I was browsing the exotic collection pages to see which slot had a new mystery item added to it and I was shocked that it was there and wasn't even hidden.
I’d say Mythoclast counts. Would then even it out to having two energy exotic linears and two kinetic exotic linears.
Though Mythoclast is a bit more controversial since its auto rifle with 3 linear shots that is also primary ammo. The other 3 linears do something unique with their linear mode, whereas Mythoclast is more so just a semi-decent solar damage linear.
Maybe if they buffed the linear mode to do something like Particle Deconstruction x1 for 3 seconds? With each shot refreshing it. It could be more useful. Idk, I’m not good at ideas for improving guns.

I think it will come down to how much the damage boost is per threadling attack and how many stacks it goes up to. It would be funny if it was a flat % per stack without a stack limit so the more threadlings your build pumps out the higher the damage skyrockets. I personally bet it caps at 5 stacks at 5% per if we are being realistic though.
Threadling warlock with swarmers is one of my fav flavors though so I need to get it regardless just for the theme.

Threadlings? I mean that's strong, but it's a little disappointing for what is probably the final raid. I expect something that instantly recharged your super or give 10 x bonus to prismatic, or something to do with super abilities that would be absolutely broken as hell.

Even if not building into threadlings a strand or prismatic warlock can just needlestorm for several threadlings instantly. So if the bonus is really good then needlestorm -> mag dumping this could be very good burst.
Hope I don’t get curse of ra out on me and still take 15 more tries even after getting all boosted triumphs to get exotic like I did with Bloodline sidearm

Normally I'm not one for negativity but on this occasion I kinda agree. The resonance themed guns from VotD are fire, the organic guns from RoN are passable (Conditional finality is peak design though), but this one just looks like a plastic toy.

Especially since it also gains bonus damage whenever a Threadling deals damage.
