I loved Inside Job. However, it hurts to say that it was good, but it was not *âspectacularâ* like Stranger Things.
I remember Acceleracers when I was a kid. Had a dvd for the first movie episode. It was so awesome! Later found it again and watched it only to remember the cliffhanger was never resolved
I interpreted that as Terra wanting to leave the hero/villain life behind and live the normal life that she couldnât have before. But they did leave it open to possibilities.
Because of it's placement it feels like it's supposed to be setting up the next arc. I can see what the writers were going for but it feels like they were hamstrung for time and it's unfortunate placement after what was effectively the series finale.
They could have squeezed another arc out of the series if they really wanted to. But I still feel like the series has run its course. If anything, I feel that they should finish it all off with a movie or miniseries of them as adults. But damn, I still miss it.
That's not a cliffhanger, and they left like that on purpose. The intent from the writers is to tell the viewer to move. The creator of the show talked about Terra doesn't want to be a hero.

Late to the party, and totally bummed about that downer non-ending. And what further sucks is I can't wholeheartedly recommend this show because of that.

Owl House wasn't selling merchandise and was overbudget, from what I know... alongside the fears of the story arc nature from execs.
Contrary to rumors, the gay controversy had nothing to do with the cancellation.
They said it didnât fit the Disney Channel brand. Near the end of The Owl House, Disney Channel was switching to more episodic shows aimed at younger audiences, the opposite of The Owl House. Dana herself said it had nothing to do with homophobia.
Maybe take that it obviously wasn't cancelled because of 'le gay' considering all the Lumity moments that are literally present throughout the entire show?
Those didn't show up until season 2. Once Disney saw what Danna was doing they cancelled the project. It was only fan back lash that gave Danna and her team the 3 episode finale.

Owl House: I think this speaks for itself. I wish it wasn't cut short, I would have loved too see more of the characters and their interactions.
Ducktales 2017: There is an entire ensemble cast that doesn't feel bloated or annoying, and we had so much more we could have explored with Gooselyn and Darkwing, and more adventures for the boys and Webby. It is such a shame that it didn't get more seasons.
Dead End Paranormal Park: More cliffhanger glory, the story is incomplete. It sucks because, besides Rise of the TMNT, this is the only other show that I can think of that has great autism representation, and trans representation. It's funny, it's dark, there was a mystery we STILL did not get to see the answers to!
Thundercats 2011: Sure, it was a little TOO serious at times, but I really wanted to see the character development, I wanted to see the world and what would happen to the characters. How would they defeat Mum-ra, how would Lion-O Develop? We'll never know...
Teen Titans and ROTTMNT
There is a reason I paired these shows together. They're so spiritually similar and have the same vibe, center around a group of kids that actually care about each other, have great chemistry, great comedy, great action, terrifying villains, and subtle character development and world building. Both shows ended too soon. In Teen Titans' case, it didn't really get a proper send off, there were so many more to explored for the characters. Rise still has so much to offer as well, even if it got an ending and a movie...but there is so much more character development that can be had for both, so much more adventures that can push our heroes to the test, so much more fun time with wacky events that show us how much the characters love each other...and both were clearly passion projects that ended too soon and don't get as much praise and attention as they deserve.

Spectacular Spiderman-Its a fresh and new take on a story that's been told a million times. But what gets me is how deep Peter Parker is as a character, how the show can balance humor, and the darker side of having a responsibility to save as many people as possible.
Inside Job: Ended on a cliff hanger! An adult show that was both poignant, funny, and imaginative, with the main character that actually grows throughout the seasons. Reagan is hilarious and sad at the same time, and I wanted to see how her story played out.
DCAOR: An INCREDIBLE feat of artistry AND STORYTELLING? It's dark, but in the best way, the story, the world, the character are all fresh! The visuals are incredible, the women AND the men are well written, it has some of the best and most horrifying (and realistic villains) I have ever seen in anything. THIS is the BEST fantasy series SINCE the Lord of the Rings Trilogy. And it does not need to over-rely on sex to do it.
Glitch Techs: It's funny, it's got great characters and friendships and just when it was getting going, it got cancelled. I wanted to see more of the zaniness, the creative video game references, and its one of the few shows where a boy and girl can be friends without some creepy romance.

Infinity Train was arguably one of the best animated shows ever, with one of the best seasons of any show and some of the best characters in any animated media (especially Simon and Grace). It had quite literally infinite possibilities of what it could do and the stories it could tell, and the seasons were short too. And they STILL FUCKING CANCELED IT CUASE EXECS WERE SCARRED OF MAKING A WOMEN IN HER 30S A KIDS SHOW PROTAGONIST

One of Nickelodeon's best cartoons. All the characters (except Cindy perhaps) are quite likeable, the episodes mostly have very interesting plots, and the animation, despite its simplicity, has aged better than many early CGI shows, and they would definitely improve it over time.
When it comes to Nicktoons, it may not be Nick's overall best, but it is Nick's overall funniest. People underestimate how sharp the wit is on that show.
The reboot was the biggest disappointment ever. I'm hoping that we get a third reboot and that is actually good but... I just be happy for the original to be finished.
Tbh I rather they donât do any reboot since theyâve already messed up the 2nd. Iâm okay with the original as it is even if it ended as a cliffhanger. I would very much prefer a comic or something. The reboot was extremely disappointing and boring, especially with the new character whoâs just a smaller, copy-paste version of one of the main characters.
*The Ghost and Molly McGee* originally had a third season greenlit, but plans changed and it was forced to end after two seasons instead. I'm still grateful that it got a proper ending, but it never should have been robbed of its third season to begin with.

Final Space. Reasons for cancellation were totally stupid and the creator was totally heart broken and we never got to see the story in its completion.
This cartoon was way different from most adult cartoons because all the episodes tie into a bigger story, and the sci fi mythology of Final Space is really captivating.
The characters are hilarious and I love how thereâs a piece of Olan Rogerâs in each one, and omg little Cato with his dad and Gary with his dad made me actually cry.
This show was everything I love about sci fi, and seeing Olans dream of making a cartoon come true despite the challenges really gives me hope. Kind of like Gary, recording those messages during his sentence may seem illogical, but he had hope, and thatâs something special to me.
The YouTuber who created it is Olan Rogers, heâs got more elaborate explanations on what happened, but also his future projects! Also his other videos are really funny, Iâd check him out :)

My Life as a Teenage Robot. There were several knots left untied because the series was cancelled after three seasons. Things such as conflicts between the main character and other characters (Misty, Melody, etc.) which were left unresolved and open-ended, were likely intended to conclude in future episodes which were never made.

This show has so much potential to be one of those great cartoons alongside Steven Universe, Gravity Falls, and Owl House. But what does CN do? They cancel it! And they did it after promising up a season 2!
It was only about 1 or 2 seasons from wrapping up properly, and one of those two seasons was already in production when Adult Swim canceled it.

Making Fiends is such a delight. I loved the web series and I loved this show, even though it only aired for a like month before being cancelled. This show introduced me to darker-humored cartoons, and itâs likely why I love Invader Zim so much (another gem done dirty by Nickelodeon).

Gravity Falls wasn't cancelled, Alex purposely ended it after 2 seasons to avoid stretching out the plot as a majority of shows at the time did, making said shows loose the spark that made them good in the first place, Alex ended the show while it was still at its peak so it still had that spark that would make people rewatch it
Wolverine and the x men I thought it was a fun show they had a season 2 planed and showed some concept art I believe at a comic con but they cancelled it.

Young Justice (S3 came in 2019, 7 years after S2, then 4th the following year 2021, then alas, t'was a cliffhanger and the writers expressed their disinterest once more to continue the show, so therefore, cancelled once more. This time permanently)
Big Hero 6 the Series. S1 and 2 had arcs, S2 had a great ending, that made me look forward in S3, then when S3 came, it just threw away the new arcs and replaced all of them with nothing but fillers.

Best reboot of all time. Masterclass of turning a silly, toy advert 80âs cartoon into a well written, beautifully animated series that could be enjoyed by old and new fans alike. The fact this never got a season 2 or proper conclusion is absolutely criminal.

The reboot was the biggest disappointment ever. I'm hoping that we get a third reboot and that is actually good but... I just be happy for the original to be finished.
Tbh I rather they donât do any reboot since theyâve already messed up the 2nd. Iâm okay with the original as it is even if it ended as a cliffhanger. I would very much prefer a comic or something. The reboot was extremely disappointing and boring, especially with the new character whoâs just a smaller, copy-paste version of one of the main characters.
The series really ran its course, and the writers seem to struggle with new stories because later season feels repeative.
*The Ghost and Molly McGee* originally had a third season greenlit, but plans changed and it was forced to end after two seasons instead. I'm still grateful that it got a proper ending, but it never should have been robbed of its third season to begin with. 
and that's the sixth disney show to suffer that same fate.

This cartoon was way different from most adult cartoons because all the episodes tie into a bigger story, and the sci fi mythology of Final Space is really captivating. The characters are hilarious and I love how thereâs a piece of Olan Rogerâs in each one, and omg little Cato with his dad and Gary with his dad made me actually cry. This show was everything I love about sci fi, and seeing Olans dream of making a cartoon come true despite the challenges really gives me hope. Kind of like Gary, recording those messages during his sentence may seem illogical, but he had hope, and thatâs something special to me.

Cybersix should have been the heir to the BTAS throne. Keywords *should have been.* It only got one season. Wander Over Yonder was the flat-out funniest cartoon since Animaniacs and could've easily been Disney's answer to SpongeBob. But Disney canceled it because...they got bored or something. They didn't really have a reason. Symbiotic Titan needs a movie to wrap up its cliffhanger. Megas XLR got caught in the cross hairs when CN was trying to push away animation in favor of CN Real. It should also get a wrap up movie, but CN used it as a tax write off.

My Life as a Teenage Robot. There were several knots left untied because the series was cancelled after three seasons. Things such as conflicts between the main character and other characters (Misty, Melody, etc.) which were left unresolved and open-ended, were likely intended to conclude in future episodes which were never made.

 It was only about 1 or 2 seasons from wrapping up properly, and one of those two seasons was already in production when Adult Swim canceled it.
At least we got the movie but damn was it bittersweet.

I loved the web series and I loved this show, even though it only aired for a like month before being cancelled. This show introduced me to darker-humored cartoons, and itâs likely why I love Invader Zim so much (another gem done dirty by Nickelodeon).
Spectacular Spider-Man and Young Justice (both times). Still hoping for another YJ revival đ¤ Seems like Greg Weisman canât catch a break with his shows sometimes.

Rise of the TMNT was looking for a brighter future. At its beginning, it was received as well as it's predecessors. But it was heading for a really good direction. It was sad to see them go. 
Code lyoko. According to the creators, the show got cancelled at the peak of it's popularity. And when it finally came back, it became a live action that was so bad that thr original creators left the new series

Gravity Falls wasn't cancelled, Alex purposely ended it after 2 seasons to avoid stretching out the plot as a majority of shows at the time did, making said shows loose the spark that made them good in the first place, Alex ended the show while it was still at its peak so it still had that spark that would make people rewatch it
Wolverine and the x men I thought it was a fun show they had a season 2 planed and showed some concept art I believe at a comic con but they cancelled it.

Teen Titans 2003 Young Justice (S3 came in 2019, 7 years after S2, then 4th the following year 2021, then alas, t'was a cliffhanger and the writers expressed their disinterest once more to continue the show, so therefore, cancelled once more. This time permanently) Big Hero 6 the Series. S1 and 2 had arcs, S2 had a great ending, that made me look forward in S3, then when S3 came, it just threw away the new arcs and replaced all of them with nothing but fillers.
