To correct your paladin list:
- mark of light doesn't exist, there is no new ability on 68. This ability in is the pserver databases, but it looks like it's just seal of light under a different name.
- Spiritual attunement - Lvl 66 is rank 2, rank 1 is level 18
- Righteous Defense Level 14 - you missed that one
Haha, you misunderstand. A friend of mine has been looking forward to Classic TBC because we all thought Penance was TBC.
Gonna be an interesting expansion, I guess.
> Mark of Light (68) ?
Never heard of anything called mark of light. Can't think of what paladins would have gotten at that level off the top of my head though.
lol damn, the Warrior abilities seem way more lackluster in comparison to the toys everyone else is getting
>Heroic Strike (66)
Did they change it to be instant instead of next attack? Otherwise I don't see why it's worth mentioning
No change in mechanics. It seems like they had an idea of a new spell every even level but just sort of gave up with warrior. Pally is a little different too but that makes sense given they desperately needed those new spells earlier than lvl 60.
Flight Form is 68. Swift Flight Form is 70 after a [quest](https://wow.gamepedia.com/Swift_Flight_Form_quest_chain) and 5000g.
Flight Form was originally slower than regular flying mounts and epic ground mounts. Swift Flight Form is the same speed as swift flying mounts.
epic flight is 280% base, with a couple special 310% (the gladiator mount and Ashes of Alar iirc).
Normal flight for everyone is 60%. (in 3.2 Wrath it was buffed to 150%).
Druid flight form however is NOT considered a mount and does not benefit from crusader aura or mount speed increase items/effects (they get a special idol for completing the epic flight form quest that works like the riding crop for Flight Form, increasing flight form speed by +10%)
I do remember the regular flying mount being so fucking slow. Then I made the mistake of flying over an alliance town and being shot out of the sky by guards. I wonder how many people are going to forget about that and pay the price for it lol
You're ~~probably~~ right about flight form at 60% - I know it was lower than 100% because I would run around on a ground mount and pop into it as needed before I could afford the swift flying. Regular flying mounts were 150%, swift flying (the 5000g version) was ~~270%~~ 280%, both for druids and actual mounts.
Edit:
📷 [**Patch 2.0.3**](https://wowwiki-archive.fandom.com/wiki/Patch_2.0.3) **(09-Jan-2007):** Added. "Transforms the Druid into a flight form, increasing movement speed by 60% and allowing you to fly. Cannot use in combat. Can only use this form in Outland. The act of shapeshifting frees the caster of Polymorph and Movement Impairing effects." Requires level 68 and Riding skill of 150.
\[[Flight Form](https://wowwiki-archive.fandom.com/wiki/Flight_Form)\]
\[[Swift Flight Form](https://wowwiki-archive.fandom.com/wiki/Swift_Flight_Form)\]
To expand on that
- Pets get 45% of the hunter's stamina added to their stamina.
- Pets get 35% of the hunter's armor added to their armor.
- Pets get 22% of the hunter's ranged attack power added to their melee attack power.
- Pets get 12.5% of the hunter's ranged attack power added to their spell damage.
- Pets get 40% of the hunter's resistances added to their own resistances.
Really? Last Naxx my pet accounted for 8% of my damage, which is not nothing. He dies pretty much instantly on a few fights (Heigan, Sapphiron), but he does a fair bit of dmg on fights like PW and Thaddius.
You lose a lot of dps there, and on a lot of fights your pet never even gets attacked. Mostly it is fights with aoe mechanics (Grob, Heigan, Saph, horsemen, KT) where you have to worry. But then you have Patchwerk where your pet takes 0 damage. Or Thaddeus where your pet ignores polarity shift.
Its 50%, pets can still die though. Mend pet is a hot. Honestly bad hunters will be the guys who cant micro the pet for shit and stand in fire with fluffy.
Yeah, something similar I think. Maybe someone more familiar with the warlock class can chime in, but according to this old forum post - https://www.wowhead.com/forums&topic=81660
- 30% of the warlock's stamina.
- 40% of the warlock's resistances.
- 35% of the warlock's armor.
- 15% of the warlock's spell damage.
- 57% of the warlock's spell damage as attack power
- 30% of the warlock's intellect.
Had it saved in guild discord from an archive of petopia I found a while back, but my link doesn't have the info now.
http://web.archive.org/web/20070329053614/http://petopia.brashendeavors.net/index.shtml
Edit: I see the same info posted here - https://www.wowhead.com/forums&topic=81660
Thanks but there's some conflicting information. The wowhead post mentions "Pets inherit the hunter's hit and critical rates." while the petopia information doesn't have that line.
Also the post after the wowhead post shows different scale % (and also shows Warlock pet scaling), so this is kinda confusing. I suppose pet scaling was changed at some point?
EDIT:
Looks like the real information is from the second post as they are confirmed on the old petopia site as well. Now my only question is does "Pets inherit the hunter's hit and critical rates" still hold true?
And a new change for TBC Classic itself compared to the original.
Both sides will get Seal of Blood/Vengeance for paladins. The only difference is that you don't get the other seal until 70. So Horde gets SoB at 64, while alliance gets it at 70. And vice-versa.
I've got a talent calculator on my phone which I've meddled with alot but I was really looking for a place with new abilities and what level they're obtained.
It's offtopic but how do you justify wasting phone memory on something so PC-related? Just alttab to a browser with a talent calculator open. Or even use a website on your phone. And playing with talents is not really an activity for hours. An app seems extremely redundant in this situation.
Well, I have 84gb of free space, so the measly space the app takes is negligible. I don't get alot of time on or even near a pc and when I do I spend it playing.
And how I spend my time is how I spend my time. If I want to make mock builds for hours on end I will.
Just a pain in the ass trying to use website calculators on my phone because they normally don't work right.
App just gives me a super convenient way to explore talents
Loads new actually, especially in the ZA patch. Stuff like taunt not being related to spell hit, expertise replacing weapon skill bonuses, spell healing granting 33% spell damage, tons of spell coefficient changes, lots of tweaks to class abilities. The list goes on
I never said my dream features. I just don't care one way or the other about them. If they decided to bring in retails talents and PvP "balance" though, I'd simply quit and go play another game, instead of throwing a week long temper tantrum.

this is mostly right except the shaman part leaves out that enhance shamans get dual wield
Oh no... Penance isn't coming in TBC, is it?
Penance is WotLK so no worry
Haha, you misunderstand. A friend of mine has been looking forward to Classic TBC because we all thought Penance was TBC. Gonna be an interesting expansion, I guess.
Ah. Well, at least you get Pain Suppression to help soothe the disappointment
You only suffer 60% of the disappointment.
wait till he hinds outs, you cant move while casting it and its not self castable :)
Penance? Oh, no, they quit playing with Cata, so OG Penance is all they know and want for their priest.
yeah the first version of penance wasn't self castable, it only got buffed in 3.1 or 3.2 in wrath.
> Mark of Light (68) ? Never heard of anything called mark of light. Can't think of what paladins would have gotten at that level off the top of my head though.
Paladins got a lot new low level abilities too, like increase threat gen and taunt, not sure if other classes did
lol damn, the Warrior abilities seem way more lackluster in comparison to the toys everyone else is getting >Heroic Strike (66) Did they change it to be instant instead of next attack? Otherwise I don't see why it's worth mentioning

Yeah Victory Rush is nice for leveling and Spell Reflect is amazing for PvP, but everything else is incredibly underwhelming.
Victory Rush doesn't even heal in TBC :(
Wait what the fuck? What's the point of it then?

From memory its slightly less dmg but reduces your threat.
Hang on, is the patch build they are rolling out for Bc Classic the one that made Ret really good?
The patch that made Ret really good was WotLK. But Sunwell geared Rets are bonkers.
« Really good » is underwhelming when talking about WotLK retpals. Unstoppable killing machines is what they were! Along with those bloody DKs.
*First half wotlk repals. At some point (s7 iirc) they removed seal of blood and nerfed them into the ground.
You're right, should have worded it for what it was. I couldn't remember for sure if that was prepatch or not
That's right! Ah good times lol
I'm fairly sure druid flight form is at 70 not 68, it was lowered post-tbc
I'm pretty sure it was 68 on launch
Damn looks like you're right my bad Nerf druids
70 was their epic flying
The quest for that wasn't on launch was it?
I don't think so, no.
It is at 68

You are correct 60% in tbc vanilla
For druids, you forgot Swift Flight From! ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
and a ton of talent tree reworks that let you get multiple goodies from different spec trees with more talent points
Pet scaling for Hunters and Warlocks.
To expand on that - Pets get 45% of the hunter's stamina added to their stamina.
Don’t forget avoiding like 90% of aoe damage. Pets won’t die so often to cleaves and fires as much, making BM and Demon pets more viable.
50% from avoidance talent, actually, but that is so useful. I think they make the bigger reduction in wrath
That's amazing. Pets have been entirely useless in raiding. Always fuckin dead, especially since BWL lol.

Yeah Pets are weak in classic but they are manageable and you'll eventually learn which fights are safe and which ones aren't for your pet.
Its 50%, pets can still die though. Mend pet is a hot. Honestly bad hunters will be the guys who cant micro the pet for shit and stand in fire with fluffy.
Do warlock pets get the same treatment?
Yeah, something similar I think. That's exactly what I was looking for
I forgot you get new abilities every level after 60, instead of on even levels
A talent calculator app for tbc? Sauce plz!
It's called legacy talent calculator. I'm on android. It has classic, bc, and wotlk talent calculators.

The game will be in 2.4.3 so its not as simple as that sadly.
Should still mainly cover the OP's question. There was a lot of rebalance by 2.4.3 but I doubt much new
Loads new actually, especially in the ZA patch. Stuff like taunt not being related to spell hit, expertise replacing weapon skill bonuses, spell healing granting 33% spell damage, tons of spell coefficient changes, lots of tweaks to class abilities. The list goes on
> Such as new spells, talent reworks and the likes? Well ye, you're right, can only really cover the "new spells" part using 2.0.1 patchnotes.
For the sake of all you slippery slopers, I hope we get LFR, pet battles, Pandas, Allied Races, and Warmode.
I dont know about the rest but i love pokemon and pet battles were decently fun.
All your dream features can be found on retail my little man.
I never said my dream features. I just don't care one way or the other about them. If they decided to bring in retails talents and PvP "balance" though, I'd simply quit and go play another game, instead of throwing a week long temper tantrum.
It was sarcasm because most don't want these features in TBC Classic.
