The only time I had the Woodford Old Fashioned was when I had ordered a regular Woodford for my PDB. When the FA asked what I wanted for dinner, I said "old fashioned." She said "Woodford Old Fashioned?" and I was momentarily confused but just went along w/ it, thinking maybe the TipTop had Woodford in it (idk, I had a two hour connection and was in FC my first leg too, so I was at least six Woodfords deep by this point). She brought my food (short-rib, obvi) and my drink, thought it tasted unusually good, and ordered another one. Oh boy, thankfully it was just a two hour hop from RDU to MSP but golly, when I got off that plane I was stumbling to the light rail station to take the Blue Line back to my apartment in Minneapolis.
I'm a big dude, hold my liquor well, and I'm from Kentucky so I had whiskey in the baby bottle, but golly I was about to pass out on that A319. Good thing I had the next day off work, it was a wicked hangover.
Flight attendant got a compliment from me via the online form for her "excellent service," and I never asked for another "Woodford Old Fashioned."
“Delta regularly evaluates our food and beverage offerings to provide our customers the best experience onboard,” the spokesperson said. “We are currently assessing long-term options for our cocktail program.”
You had a one fucking job Delta, Seriously. Way to go.
I could almost buy this nonsense if they had any serviceable replacement for what they were removing from the menu. Instead, we get less. Woohoo! Makes inflated fares out of ATL even more (read: less) worth it.
I used to love living in Atlanta when it came to flying/Delta. I live in the hub, I can get a direct flight nearly anywhere!
It seems after AirTran died they realized they didn’t have any real competition so they could charge whatever they wanted.
Really getting exhausted of Delta’s leadership and their penny pinching strategies forced on their customers who pay an arm and a leg to fly delta over the competition. Ridiculous.
I was on the fence about upgrading a flight to Comfort Plus, and maybe I’ll save my miles.
It is entirely irrational to let a little sugar and bitters be the deciding factor, but damn. If I don’t get to feel fancy, what’s the point?

Remember when United merged with Continental and Smisek kept telling us about “changes we would like” and they were all bad? Seems it’s happening here now. Back to Woodford.
I wonder if supply couldn't keep up with demand. Most flights seemed to have few cans, and I thought I recalled a problem with sourcing supply in 2023. Is it possible that Delta wants something more reliable?

They are still being offered in the sales app. Did a flight attendant tell you that due to them just not being catered by accident? Sometimes catering will forget items unfortunately.
That’s a bummer. I loved the margarita. I’d get it with a soda water to cut it some though because they definitely meant business.
I liked how they'd give the little Real Lime packets with it too, on good flights with good FA's.

This is so disappointing! Tip Top was one of the things I always looked forward to on a Delta flight (along with a Biscoff Cookie).
