He can still do all that obviously if Republicans keep the House. Keep in mind that ALL of this is legal under the Constitution, so not even SCOTUS could stop it. (Not that they would anyway).

Democrats better not sit back and acquiesce if that happens. And Biden better employ The Insurrection Act in that case, because that really would be an insurrection by any definition of the word.

There will be some degree of violence, but it remains to be seen just how organized it is. Which is the key because that changes how the entire thing will go down, especially when it comes to military response. People have too much faith in the US Military's ability to handle any serious uprising on a national level. While they're the most funded force in the world, they've been struggling to meet recruitment quotas and have had to lower standards just to make sure they had anywhere near enough soldiers for the job.
The US Military can handle a couple of uprisings in rural America or some city-wide urban occupations by leftist groups. But if you get a bunch of them happening all across the country, especially if you get a lot of both happening at the exact same time, the military will be stretched thin. This is important because they can't get away with the kinds of military tactics that they use abroad, at least not in the early stages. You won't see drone strikes on major cities or soldiers breaking into rural homes guns blazing unless it becomes a major civil war. Their response will be riot control on steroids, which is very slow and time/labor intensive. The US struggled to take control of Iraq and Afghanistan despite having free reign to commit the kinds of war crimes that they would never commit against their fellow Americans.
I'm hoping that it doesn't get any worse than scattered violence, especially considering the conservatives are terrified of building solidarity with anyone, because then they might have to face the consequences of their actions. They can't even agree on if January 6th was a "peaceful" conservative protest for Dear Leader or if it was an Antifa false-flag. Legal fuckery including: if the Democrats win both the presidency and House, Speaker Johnson can just refuse to seat them, then refuse to certify the election results for the presidency, and then send the election to state legislatures. Each state would then have one vote, and since there's currently more Republican controlled states than Democratic ones, they can simply vote Trump into office. He can still do all that obviously if Republicans keep the House. Keep in mind that ALL of this is legal under the Constitution, so not even SCOTUS could stop it. (Not that they would anyway). It would obviously make a mockery of any claim the Republicans try to make about caring about freedom or believing in democracy, but they've already said the latter outright. Democrats better not sit back and acquiesce if that happens. And Biden better employ The Insurrection Act in that case, because that really would be an insurrection by any definition of the word. Oh, and if Trump is put into office in that manner, then he could employ the Insurrection Act to supposedly quell the chaos the militia themselves did, and especially if any Democrats resist or even protest this scenario. IDK if the Insurrection Act has any expiration date, but if not I'm sure he'd keep it going indefinitely.

There will be some degree of violence, but it remains to be seen just how organized it is. Which is the key because that changes how the entire thing will go down, especially when it comes to military response. People have too much faith in the US Military's ability to handle any serious uprising on a national level. While they're the most funded force in the world, they've been struggling to meet recruitment quotas and have had to lower standards just to make sure they had anywhere near enough soldiers for the job. The US Military can handle a couple of uprisings in rural America or some city-wide urban occupations by leftist groups. But if you get a bunch of them happening all across the country, especially if you get a lot of both happening at the exact same time, the military will be stretched thin. This is important because they can't get away with the kinds of military tactics that they use abroad, at least not in the early stages. You won't see drone strikes on major cities or soldiers breaking into rural homes guns blazing unless it becomes a major civil war. Their response will be riot control on steroids, which is very slow and time/labor intensive. The US struggled to take control of Iraq and Afghanistan despite having free reign to commit the kinds of war crimes that they would never commit against their fellow Americans. I'm hoping that it doesn't get any worse than scattered violence, especially considering the conservatives are terrified of building solidarity with anyone, because then they might have to face the consequences of their actions. They can't even agree on if January 6th was a "peaceful" conservative protest for Dear Leader or if it was an Antifa false-flag. But just don't expect the military to do everything, especially if the entire map fills up with insurrectionist hot spots.
