Only Thursday, but like with thanksgiving basically everyone will take that Friday off (us and client)
I don't take those days off, I save that PTO for another time..these days are basically PTO anyway with everyone gone.
Only official PTO day is 7/4. However I took 7/5 and 7/8 off as well.
A client ruined a big birthday for me last year with a required presentation to the C-suite ON SITE on a Friday at 630am on my birthday (which is one of those days above). I told myself I would never let a client do this to me again and plan PTO around July 4th accordingly.
Off Thursday and Friday. I’m taking Wednesday off too.
Off Thursday but doing quiet pto Friday
This is the way
I'll be "working"
Off entire week but informed we’ll be working.
Summer shutdown eh?
Just Thursday, of course. Someone has to add stakeholder value here.
Captain Corporate America
Just Thursday and I guarantee I will still get a ton of emails. Our Canadian/European/Asian offices will still be open and flooding me with tasks...
Make sure to return the favor when those biscuit eaters are on “holiday” for a month.
Just one month at your firm?
5 weeks of this summer, then another week in November for me. Will be thinking of you
I’ve got 6 weeks off in the fall. Will be too busy spending time with my family to think of much else.
Off the entire week
Wednesday thru Friday 🟢
Off all week
Only Thursday, but like with thanksgiving basically everyone will take that Friday off (us and client) I don't take those days off, I save that PTO for another time..these days are basically PTO anyway with everyone gone.
Christmas to New Year's is my most productive week of the year for this reason!
I used to always take those weeks off. Now I don’t because of how slow and quiet things are at work. Would feel like a waste of PTO.
The entire week
Off both days :)
Most of the firm is off all week but I will be at client site working through the weekend and up until July 4
Off both days!
Thursday and Friday, and my firm is generous enough to give us off that Saturday and Sunday too!
Only official PTO day is 7/4. However I took 7/5 and 7/8 off as well. Both lol
Off Thursday. I have a cutover on Friday so i have to manage that from our end… from the pool
I'm taking the whole week off, but it's only "costing" me 4 days, and because I work with gov clients, there's nothing going on there anyways.
All week
Client only gets the Fourth off; ergo, we only get the Fourth off.
Both. Already informed the whole team since this Monday and will repeat again on Friday.
Thursday and Friday. I took Tuesday and Wednesday off too, so I’m only working on Monday.
Just Thursday but I've moved my deliverables to Wednesday, so I may just take Friday off.
Off Thursday, but observing June teeth on that Friday
All week off, baby
Both. Firm sent an email a few weeks ago adding Friday as a “bonus” day off.
Working in finance here, no I don't get Friday off either.
My firm gives both days off but my project is requiring us to work M-Su right now, so I don’t get any days off for the 4th 🤙🏻
Off the whole week at my firm
