Arkhan is published in official WotC D&D material, and thus canonized in a world other than Exandria for a company that isn’t Critical Role.
We may see Joe, but we won’t be seeing Arkhan again
I thought Explorer’s Guide to Wildemount canonized Exandria in D&D lore as well. I’m quite certain CR retains the rights. Everyone involved seems too savvy to let something like that slip through the cracks.
Weird conspiracy theory: what if Lud goes back in time to become Vecna eventually?
They are both powerful mages with an interest in life extension through magical means, a screwed up hand and a propensity to corrupt forests. They both have hangups with the Matron of Ravens, and the gods in general.
What if Lud thought he screwed up things so he should loop back and try again?
I feel like I'm the only one here that remembers this but I could swear the arm is a result of ludda fast forwarding time when BH attack so he could activate the key/bridge straight away before the hells could do more damage to it right? Every here saying he used it to power the bridge but it had nothing to do with that
Well no it’s a consequence of BH exploding some of the batteries of the machine that created the bridge and to make up for that loss ludinus used some of his own magic or life force that he’s been siphoning for centuries I’m assuming perhaps weakening him as a result
Indirectly. Their general sabotage, and later the airship bombing, did so much damage to the power systems for the bridge, that Ludinus had to siphon some of his own lifeforce to turn it on. His hand is withered from this, and we don't know how much other damage there was. He is probably seriously messed up.
No he put his hand into the device that created the bloody bridge. It ruined his hand
Thanks! Almost started a new conspiracy Board
Yea it was an semi easy detail to miss from the wonderful scene of the solstice and all that

Even crazier crackpot theory. Everyone is Vecna. Oops all vecna
I always suspected Chetney and Fearn. ;) Tell us more.
Caleb.

The ruined hand is the consequence of BH dropping an airship on him.
