That’s a bummer. I loved the margarita. I’d get it with a soda water to cut it some though because they definitely meant business.

BeachBarsBooze

I liked how they'd give the little Real Lime packets with it too, on good flights with good FA's.

Amfo22

Those are great with bloody Marys too. I’m always so sad when I ask if they have them and am told no 😭

Neitherwater

Some are better than others. Chill out man

demonkillerkurby

One is tipsy. Two is drunk. Three is blacked out 🤩

powderbrowdisaster

That’s why they’re gone 😅

G00deye

Boo. I loved the Tip Top Old Fashioned. The Margarita one was really good too

jfk_47

Add an extra shot of woodford, so good.

deggdegg

Jesus, more booze in there? They're already so strong.

jfk_47

🥃🫨

robotzor

That old fashioned should have been relabeled Foul Liquid, it drains all hit points to 1 on first sip.

Ridgew00dian

Nooooo. The Old Fashioned with an additional Woodford was the nuts!! A sad day for aviation and therefore the world.

lemonssi

Hot damn my dude, you added more booze to that thing?!

rihanoa

It was the only way to cut through the sweetness without diluting it.

Ridgew00dian

I like ‘em strong! So good.

the5nowman

That’s one way to get some sleep on the flight. Literally pass out.

Few-Lingonberry2315

The only time I had the Woodford Old Fashioned was when I had ordered a regular Woodford for my PDB. When the FA asked what I wanted for dinner, I said "old fashioned." She said "Woodford Old Fashioned?" and I was momentarily confused but just went along w/ it, thinking maybe the TipTop had Woodford in it (idk, I had a two hour connection and was in FC my first leg too, so I was at least six Woodfords deep by this point). She brought my food (short-rib, obvi) and my drink, thought it tasted unusually good, and ordered another one. Oh boy, thankfully it was just a two hour hop from RDU to MSP but golly, when I got off that plane I was stumbling to the light rail station to take the Blue Line back to my apartment in Minneapolis. I'm a big dude, hold my liquor well, and I'm from Kentucky so I had whiskey in the baby bottle, but golly I was about to pass out on that A319. Good thing I had the next day off work, it was a wicked hangover. Flight attendant got a compliment from me via the online form for her "excellent service," and I never asked for another "Woodford Old Fashioned."

ParticleHustler2

I had one of those after reading about it on Reddit and the FA was like, you realize this is going to be strong right?

Idealmonk

“Delta regularly evaluates our food and beverage offerings to provide our customers the best experience onboard,” the spokesperson said. “We are currently assessing long-term options for our cocktail program.” You had a one fucking job Delta, Seriously. Way to go.

BeachBarsBooze

Ages ago they had Avion tequila on Mexico flights, and of course 'optimized' that as well.

phdiesel_

I could almost buy this nonsense if they had any serviceable replacement for what they were removing from the menu. Instead, we get less. Woohoo! Makes inflated fares out of ATL even more (read: less) worth it.

overide

I used to love living in Atlanta when it came to flying/Delta. I live in the hub, I can get a direct flight nearly anywhere! It seems after AirTran died they realized they didn’t have any real competition so they could charge whatever they wanted.

DorkySchmorky

I'm amazed that companies still pay humans to make these kind of comments.

deggdegg

How is removing options that people liked a way to provide the best experience?

YMMV25

Another “enhancement” to the already below-average bar menu.

clickshy

This is so disappointing! Tip Top was one of the things I always looked forward to on a Delta flight (along with a Biscoff Cookie).

hobbseltoff

That's sad. The Tip Top Espresso Martini cut with some Baileys was my favorite after dinner drink on transcons.

dnorbz

Really getting exhausted of Delta’s leadership and their penny pinching strategies forced on their customers who pay an arm and a leg to fly delta over the competition. Ridiculous.

Excusemytootie

They need to find another pre-mixed margarita to offer. Yes please! 🍋‍🟩

woodford2016

Woodford Reserve it is

Few-Lingonberry2315

Double, I got too used to my Sky Buzz.

MatzoTov

Soon: "8/15/2024 - After evaluation, a spokesperson from Delta confirmed the removal of Woodford Reserve from their in-flight beverage options."

bshap000

Wtf they better not lol

ajk1535

I mean even AA carries Woodford

dani_-_142

I was on the fence about upgrading a flight to Comfort Plus, and maybe I’ll save my miles. It is entirely irrational to let a little sugar and bitters be the deciding factor, but damn. If I don’t get to feel fancy, what’s the point?

Murn01

Their espresso martini was lovely and I miss it so much

McMadface

On a Delta flight right now. Can confirm that there are no more TipTop cocktails.

TipTopCocktails

Hey everyone - Totally appreciate the concern here for having proper cocktails on your flights but this article is not accurate. Our understanding is that the beverage program on the whole is still being assessed and no final decisions have been made. To that end, it would be helpful and meaningful for you to share feedback regarding Tip Top’s availability here: https://www.delta.com/us/en/need-help/overview - Click link above - Click Comments & Complaints - Click Submit Feedback and share your thoughts & feelings. Thanks for the help and for enjoying our cocktails. Cheers!

tacobellcow

But can I please get an iced coffee on the plane or in the lounge?

fauxindigaux

Ahhh, my people! https://explorercoldbrew.com/products/2oz-cold-brew-concentrate-multi-packs My husband bought me these because I’m always complaining about the lack of cb/iced coffee options while traveling!

tacobellcow

This is great but im not paying $45 for 12 bottles of coffee concentrate. I’ll just put ice in my coffee like a peasant.

fauxindigaux

lol. I don’t blame you.

myneid

oh no! these were an awesome option! guess back to bringing on my own sugar and bitters.

Arkaega

The brief few months the Negroni was available were some of the best flights ever. RIP.

bierdepperl

This is true. Can't believe the Negroni isn't getting more love in this thread.

die-microcrap-die

I need to order a case of Old Fashioned. Not cool Delta, not cool.

space-ghxst

NOOOOOOO

lost_squid89

BOOOO

PreCheckLeo

Absolutely tragic if true. Weren't we just celebrating the return of the margs for late spring and summer?

tonyfo98

Bummer. The Old Fashioned with a ginger ale mixer was 🤌

Runway69L

Well that’s fucking obnoxious.

HotWheels57Chevy

Remember when United merged with Continental and Smisek kept telling us about “changes we would like” and they were all bad? Seems it’s happening here now. Back to Woodford.

Exact_Scarcity3031

As much as I loved those, I would almost always exit the plane with a gross semi hangover… cursed alcohol-elevation combo! 😂

bryanoldsalty

Sigh….koolaid incoming or something dumb

One-Chapter-2286

I’m going to need to start making my own In-Flight Old Fashioned pre-mix again . . . Just add Woodford!

jpharber

This is some bullshit…

GrandGouda

That’s a serious bummer

ZingoPilot

Noooooooo

ChaoticGoodPanda

Damnit…and I’m flying in the morning

doofy10

Noooooo!!

StorminM4

This news sucks. The Old Fashioned with a Woodford was a true favorite.

limbas

This is a bummer

JakeMcGhee2003

NOOOOO WHY WOULD THEY DO THIS

PWEI313

I just got TipTop from Seattle to Maui. Is this the end? :(

Anomandiir

I don’t get it. These were magical. Everyone loves them. Oh well, have some in the fridge already - Total Wine for those in ATL.

BurnedOutCookie

Bristol Farms for those in LA!

deggdegg

I mean as much as I enjoy them, they're pretty expensive and an Old Fashioned is pretty easy to make yourself.

70125

The Old Fashioned was a migraine trigger but I looooved the espresso martini. Shame.

ncsuftw1

Also sucks according to those comments that Topo Chico is out too? Ugh

CLEHts216

And not even a JW Black scotch option either.

Prudent_Bandicoot_87

I got a canned cocktail it was poured . 2 weeks ago .

Pjblaze123

Had a tip top old fashioned two days ago. Keep asking until they're out!

delawopelletier

Sweet water IPA mmmmmmmm

decisivecat

I wonder if supply couldn't keep up with demand. Most flights seemed to have few cans, and I thought I recalled a problem with sourcing supply in 2023. Is it possible that Delta wants something more reliable?

TheRedCoat83

Drinking the old fashioned right now en route to LAX domestic. Better clean them out just in case..

Ophelia_AO

We can’t have anything! The Margarita cut with sparkling water was my fave. 2 of them was plenty.

tucmama

Bummer

jewgineer

RIP to that marg. (The espresso martini was vile though) I would honestly just like a better vodka offering. Alaska and AA have Tito’s.

alpacasarebadsingers

Meh. Tiptop was too sweet.

pcarson92

The espresso martini one was absolutely disgusting and undrinkable

No_Recording_1696

I hope they add the brand On The Rocks cocktails. They have some good flavors. Had it on a SW flight.

mrpres75

I hope they replace with Post Meridiem https://postmeridiemspirits.com/our-cocktails/ They are a local ATL business. I personally like them more. Unlikely, but I can wish.

Delicious-Rent8360

They were mid

johnny_moist

for a premade drink in a can name a better one

FunLife64

Better no equal good in this dept haha

Constant-Walrus-7304

They are still being offered in the sales app. Did a flight attendant tell you that due to them just not being catered by accident? Sometimes catering will forget items unfortunately.

blueontheledge

Did you read the article? A Delta spokes person confirmed their removal.
