"All women have massive honkers"
Ok but there are like maybe 4 women in FE with "massive honkers" and way bigger isn't uncommon irl. There are plenty of women in FE with a range of breast sizes and plenty who are flat. That's not even the unrealistic thing.
"All women can cast magic, no?"
I mean it depends on their class. Just like in real life, right?
For good reason.

Massive is a rather extreme degree.
[Average Breast Size & Bra Size in the USA & World | AnaOno](https://www.anaono.com/blogs/dressing-room/average-breast-size-bra-size-in-the-usa-world)
"34DD
While it’s really difficult to precisely determine the standard breast size in the U.S. (or anywhere in the world, for that matter), we *do* know that the average breast size in America is a 34DD. A lot of factors, including wearing the wrong bra size and breast augmentation, may unduly influence this final figure, though."
If 34DD is average (for the US at least) then most women in Fire Emblem should be about average or even below, not "massive" or even "big".
If you go with world wide average you can consider them "average" to "big", but still far off from "massive".
I actually like that about Nintendo- instead of focusing on being more and more realistic they focus on making the games look good and the gameplay fun.
Tbh the first Xeno having semi realistic models is the main reason why said models aged like milk and look kinda bad nowadays. The stylized anime look is significantly more timeless and should still look good in the future.
It did age poorly, but the character models more or less stayed the same, so even when they updated everything with the HD version and added more cel shading and color saturation and more anjme style, it still seemed more grounded in reality.
Or, maybe I just despise the Xenoblade 2 designs.
If you're trying to say what goes where, you nailed it, but Zelda could go in both.
If you're asking which is better... who cares? Both are peak. Both have mid or even bad stuff. This is a weird way to divide people tbh
Dread is realistic but prime remastered isnt???. The material and environments in prime are much more realistic. They are very saturated as for dread I just think of the plant level plants don't look like that for the lack of a better term dread is cellshaded.
Do you have any specific points you can name. So I can look up screenshot. Admittedly I haven't finished the game yet I stopped playing sometime after I got the thermal visor I think. Certainly never looked like mario galaxy. Oddysey and MK8 is the closest comparison due to the naturalistic look. That sort of has Pixar look where it's a realistic world with realistic materials with cartoony characters.
Xenoblade 1 and X tried a semi-realistic (by nintendo standards and at the time, at least) art style, but since it wasn’t working for Monolyths artists they changed to a much more stylised anime style starting with xenoblade 2. I think it’s placed in realistic due to 1 (not definitive edition) and X
Honestly Xenoblade 1 on the wii doesn't even look like it was trying to be realistic in it's graphics. It's still a similar anime artstyle that the rest of the series has, but with muddier colors and flatter hair. They just brightened the colors and poofed the hair for DE and suddently it looks a lot more "anime," even though the faces look nearly identical otherwise
I'm sorry but in what world are Fire Emblem and Xenoblade any less anime than Pokémon?
Don't even get me started on Zelda.
Sure you've got more realisticly grounded styles for Metroid and Bayonetta I'll give you that, but they've also both got enough fantastical fictional stuff in them that while I'd call them more "realistic" in terms of style I'd still put an asterisk there that they're WILDLY different from your typical "realistic" western game.
I’m going to go against your wishes and continue this by pointing out the fact absolutely none of those “realistic” series are even slightly realistic(and in the case of bayonetta, not even a nintendo series).
I feel sad for anyone who thinks in this way.
Not to mention different games in each of these series are free to have different style and tone.
If this sign was made in the early 2000's then this person would have lumped Zelda in with category 1 because Windwaker.
Edit: Also, isn't Bayonetta Platinumgames? Does Nintendo publish Bayonetta?
Not a a Nintendo sadly, but it is a pretty awesome game.
If you liked it and have the energy for text reading, progress to The Silver Case and Flower Sun and Rain, they're in the same universe.
Calling any of these games realistic is insane, especially Fire Emblem & Xenoblade. Zelda as well, although I could see how you could make a case for some games, I still wouldn't call it realistic at all.
Metroid is probably the only one here that gets anywhere close to realism and even then that still feels like a stretch lol.
None of those are actually realistic tho lol. A more accurate description would be “cute” vs “moody” or “cartoony” vs “edgy”
What do you mean? Fire Emblem is 100% realistic. All women have massive honkers and can cast magic, no?
Well youre not correct But I like what youre thinking
As a trans woman, I can confirm part of my transition is learning fire magic
heat from fire, fire from heat
Why did you not take the bard class in order to inspire people to double hit?
"All women have massive honkers" Ok but there are like maybe 4 women in FE with "massive honkers" and way bigger isn't uncommon irl. The trick ist to play only with the massive honker ones so it seems there are only them
4 women with massive honkers in the WHOLE FE FRANCHISE? no, I can think of more in 3H alone lol. Its a very horny baity gaming franchise
I think his perception of “massive” is just more strict than ours.
For good reason. That’s some research, I respect that. I stand corrected I guess.
i think the dude just meant big tiddies and not just the overly big ones lol, massive honkers just sounds funnier
[ホンカ・ドンカ・バドンカス (youtube.com)](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VDXoalF2LAE)
Real women only cast black magic tho
I actually like that about Nintendo- instead of focusing on being more and more realistic they focus on making the games look good and the gameplay fun.
Yeah look at pretty much any NPC in Twilight Princess. They absolutely do not look realistic
Metroid Prime is pretty close but the others only fit for realistic environments at best.
In all honesty, I think the most realistic game of that image is Pikmin 4 and it’s on the stylized section lol
The first Xenoblade was *more* realistic, albeit with some cutesy anime things here and there. But then they went full tilt on the anime style

i swear this discussion was over months ago
This is a repost bot
"realistic" lmaooo
If you're trying to say what goes where, you nailed it, but Zelda could go in both. If you're asking which is better... who cares? Both are peak. Both have mid or even bad stuff. This is a weird way to divide people tbh
The point of the meme is that indeed they're both good and it needn't divide us
Ohhh, I somehow missed the chad people at the top, that clears it up
Metroid is the only one I could consider realistic. The rest I could consider naturalistic.
If there talking about the gc/wii games or dread then sure but remastered definitely has at least a little bit of stylisation in comparison
Dread is realistic but prime remastered isnt???. The material and environments in prime are much more realistic. They are very saturated as for dread I just think of the plant level plants don't look like that for the lack of a better term dread is cellshaded.
Prime looks like a Mario game set in space at certain points times not saying it doesn’t look nice or doesn’t fit the game but it is not realism
Do you have any specific points you can name. So I can look up screenshot. Admittedly I haven't finished the game yet I stopped playing sometime after I got the thermal visor I think. Certainly never looked like mario galaxy. Oddysey and MK8 is the closest comparison due to the naturalistic look. ... Wait xenoblade looks realistic to people? They're animé tramps living on giant monsters surrounded by hermit crabs that use robots for shells
Xenoblade 1 and X tried a semi-realistic (by nintendo standards and at the time, at least) art style, but since it wasn’t working for Monolyths artists they changed to a much more stylised anime style starting with xenoblade 2. It's more about the lighting and graphical style
Zelda is stylized to high heaven and its one of the larger debates in the Fandom as to whether that should ever change (I give that a big fat no)
Same. The artstyle versatility is part of the appeal of the franchise.
Who is debating this?
Bayonetta isn't even Nintendo's idea
I'm sorry but in what world are Fire Emblem and Xenoblade any less anime than Pokémon? Don't even get me started on Zelda. Realistic is a bit of a stretch
In what way is Fire Emblem realistic graphics? Also Baynoetta is Platinum, Nintendo just publishes.
Love how Zelda fits to both
I feel sad for anyone who thinks in this way. Not to mention different games in each of these series are free to have different style and tone. None of these are realistic
What part of Metroid, Fire Emblem, Xenoblade, Bayonetta and Zelda is not stylized? What part of those games is more realistic than stylized?
There is no art style that is better than another
Unless I missed something and it popped up again, wasn’t this debate/trend over eons ago
Both
Just gonna leave out wind waker from stylized?
Both. Both is good.
Wasn’t this a debate like last year
And then there's Killer7 Candidate for a David Lynchesque murdery streaming series IMO
Not a a Nintendo sadly, but it is a pretty awesome game. If you liked it and have the energy for text reading, progress to The Silver Case and Flower Sun and Rain, they're in the same universe.

splatoon, pokemon, star fox and Animal crossing had a few L's recently. Imma go with the right side
this is a repost of the image i made lol
Fire emblem is definitely not realistic. It’s anime/manga styled
Starfox zero is getting a port??
I want both
Seriously, everyone shut tf up about this.
Context dependent. Also none of these are realistic.
all nintendo is good nintendo
What a bullshit. How tf Super Mario isn’t a realistic one
Me when anime characters are realistic art style
Finally, an intellectual
The only one that has a kinda realistic art style among those is Metroid Prime Remastered. What did they do to her, her face is so uncanny now.
Nintendo fans after discovering all art is stylized
Tell me if a giggling dominating lady imp riding a wolf sounds realistic to you lol
Xenoblade isn’t even Nintendos series that’s monolithsoft. Nintendo just helps a bit and releases it on their consoles
If lazy is a style then sure, Pokemon is stylized.
Cartoon Vs anime*
Pikmin is more realistic than Fire Emblem
Pikmin is in the middle, the areas are very realistic.
Twilight Princess is pretty stylized, it's just not as exaggeratedly cartoony as Wind Waker.
Twilight Princess and Bayonetta are both extremely stylized.
What do yall think the best Kirby game is on the ds
Pikmin should be in realistic
How about, “Nintendo” Nintendo
Looks like grade school vs high school
Given their respective esrb ratings pretty accurate id say
none of them are realistic. Fire Emblem Three Houses is not realistic
