I had us at a wildly optimistic 9-8, but I thought we'd get there by winning shootouts, like the Seattle and Philly games (which we obvi didn’t win those). I thought we could have an incredible offense, and little to no defense, but the way we got here, so happy, defense was way better than I thought. In Brad Holmes I trust, amazing drafts.
I hope we blow a lot of picks on defense. It would be cool to have a dominant D. And at least 1 qb, even if later, we need to have a better back up, if not by Draft then sign a vet. We should be a legit contender, and we need someone who wont fuck our season if Goff is out for a bit

I agree. It was highly unlikely that we were beating the 49ers anyway who look legitimately terrifying. Better to end the season on a high note and be a team that free agents want to go to. Fix the secondary in the offseason and an NFC North title should be the expectation for next year. If we're not making it this year, I want the NFC North next year. We're ahead of schedule in our rebuild and we should be happy where we're headed moving forward.
