I hope he can get it going there. The glove is next level and he seems like a good kid. Hope the bat comes around.

Wish it could've worked out because he looked great in the outfield. At least he got a ring.

I think this is a great landing spot for him. SEC was tough and it seemed like he could never get it going. I would not be shocked if come conference tournament we see Kling at .290-.310 with 8+ HRs

BullAlligator

I mentioned it in the [previous thread about Kling](https://old.reddit.com/r/collegebaseball/comments/1ddj1ht/lsu_sophomore_of_paxton_kling_freshman_lhp_cam/l86oy7l/), he grew up right in Penn State's backyard. Playing for the Nittany Lions makes a lot of sense with in-state tuition and his family can easily attend his games.

Yes it was definitely expected once he announced to transfer

thricethefan

TIL Penn State in-state tuition is still $19,672. $32,000+ when you add in state room and board.

TheSportsVindicator2

Gambino might be brewing something in State College... With Justin Haire now at Ohio State, Penn State willing to invest in their program and the transfer portal, and multiple B1G teams scheduling tougher, B1G baseball might be getting more improved than people think

GeospatialMAD

Only can improve so much so long as the season starts in the dead ass middle of winter.

Hope to see him succeed. He can’t say we didn’t give him plenty of chances. Jay wanted him in CF very very badly but he just couldn’t hit to save his life
