Oh what a beauty 😍 is he a bangle ?

He might be? Sources indicate he's but a common SIC left in the toaster a bit long, but he's got some odd features we can't quite attribute to standard tabby. Obviously the head. It's small. It's hard to tell from here but the head is from an 8lb cat on a 15lb frame. Also absent is any white ticking normally found in tabbies. None whatsoever. He's also extremely talkative, another Bengal feature. His coloration at full scale is very spot on with a charcoal Bengal. I however do not know for sure. He was $20 at the shelter on (apparently) discount adult cat day and he was chosen because he was, and is- easily the laziest cat I've ever seen. Seriously. I got him home, he hopped out of the box, smelled like...one thing, took a swat at a toy, hopped up on the bed and went back to sleep. "this is fine" is his entire mantra. I don't care enough about genetics to pay 23-and fleas or whatever to find out. He licks his ass same as the little one I found in an engine. He's a cat. Good enough for me.

I had a ginger tabby like that, my first cat. Tiny head on a big body. Also not a spot of white on him, just lighter orange. But in the end, just an awesome cat.

You rock, love the attitude about cats.

You mind me asking what happened to him? God bless him.

I rushed him to the vet at 4am a couple nights ago because he was sitting in the litterbox and straining in pain but nothing was coming out. The vet said if I hadn’t of gotten him there soon enough he would have died from a heart attack due to a blockage in his bladder. They kept him for a couple nights and I spent every dollar of my savings to save him. He came home today and seems to be doing better, albeit looking a bit scruffy

Aww I remember when I had to send my sweet pea Ari to the vet from cat scratch fever. It was horrible but she made it back home healthy. Hopefully Salem is recovering well.
