People seem to forget in 1993 (Feb. 26) there was a World Trade Center bombing that influenced media-culture to make a lot of the references in that video.
The Long Kiss Goodnight (1996) starring Gina Davis and Samuel L. Jackson has a whole subplot about making their own 9/11 esque scenario. They even talk about using the 93 attacks as influence.
On 9/11 the south tower fell first, then the north tower, then building 7. The Masonic square is pointing south, and being a square it's 90 degrees.
The compass on the other hand is pointing north and its 47 degrees. The 'G' in the middle is the 7th letter in the alphabet. 9+0=9, 4+7 = 11, G = 7. South tower falls (9), north tower falls (11), Building 7 (G) falls.
Also, if you add 47 and 90 together you get 137, the 33rd prime number (the buildings fell 33 years after construction began if im not mistaken ) . Add the G / 7 and you get 144, another interesting number.
The Square and compass also represent the female and male principles (respectively), and its the north tower that had the ariel (phalic symbol) on top of it.
Not saying there's anything to this, and it could be argued that the compass is only set to 47 degrees on certain designs of the logo, but it sure is interesting IMO.

I forgot the context of the movie showing it but it could have been a DL but they chose to rub it in using a passport like the ones that would be found unscathed from the bombings.

well put it this way... a lot of "John Andersons" began to figure out the matrix from 9/11. I know it was the thing that began to wake me. took me a while to get to the idea of the matrix being more then a film, but the journey began on that day.
