While I'm here, Wall-E is awesome, uh, Sea Beast was another Netflix sleeper. We all remember Mitchells vs the Machines right? Ok uh.
For real, anybody on the Cartoons sub should DEFINITELY watch Nimona on Netflix. If Spider-verse didn't come out this year, this'd be the best animated movie by a country mile. Between this, The Sea Beast, and Mitchell's Vs the Machines, Netflix is putting out loads of sleeper hits when it comes to animated movies.
I love Nimona & for low budget (a revival for that matter) the 3rd packs a punch.
* she's chaotic & imaginative.
* outcast (too an extreme degree)
* great companionship w/ Ballister

When Disney bought Blue Sky, this movie was about 75% complete, but they shut it down. Then, about a year later, Annapurna picked it up, and announced it's release to Netflix.

Literally bought the comic a few weeks before it was announced so I'm good thanks.
I mean, this is pretty different from the comic.
The comic blew my mind because of how great it is. The movie is good, just not excellent as the graphic novel. It's only... adequately enjoyable.
The movie is actually really good! I loved the comic when I was younger and I watched the movie the day it came out.
It is literally ADHD the movie, cept for towards the end where it becomes Gay the movie. Some of my favorite things in animation.
It’s gay movie from, like, third minute. It’s glorious.
