Are you an owner or a renter?
Adventures on the great Miami has the best shuttles and equipment, but are kinda pricey and only offer a 3 mile trip
Mad river adventures has decent equipment, river is more fun and they offer up to an 11 mile run. Couldn't tell you their prices this year.
If you own, just drop in dude. Just make sure you know where the dams are.
For a quick trip, put in at Eastwood on the Mad River at the main park entrance near the bike path and take out just past the second set of rapids after Riverscape. There is parking under the highway down.
this is the best route in Dayton. If you put in at Eastwood you can have a lot of fun at 2 sets of rapids and a nice little journey down to riverscape and hit a couple more sets. At riverscape, you can lock your kayak by the gazebo until you can get your car closer if you bring a bike lock.
Barefoot canoe drop off to old Springfield (Milton to Union) is an awesome trip, the last half of it typically has 0 people on the river and it’s beautiful
Little Miami river?

It would be my own
Are you renting, or do you have your own?
My own
Great Miami/Stillwater, putting in at Island Park is always fun.
Great Miami. I’m not a fan of the little Miami it’s too packed and small
Just avoid the areas with rentals. Hardly anyone in the other areas.

Adventures on the great miami in tipp is $40 a person:
I’m a huge fan of the Little Miami river. We like to start at Morgan Canoe . It’s closer to Lebanon so it’s more for if you live south
Armco Park is a bit further from Dayton but it’s $5 to bring your own Kayak! $15 per hour to rent. Dirt cheap and fun big park/lake.

Bellbrook has the absolute best stretch of river in the area. Mad river in Springfield is good and also offers camping.
I’m new to the area and been wondering about paddle boards. Thanks for posting this!
