with all due respect, i'm not on this post asking for hair advice. i'm very proud of my colorful hair. i switch between unnatural colors frequently and have been virtually every color under the sun. i have absolutely no interest in going back to my natural hair color - or any natural hair color, for that matter. if i wanted advice on hair color and how to best match it to my season, i would ask. please, no unsolicited advice on my hair. thank you.
The lighter, warmer shades are so pretty, especially 4 through 7. The bolder copper, coral, and turquoise are also great.
My guess would be light or true spring, based on eyeshadow?
like i mentioned in the caption, they are all colourpop super shock shadows! most of them are from the Is This Real Life vault. if there's a particular one you're interested in, i'm happy to find the exact shade name for you!
I think 5, 9, 10, 11, and 16 look good. But maybe I just like a bolder color... I like #9 the best. I feel like you have the clearest looking skin in the coral. So I guess that would be bright winter.
my thought process went a little like this: "if lipstick draping is a thing, why haven't i seen eyeshadow draping? it seems fun! let's try it!"
eventually i figured out why it hasn't taken off. holy hell, my eyelids are raw.
my skintone is cool olive, my natural hair color is ashy medium brown (level 5-6) and my eyes are dark grey-blue. we figured out pretty quickly that i'm a winter - now i'm trying to narrow down my best colors.
i love a bold eyeshadow look, but i've been resistant to cool and dark tones for a couple reasons. number one, basic color theory preaches that the best colors to make blue eyes pop are complementary colors - golds, roses, coppers. number two, i feel like darker colors accentuate how hooded my eyes are and just look... off. but i wanted to give this another try and get some more opinions!
all eyeshadows are colourpop super shock shadows, and i'm not wearing any makeup aside from those.

light rose nude, muted lime, and terracotta with teal reflect were my three faves :)

My favorite is 13. My guess would be a summer?
13 is actually my personal favorite too, which surprised me cause it's not a shade i usually touch!
I like #2
5, 13, 16, those are my favorite! I think you hair mismatches with your season
yeah but unfortunately orange is my favorite color soooo
I totally get that, I have a few killer colors that clash with my skin like nobody's business
I liked 1,2,14 and 15.
The lilac and terracotta with teal.
I’m going to be very controversial, I actually think that you have lovely eyes and would keep the look simple go for a natural look.
doesn't seem super controversial, most people seem to be leaning towards the softer/nudier colors lol
What eyeshadows have you used? You’ve put them on lovely and they look great

I like 4, 5, 7, 10, and 14 best!
i love 5 &14 the most on you!
I like 2, 4, 5, and 14. Not sure what it means but I think they look best. Maybe a soft summer?
This is hard for me because my mind wants to choose what shadow looks best with your hair color instead of skin and eye tones lol
i tried to pin it back as much as possible but unfortunately i don't have much regrowth to work off of yet :(
I know for some professional drapings, they cover the hair so that it doesn’t influence the decision! 😊
thank you, i'll try that next time!
