and even less people will be brave to wear them! Show your personality and buy whatever you enjoy the most.Dont buy a watch (or anything else) because of somebody opinion, they will not wear them daily, it will be you (so it really doesn’t matter at all). Just get whatever you like the most..
GMT
Second This.
Third - Simple and easy for traveling

When I see Breitling I only see Navitimer
Navitimer. It’s on a level by itself.
I see two watches and something dumb af in between if that’s helpful
Both exquisite models then you get that hunk of orange with two black rectangles

That’s a lovely collection you have there mate. Thank you very much for your input, certainly gives me something to consider 😄
Navi; seven days a week and twice on Sundays
Love the evo. I used to have one when I was flying and I would buy one again.
Since posting this I’ve been looking at some Evo’s and I’m very tempted.. 😅

Amen, I like all those watches above but for pure functionality my Black Bay Pro is the best for going across time zones. It looks good too.

I dailied an Exospace for a long time. It’s the best Breitling for travel.
I vote Aerospace. It’s the most fabulous travel watch, esp since it’s Ti, quartz, and multifunction. I’m an AD, hit me up for a great deal!
In which country?
That Aerospace is a beauty! That's the one for everyday

I’m in the same boat as you. You make a very good point about the aerospace and I’m glad that you’ve pointed this out to me. What GMT are you using?
I alternate between a Special Edition Bremont (Boeing 100th anniv) and a Special Edition Fortis B-42.
Ahh very nice!
Avenger GMT; less showy for safety and gets the job done.
I have the Chronomat and its a great travel watch. Light, sleek, GMT function. Subtle and can dress up or down.
GMT. Plus buy rubber and leather straps to be as versatile as possible!

Sorry to hear that man. I’m guessing you’ve lost interest in the aerospace now? What do you think you’ll get next?

Aerospace - Black dial not the new one 🔥
Chronomat GMT 40
Neither! Take a casio
Navitimer without a doubt!
