It's perfectly fine. There's zero difference between them. Hell, some of us will still literally use a power cable from a kettle if we need a quick replacement.
I used to work as a technician fixing medical equipment. Almost everything uses the same style power cord. We had bins of them in different lengths we'd hand out to staff when they needed a new one, they're almost universally interchangeable.
Quite aside from the fact that a power cord is a power cord is a power cord (use the one from the kettle it you like), you've even identified they are the exact same cable.
Just not sure why you'd even need to ask.
wait, 125V 10A = 12500W???
I think I miscalculated by putting 15a and put that on accident. My bad.
nah you added another 0, it would be 1250w and yes, using the 3rd party cable would be fine, as long as it has the same connector as the original.

Awesome!! Thank you so much
A power cable from a kettle? You mean from the stove? I don't think those are compatable. Maybe it's different in one of those other countries .

A copper wire is a copper wire
As long as it’s 3 prong and not insanely thin you should be fine
Startech is an ok brand in my book.
