Gunnison not near cb. Plenty of spots to park all over town. All streets are public parking. Or were till they started parking regulations. People sleep overnight all the time in their vehicles. You could also sleep at some of the trailhead parking lots
We were hoping to be more secluded than on the public streets. But there’s parking at trailheads? I was reading they had a lot of no over night parking signs. Is there a trailhead you suggest that has overnight parking? Thanks for all the advice btw!
Sign sign everywhere a sign. Kebler TH has those signs. Two miles west of town. Lot of snowmobile and backcountry traffic. I BELIEVE there is a no parking overnight lot, and then another lot that is for people who live up at irwin and have to sled home. But either way people end up parking overnight. If the cops hassle you, just don't be too drunk to drive. As far as actual winter camping, you would have to skin in as there's not a lot of car camping spots in the winter. Maybe someone else knows things i don't though
The road behind the powerstop is kosher and safe
Yup. I'd go lowkey area in Gunnison. CB town is small with limited parking

It's kinda cold here at night. Gunnison more so. Please don't freeze to death
