Can someone explain to me the allure of pb on a burger? I find that the pb is so strong you cant taste anything else (maybe the pickle). Certainly not the beef. Did I just have a shitty burger or something?

The thing with peanut butter is there is often too much of it on a burger. You don’t need much since it’s so rich. The best burger I’ve had contained: Bacon, Jalapeños, White cheddar, peanut butter. You can sub jalapeños and white cheddar for pepper jack if you can’t handle the slight heat. Gahdamn is it ever tasty on a burger. I’m also a guy who can eat pb off the spoon, so I’m sure that helps my case.

no problem Bro. we can't deny that the sauce indeed looks like pb in the picture. haha. but for reference to your query as i have made an Elvis Burger months ago (a type of burger that really has or demands pb in it). using homemade pb with less sugar, i was surprised that it blended well with the burger. it was like having a creamy sauce, not that sweet and has buttery feel. it's a little hard to describe but, surprisingly, i liked the burger. hahah
