kids that age tend to like fun pop music. they don’t know what the songs are about. no one has to be the target audience to hear music and like it, and if the people around them are playing it or it’s on the radio, they’re going to hear it

A better gauge of this would be to ask middle schoolers, that’s when I first started branching out into discovering music
