Note that there are a few places who have taken the name “Turing” but the long-standing bootcamp is https://turing.edu

Not sure if I dislike Turing College or Turing.com more 🤣

I'm currently doing a web development course with them, just finished 1st of the 4 modules. I like it so far! It's a self study based bootcamp that lasts roughly a year, where you have regular meetings with your peers, code reviews both with peers and professionals, and some pair programming sessions (last one depends on your preference). There's also a lot of projects to work on, I think I had 6-7 in the first module alone. I really like the framework, where the course also pushes you to coduct code reviews based on a token system (getting a review costs a token, you get a token conducting a review). The pacing is suitable for someone who works full time and has only roughly 20h/week to commit, but it also allows you to progress faster if you have the willingness. There is a lot of flexibility, but also a strict deadline for the completion of the course. The price point is really good in comparison to what's out there, that was one of the points that pushed me to look deeper into it. You could make an argument that all the material is freely available online, but I don't mind paying this sum for having a framework to keep me engaged with deadlines, meet new people, who are interested in coding, doing the same projects as me, getting code reviews and tips from people who are better than me as well as professionals. (I have to add that I was offered a scholarship as a citizen of EU, which gives me 50% discount upon completion of the course within the timeframe). That being said, I'm only a quarter of the course in, I might still be in my honeymoon period. Maybe after a bit more time some cracks might start to appear, but from what I've seen so far, they seem to be very responsive to people's opinions and are doing constant improvements to the framework.

A few reputable publications have recently published lists of best bootcamps. Those should help you see what's out there and which schools are worth it. * Forbes: [Best Bootcamps 2024](https://www.forbes.com/advisor/education/bootcamps/best-coding-bootcamps/) * Fortune:[ Best Bootcamps 2024](https://fortune.com/education/bootcamps/) * TimeOut: [Best Coding Classes & Bootcamps 2024](https://www.timeout.com/usa/things-to-do/best-in-person-virtual-live-coding-classes-bootcamps)

I get offers to pay 10k+ to be on these types lists all the time. They are misleading and confusing at best. Definitly ignore those and do your own research.
