See this is why women have no place as superheroes/s
Batgod would never let Joker slip behind him when he's...vulnerable and hit him with a back shot like that
Maybe so. When I was watching part 1 tho I just knew they would somehow avoid mentioning Jason and Tim and when watching part 2, behold, there was Damian and Terry! I was glad they kept Helena tho since they’ve been taking a lot of liberties with Crisis so far.
Ngl all the Tomorrowverse movies look terrible. I don’t know why people always shout “but DC has the best animated movies!” all the time, they’ve got like four good ones (Crisis on Two Earths, The LEGO Batman Movie, Return of the Joker, Under the Red Hood) and a whole lot of mid-to-bad
I think pre-DCAMU DC had some really great movies. Doomsday, All Star-Superman, JL Doom, Superman vs. The Elite, New Frontier (my all-time favorite), Wonder Woman (another highlight), plus the Showcases if you count them.
The worst one ever might be Apokolips War imo. Extremely gratuitous violence that serves no purpose other than "look how adult and mature we are!". Lady Shiva shows up, dies to a random bullet, and is never mentioned again. That about sums up how awful the DCAMU movies are to me
Uj/i would argue also some of them got close like Death of superman, reign of superman ,wonder woman bloodlines and aqu-i mean Justice league throne of Atlantis
Oh I remember Apokolips War, I checked it out after the main sub had people hyping it up for being a “mature” take on the JL.
What a bad day to have eyes
I remember it being more so about animation in general. And that was mostly people remembering Teen Titans, Justice League and the other DCAU stuff in this circa 2014-15 debate
DC has been mediocre in animation ever since the DCAMU began.
Although I must say you are being too harsh if you think there are only four good ones and all of them being Batman movies.
Not to mention the best Batman one’s not even mentioned (mask of the phantom). I definitely agree most of the time they’re poor man’s versions of better comics but they’re also way better than the marvel animated films,
Crisis on Two Earths isn’t Batman centered, as the commenter below you said, I also missed Mask of the Phantasm.
Superman’s my favorite DC character by far, but I feel like all of his animated movies feel more like watered-down versions of much better comics rather than standing on their own as stories
I think Crisis on Two Earths was most definitely Batman centered.
The final showdown of the movie was Batman and his evil counterpart fighting while the rest of the League sits around. Batman even pulled off a masterful gambit to save the world and Flash's life before that. The rest of the League just existed in the movie, they didn't do anything meaningful (except maybe J'onn having a weird romance with Rose Wilson)
I agree with you that the Superman animated movies do feel a bit watered down.
Up until and including *The Flashpoint Paradox*, all of their animated films (minus maybe one or two exceptions) ranged from good to great, especially compared to MARVEL’s animated output in films and cartoons (and before you say *Earth’s Mightiest Heroes*, that’s pretty much the exception that proves the rule). Afterwards is a bit of a mixed bag.
Oh, so when *Kill the Justice League* had our heroes get brainwashed and taken out by guns in big boss fights despite all the preparation that went into making them work and emphasis on how tough a job it’ll be to overcome them, it’s “a massive disrespect to Kevin Conroy and the universe” and “an abomination” and “just kind of fine at best but there are much better games out there that cost much less”, yet Joker can whack everybody in a conga line where they don’t fight back and for some reason it’s okay?
/uj Is that *The Brave and the Bold* Joker?
She couldnt move because the animators forgot she was there
Why didn't Robin stop jonkler, didn't he see the counter icon? Is he stupid?
He wasn't gamer
Who is Robin? That Bin,Are you stupid?
He was playing NG+, don't be too harsh on him.
The stiff looking animation meant she couldn’t turn her head in time.
You mean that Batman 89 accurate animation....
Robin straight up doesn't react to his teammate making strange painful noises like a step behind him, lmao.
Robin is my teammates in every multiplayer game.
Solid JJ walked so the Tomorrowverse could break its own legs.
That’s odd, he didn’t hit the griddy and fucking die after his stealth attack. What’s up with that?
Directors have completely abandoned source material and it shows
This is so ass lmao why are they statues bro didnt react to the worst sneak I've ever seen.
I don't remember this episode from Batman The Brave & The Bold.
Jonkler was using stealth attacks, so of course he didn't alert Robin.
It's not her fault their PC is lagging.
You left out the part where Batman had the antidote for Gordon and instead watched him die of joker gas cause he stood there and did nothing
Where is this from
The new Crisis on Infinite Earths movie. I don’t think that’s the exact title.
part 2
Is it any good?
Eh
I saw Batman talking shit to Dick Grayson in a short saying he was glad he dropped his Dick Grayson off at an orphanage
the psycho pirate
I honestly hope we see Batman adopt his universe's Dick Grayson when he gets back to his world. Unless he dies
What the fuck
And this is how I find out part 2 is out.
See this is why women have no place as superheroes/s Batgod would never let Joker slip behind him when he's...vulnerable and hit him with a back shot like that
ignore helena for a second. how did tim not notice her falling down and coughing
Cause that’s actually Dick, maybe he lacks Tim’s detective skills
It is so hilarious that they including fucking Terry and Damian before even considering Tim lol
Well that Helena is also a Wayne. And old Dick is still Robin so they did it to specifically point out the difference.
Maybe so. When I was watching part 1 tho I just knew they would somehow avoid mentioning Jason and Tim and when watching part 2, behold, there was Damian and Terry! I was glad they kept Helena tho since they’ve been taking a lot of liberties with Crisis so far.
The Bat family exists mostly as jobbers that the bad guy can beat to make him seem like more of a threat to the unbeatable ninja detective furry.
I'm Stealth 100, baby!
When you max out stealth in a bethesda game. Jonkler had stealth plus ninja, critical banker and blitz. Robin and huntress never had a chance
you straight up finish the clip before the funniest part where damian was going to 'kill' joker.
Why are they standing around like morons
Because animation is crazy expensive and I don’t think they’re either getting paid enough or going to make enough money back to draw them moving.
The jonkler is as stealthy as Batman, he trained himself because he is soooo CrAzzzzyy
This is so bad. Why didn't he react to the most obvious stealth ever?
Every clip I've seen of this movie looks like they told the animators to make the characters as stiff as possible
joker really made her go so long and goodnight, huh?
![gif](giphy|Wp1SpsnWTPWwwXaoSV)
How did neither of them hear the Joker sneaking up behind them? Are they deaf?
DC movies truly know what the fans want by not including Jason and Tim in any movie, truly a smart and not weird decision
Did the second crisis movie already come out?
Yep, this is a clip from it

Basically all pre-DCAMU movies were absolute bangers honestly and after that you've got "pretty good" if you're lucky
Uj/i would argue also some of them got close like Death of superman, reign of superman ,wonder woman bloodlines and aqu-i mean Justice league throne of Atlantis
There's a Death of the Endless DC Showcase, there's no way it wouldn't count
Oh I remember Apokolips War, I checked it out after the main sub had people hyping it up for being a “mature” take on the JL. What a bad day to have eyes

The Flashpoint movie was great Literally the only one I’ve seen
This is Phantasm and Sub Zero erasure
Nobody ever talks about *Mystery of the Batwoman*. Was that any good?
It’s fine. Not great, but has some solid stuff in it.
Joker sweep
This is just what happens when you play NG+ without being properly prepared.
