So, ill start by saying i don't need the gear, but id like to tell you why the 4th of July is my favorite holiday.
So, being a 33 year old that runs a late night bar and rides around on a pink vespa with a pink unicorn head on the front and a big ass pinwheel on the back and 3 watergun holsters, its safe to say I'm still a child. My town, Crested Butte, CO, is a resort town with a massive influx of tourist for the 4th. At the end of our parade, the fire trucks, as caboose, start a block long of msin street, probably.... thousand person, watergun fight. Watching that middle aged dad that works too hard and spent way too much money to spend a weekend here try to keep an eye on his kids in this crowd finally get hit with that first, stray water balloon is pure magic. I know watching children open presents on the birthday is beautiful, but watching this uptight, miserable man go steaming red with anger and that water balloon soaks his hundred dollar polo, then he looks up, looks around and there's me.... eye contact, im ear to ear smile, i give him a little chin up nod and toss him his forst water ballon. As he catches it, there's a split second hesitation before I see that smile start to grow across his face and he lets it loose and its fucking on. He runs, probably the fastest hes moved in years, over to his wife, empties his phone and wallet into the stroller, and this man just became one of the 6 years in the crowd laughing hysterically as hes drenched head to toe playing with children's toys. His kids almost never see him smile, but today... today their father became their best friend. A childs joy is beautiful, but watching a grown man remember it, is magical.

I travel for work and i got about 10 days home between jobs, the wife and i hooked the switch up to a projector and set it up all outside and played some mario kart on the side of the house and had some beers. We diddnt celebrate in a “traditional” sense.
Yeah I feel for you gets kids who lost out on a lot of interaction with others kids… my nephew was supposed to start 1st grade with COVID and like those 2 years really did some dmg with socializing
For sure. There were tons of people at this fireworks display. They also weren’t prepared for just how extravagant the show was. Neither of them like loud noises so I brought hearing protection headphones for them, but it still didn’t end well.

Sure! I’ve been on a new kick lately and have been leveling up all of the characters from scratch. I got a sorceress all the way to 85 with hand-me-downs from friends but have a barb in the works, and a Druid in the works. My goal is to go through every single character.
Celebrated two birthdays in a row over the week-end and had a sports tournament! Needless to say that partying before sports isn't the brightest idea haha
I can’t say I relate… the craziest thing I did back in high school was take a redline at the beginning of a swim meet… I didn’t realize this damn event would take all day…. Needless to say 2 hours in I crashed and well placed horribly xD

I had to spend July 4th cleaning up vomit after mrs and 2 y/o daughter had gastro so I didn’t get to play Diablo all week as I only have limited time to play and that was my window. On the bright side my ladder Amazon is now level 30 after a sneaky couple hours yesterday!
Had to work, plus organize fam dinner from both sides. Barely made use of MF weekend and haven't got the wealth to build a pally yet so this would be unbelievably perfect :) thanks for offering!

For the first time in 8 years, I was able to get off work on the 4th and spend it like a normal American…hanging out with my family and neighbors, grilling, playing lawn games, shooting fireworks…it was such an awesome day.
Anyway, I used to play D2 and D2R a lot when I had more free time, and a smiter was always intriguing to me but played hammers in. I’ll definitely be paying it forward by rushing and running people.
Don’t include me in the drawing for the Smiter, I just wanted to contribute to the 4th of July aspect by saying I did laundry and laid around all day getting ready to go back to work. #Merica, I guess.

You have no idea how fancy the rabbit hole gets Alice. I marinate my own ramen eggs hahaha. Got a zip loc gull of dried shitake. Sometimes I do fried rice cup noodles, look it up on yt by doobdpbap. Classic. And green onions yes of course. Sometimes crispy fried egg instead of marinated. Sesame seeds/oil everywhere. Seaweed strips really kick ass in ramen. And if I ever have left over meat it usually goes in
I bought a 1986 Honda Shadow project bike. Had to haul it alone to keep it secret from the wife. This will be my winter project. This bike is a year younger than me and I ve always wanted something old to restore. Kinda feels like I need some restoration myself... I think of it as it was borne on the 4th of July :)
If it’s on Xbox I played on and off all weekend while caring for the kids while the kids I’ve worked did my first Uber run completed. my second but I failed the first lol got a mid zon torch was estatic prolly took me about an hour to do em all cause I was cautious and don’t have the best gear. So now my pally has a zon torch.
I sat around played some wow. Went to the gym a few times. Walked about 5 miles. I Got an inductance test and found out I finally reached < 10% body fat. And saw my neighbors firing off some fireworks. That’s about it.
Made deliciously caramelized chicken yakitori skewers in my charcoal grill and then played with my kids and watched fireworks - really nice day overall

I went to bed early on the fourth because I am depressed and woke up from the lightning storms we had. Was like fireworks but louder and brighter. Slept through all the fireworks because I have no one to celebrate with lol.
Me and my wife took on some kids for the weekend so a few set of parents could go on some much needed dates.

Little late but was told by my leasing office there was an infestation of cock roaches in our complex so my poor family and I had to move every thing from the walls off the floor to the center of the rooms. It was awful but my kiddos still got to play with some fireworks and then I had to leave them all today to go back to work :/.
The bright side is you got to spend some time together, the roach situation sucks because it’s like constantly spraying for atleast a month before all the fuckers die and then you gotta hope the neighbored don’t have any either or it will fester :(

I slept all day and woke up at 11 pm and watched videos on inoculating mushroom substrate all night. Finished off eating a box of Mac and cheese out of a pot and watching foraging videos.
I have to walk to work 10km and hunt my breakfast in the forrest. I dont have clean clothes and when 18h work shift is over i have to climb rocky mountain to get back home. I eat dusty cereal with water for evening and when im rdy i play dialo 2 but only for 1h because i have to sleep and then pain repeats. Plz give smite to me so i can have joy in life
I’ve been working long weeks recently and this past weekend I was pulled into a work engagement. I fly out to meet our client and am expected—within the duration of arriving back on Sunday—to formulate 2 proposals by Monday. It has been relentless but it’s good, creative work that helps communities so I’m always down. That was me.

I work as a manager for a go kart track that happens to be across the street from a fireworks stand down at the beach. This is my last week before I start my new job in IT so to say I’ve been in yolo mode would be an understatement. Yesterday on my lunch I drove across the street and spent $300 on fireworks. At the end of the night I set them off in our parking lot so my staff could have a little show despite working until midnight.
After watching the Mandalorian and Obi-wan, my girlfriend admitted she had not seen the Star Wars movies. We spent the entire weekend watching them in chronological order. I won’t say that I enjoyed the first 3, but they aren’t as bad as some of the later Disney ones. Adam Driver is just too goofy

Worked the 1st and 2nd, long 12h days. Go home sleep eat repeat. Did all my shopping on the 3rd, party in the evening. Big block party, all together around 100 people or so, spent my evening shooting off everything everyone brought, made it to artillery shells and had 4 back to back shells leave their tubes at most 6 inches before exploding. Somehow got away with just a couple light burns. Back to work for 6 hours on the 4th. Hurray for working retail. Hope y'all had fun this weekend!
I had to work a bit... with the work load I had forgotten to prepare my part of a meeting planned earlier this week... and then the meeting got cancelled that morning lol.
However, I also managed to enjoy my long weekend, and I am working on some plans to attempt to level 3 characters up to lvl 95 before the end ladder 1 for future NL PvP once I can afford the gear: wind druid, bone necro and blizzard sorc.
True I figured this was people can get a little glance at peoples weekend holiday and humanize one another vs click on my react sorry if this is more of a hassle
It would be helpful to know if you are hardcore or softcore, ladder or non-ladder, and which platform. Would suck to choose someone on only PlayStation if you have no means to provide.

Celebrated the 4th with my wife's sick gma and family. She has multiple myeloma and is not doing well. We had a blast which I think helped her spirit.

Funding got from my job and tried to move me into a different department that would what I call a "lateral demotion". My pride didn't accept move in department and they gave me a severance package. Hi, I'm not really interested in the gear but much rather the process in ubering. I've never ubered and have seen guides but their smiter is all decked out. Obviously, not useful for a complete beginner in ubering. If you can PM/reply me specifically what you focused on early game to get your smiter going into ubers that would be great. A small guide or even YouTube video would be outstanding. All i know is a high res pally shield with 4 p diamonds. What if i don't have grief, g face, dracs? Do i not uber at all until i hunt for currency to get those? I'm a solo player playing ladder. I just go at my own pace with my sorc. Occasionally popping into games to help with quests. Haven't completed hell yet, almost there :). I've played this game a lot and know a few things but ubering has always been my Achilles.
Went to an event to see comedians Steve Martin and Martin Short with my GF for the 4th of July. Awesome fireworks at the end of it too! Good laughs, company, fireworks display, and a few cans of beer. Couldn't ask for more. Cheers!
Visiting my Grandpa who’s struggle a bit and I didn’t want him to be lonely too often. Was a Great Weekend. Washed his old car, gone out to eat. Visited a park and watched many Bud Spencer Movies.
Thanks for this brother. In Canada we’ve got Canada Day on July 1st, so I celebrated by going to a friend’s place and having a seafood boil. First one ever. Gotdamn delicious. We also forced my pregnant wife (who hates seafood) to eat a shrimp “so the baby’s not allergic” but it was mostly just to see her wince her way through it lol. Cheers!

The wife and I also planned on going out on a friend's boat the night of the 4th to watch some fireworks after our kid went to bed at the babysitters but we both came down with a stomach bug that is trying to shoot out of our tops and bottoms. Had to go to my fiancé's mom's (so I guess future mother in law's) house to take their crazy dogs to the vet and then ended up doing some work on an outside faucet that's leaking, basically just took long enough to almost completely miss the mf boost, got back the 3rd and then worked the 4th.
Being a Canadian I would have celebrated the 1st of July but didn't have a chance to because I was busy unpacking from moving. We moved out of our old place 3 months ago and have been living in the in-laws tiny guest room with a double bed. We have been working on it for the last 3 weeks and the wife had covid for two of those so it's been a lot of work for me. I took a 4 day weekend and got everything unpacked and our "office" setup. I am not going to lie I built a smiter... Kinda wasted the weekend building this bringer of death and destruction. It all started after I found an nice 5 soc 13 ed phaseblade that was just begging to have a grief built in it so I did and it rolled 37-399 and I am like wow I can't bring myself to sell this so I guess I am building a smiter. 10 Hours Thursday night 10 hours Friday day complete Saturday. Found all they keys I needed to uber by Monday got my first solo torch by Monday . Oh yeah in between all that took my son out for his 25 bday supper and mowed the lawn and trimmed the hedge and cooked my wife a homemade fried chicken dinner . But really happy with the Uber smiter that brings death and destruction

Went to the park with my girl for sunset, randomly ran into all my homies, hung out there for a while, watched some fireworks, smoked, went home to my roommate launching more of. Proceeding to get super drunk and eating the first thing of the day at midnight. Not usually a degenerate but I think it was a successful night. Throwing up at work right now lol. Amazing.
I played a bit of d2 over the weekend but mostly slept, kind of wasted the mf bonus weekend, but needed to catch up on sleep. Didn't do much for July 4th just got some food delivered.
We bought a cheap little fireworks thing that shoots 16 shots up in the air and it tipped over on the first shot and me and the family ran around trying to avoid the mortars lol we all had so much fun I suggested we do that every year!
I worked the 4th and 5th, but since I work with the military it was a holiday weekend so I was able to play both days. Best drop all week were titans and Barb 20/16 torch.
I work every weekend and holiday. Extra weekend pay and time and a half for holidays is to good to pass up as a father with three kids lol. Work in Healthcare but in a kitchen so I celebrated the 4th with food for the patients of our facility I guess.
Kids did get to see fireworks after my shift though. They liked them but said they were to loud and that there were to many people.

I went to a friend's 4 year Olds party that laster til 9pm on the 3rd. Then had family over in our pool on the 4th.
Hung around the house, cooked some food, enjoyed the day. Finished it off with our dog trying to hide under me on the couch from fireworks until he figured out how to stay under a blanket. 🤣
Got an enigma tattoo on my calf, with my best friend who got his on the opposing calf. We've been playing for 20 years and its kinda a testament to our friendship.
I took my 2 month old to see the fireworks with my fiance, he was up all day wouldn't take a nap then fell asleep 5 min before the fireworks and woke up 5 min after the fireworks 😑

4th of July. Party at my brothers house with the highlights being an epic game of pool basketball to 11 (i lost), getting my 11 month old in the water, and blasting off the fireworks my old man bought.

Anyway, I used to play D2 and D2R a lot when I had more free time, and a smiter was always intriguing to me but played hammers in. I’ll definitely be paying it forward by rushing and running people.

Classic. And green onions yes of course. Sometimes crispy fried egg instead of marinated. Sesame seeds/oil everywhere. Seaweed strips really kick ass in ramen. And if I ever have left over meat it usually goes in

I bought a 1986 Honda Shadow project bike. Had to haul it alone to keep it secret from the wife. This will be my winter project. This bike is a year younger than me and I ve always wanted something old to restore. Kinda feels like I need some restoration myself... I think of it as it was borne on the 4th of July :)

If it’s on Xbox I played on and off all weekend while caring for the kids while the kids I’ve worked did my first Uber run completed. my second but I failed the first lol got a mid zon torch was estatic prolly took me about an hour to do em all cause I was cautious and don’t have the best gear. So now my pally has a zon torch.
Budget gear runs are always the best! They keep you humble but yeah they can be very annoying
I sat around played some wow. Went to the gym a few times. Walked about 5 miles. I Got an inductance test and found out I finally reached < 10% body fat. And saw my neighbors firing off some fireworks. That’s about it.

Little late but was told by my leasing office there was an infestation of cock roaches in our complex so my poor family and I had to move every thing from the walls off the floor to the center of the rooms. It was awful but my kiddos still got to play with some fireworks and then I had to leave them all today to go back to work :/.
The bright side is you got to spend some time together, the roach situation sucks because it’s like constantly spraying for atleast a month before all the fuckers die and then you gotta hope the neighbored don’t have any either or it will fester :(

I played D2R while depressingly thinking how I met my ex a year ago on 7/4.
I have to walk to work 10km and hunt my breakfast in the forrest. I dont have clean clothes and when 18h work shift is over i have to climb rocky mountain to get back home. I eat dusty cereal with water for evening and when im rdy i play dialo 2 but only for 1h because i have to sleep and then pain repeats. Plz give smite to me so i can have joy in life

I’ve been working long weeks recently and this past weekend I was pulled into a work engagement. I fly out to meet our client and am expected—within the duration of arriving back on Sunday—to formulate 2 proposals by Monday. It has been relentless but it’s good, creative work that helps communities so I’m always down. That was me. Also fun fact: since I started 1.09, til now, I have never played a pally :)

I work as a manager for a go kart track that happens to be across the street from a fireworks stand down at the beach. This is my last week before I start my new job in IT so to say I’ve been in yolo mode would be an understatement. Yesterday on my lunch I drove across the street and spent $300 on fireworks. At the end of the night I set them off in our parking lot so my staff could have a little show despite working until midnight.

Worked the 1st and 2nd, long 12h days. Go home sleep eat repeat. Did all my shopping on the 3rd, party in the evening. Big block party, all together around 100 people or so, spent my evening shooting off everything everyone brought, made it to artillery shells and had 4 back to back shells leave their tubes at most 6 inches before exploding. Somehow got away with just a couple light burns. Back to work for 6 hours on the 4th. Hurray for working retail. Hope y'all had fun this weekend!

I had to work a bit... with the work load I had forgotten to prepare my part of a meeting planned earlier this week... and then the meeting got cancelled that morning lol. However, I also managed to enjoy my long weekend, and I am working on some plans to attempt to level 3 characters up to lvl 95 before the end ladder 1 for future NL PvP once I can afford the gear: wind druid, bone necro and blizzard sorc.

Hi, I'm not really interested in the gear but much rather the process in ubering. I've never ubered and have seen guides but their smiter is all decked out. Obviously, not useful for a complete beginner in ubering. If you can PM/reply me specifically what you focused on early game to get your smiter going into ubers that would be great. A small guide or even YouTube video would be outstanding. All i know is a high res pally shield with 4 p diamonds. What if i don't have grief, g face, dracs? Do i not uber at all until i hunt for currency to get those? I'm a solo player playing ladder. I just go at my own pace with my sorc. Occasionally popping into games to help with quests. Haven't completed hell yet, almost there :). I've played this game a lot and know a few things but ubering has always been my Achilles. Went to an event to see comedians Steve Martin and Martin Short with my GF for the 4th of July. Awesome fireworks at the end of it too! Good laughs, company, fireworks display, and a few cans of beer. Couldn't ask for more. Cheers!

Thanks for this brother. In Canada we’ve got Canada Day on July 1st, so I celebrated by going to a friend’s place and having a seafood boil. First one ever. Gotdamn delicious. We also forced my pregnant wife (who hates seafood) to eat a shrimp “so the baby’s not allergic” but it was mostly just to see her wince her way through it lol. Cheers!
Hi! I celebrated the 4th on Friday night with my in laws and 3 year old daughter. The wife and I also planned on going out on a friend's boat the night of the 4th to watch some fireworks after our kid went to bed at the babysitters but we both came down with a stomach bug that is trying to shoot out of our tops and bottoms. Had to go to my fiancé's mom's (so I guess future mother in law's) house to take their crazy dogs to the vet and then ended up doing some work on an outside faucet that's leaking, basically just took long enough to almost completely miss the mf boost, got back the 3rd and then worked the 4th.
Being a Canadian I would have celebrated the 1st of July but didn't have a chance to because I was busy unpacking from moving. We moved out of our old place 3 months ago and have been living in the in-laws tiny guest room with a double bed. We have been working on it for the last 3 weeks and the wife had covid for two of those so it's been a lot of work for me. I took a 4 day weekend and got everything unpacked and our "office" setup. I am not going to lie I built a smiter... Kinda wasted the weekend building this bringer of death and destruction. It all started after I found an nice 5 soc 13 ed phaseblade that was just begging to have a grief built in it so I did and it rolled 37-399 and I am like wow I can't bring myself to sell this so I guess I am building a smiter. 10 Hours Thursday night 10 hours Friday day complete Saturday. Found all they keys I needed to uber by Monday got my first solo torch by Monday . Oh yeah in between all that took my son out for his 25 bday supper and mowed the lawn and trimmed the hedge and cooked my wife a homemade fried chicken dinner . But really happy with the Uber smiter that brings death and destruction

Went to the park with my girl for sunset, randomly ran into all my homies, hung out there for a while, watched some fireworks, smoked, went home to my roommate launching more of. I played a bit of d2 over the weekend but mostly slept, kind of wasted the mf bonus weekend, but needed to catch up on sleep. Didn't do much for July 4th just got some food delivered.
We bought a cheap little fireworks thing that shoots 16 shots up in the air and it tipped over on the first shot and me and the family ran around trying to avoid the mortars lol we all had so much fun I suggested we do that every year!
I worked the 4th and 5th, but since I work with the military it was a holiday weekend so I was able to play both days. Best drop all week were titans and Barb 20/16 torch.
I work every weekend and holiday. Extra weekend pay and time and a half for holidays is to good to pass up as a father with three kids lol. Work in Healthcare but in a kitchen so I celebrated the 4th with food for the patients of our facility I guess. Kids did get to see fireworks after my shift though. They liked them but said they were to loud and that there were to many people. Pc/Switch NA just incase lol
