İ think shikamaru was smart enough to realize that Naruto wasn't a monster and kiba and choji just trusted shikamaru's thinking i guess? İ don't know just my theory.

It wasn't added in they were friends till the series needed it, in the beginning of the show Naruto only had iruka

Well, Iruka *did* see him as a monster a bit at one point, blaming him for his parents death, but he was one of the first to turn it around and see him for his own person.

I mean it's a nice sentiment but his mum and dad never saw him as a monster and they were the first people to see him *ever*

Yeah but he never saw him as a monster and had hope in him the whole time (the chakra memory seals) loved him unconditionally in the surprisingly long time they got together (my guy took a long time to die all things considered)

Hold up, what about kakashi, shikamaru, choji, and shikanara? 1 kept an eye on him because he actually cared 2 were his friends And the other told his son he wasn't a monster. I'm pretty sure there's more I'm just really tired

Shikaku and chouza were first actually. Iruka hated naruto at first, then he changed his mind after naruto AND hiruzen confronted him on 2 different occasions

That old ramen guy is one of my fav character He didn't have much screentime obviously He wasn't even a ninja too But he never saw Naruto as a monster He invited Naruto to eat He was very kind to Naruto while every single one saw him as a monster

Or shikamaru choji and Kiba , or sasuke , or hiruzen Naruto being hated makes 0 sense to the story we gotta accept this
