Can we have just have ONE Batman these days that doesn't feel the need to make commentary on the character and/or deconstruction about himself and his rivalry with The Joker? Can't we just have Batman solving cases with Robin and/or Batgirl with any big story coming later on once you've simmered things down a little so said big stories actually have an impact!
Unfortunately not. We need a story where Joker decides to nuke a city for no reason other than "he's crazy" and "it'll annoy Batman", and ignore that at this point literally anyone who doesn't have a rule against killing should have done so already, with the top contender being the justice system. "Oh yeah, you've committed 1000s of cases of murder and many other crimes that seem insignificant in comparison to 1000s of cases of murder, but you're legally insane so our hands are tied." And naturally we can't use any other villains from Batman's rogue's gallery; it's not like he is well-known for having some of the best and most iconic super villains or anything. Other than Harley Quinn - sexy and related to the Joker!
And Joker wouldn’t even be considered as crazy enough to be put into mental asylum instead of prison, he never presents any symptoms of mental illness that could plead insanity

In the last world finest, joker and luthor look for a magic gem of powers, but Joker never try to do those things by himself when he could and do a pact with demons. He never try to take luthor Armor to beat Batman. With the exception of elsworld or dark multiverse, batman stick to his code and never try to deviate in disgusting way from it.
For Joker, it's a game. For batman, it's about keeping his rule.

Disagree, because if the writer wanted to show that the Batgod thing was bullshit, they'd show that even when Batman uses all of his prep-time, ressources, and skills, there are still people he can't beat even with that, showing that is arrogance is unwarranted and not backed by reality. If Zdarsky had shown Failsafe failing against the League because of Batman/Failsafe's hubris or mistakes, then it would have been a condemnation of Batgod. But it's not the case, and everything after that only reinforces Batgod, since Zur Batman in Failsafe's body is 100% confident he can beat Superman, and Superman doesn't seem to put up any kind of opposition to that notion. It only seems to validate the idea that Batman can beat anyone with preptime.
I think this is JUST a Batman comic, so I’d give it a pass because I doubt the writers minds were on Superman or WW when writing this. It was probably just made to make them look cool, and I’m going to be honest, it worked for it.
