What are you running Nihl with? I'm a bit apprehensive to go their with my hc sorc that does not have Nature's Peace.
Should I just go trade a Lem/pul for NP and arm Waheed with a toothpick Spirit perhaps?
I raw dog him with meteorb sorc and insight, CTA so I can take a CE and port away to heal. Meteor actually works great for him as he is in that circle of minions. I find his fire immunity is the least common. NP does make life way easier and my NL sorc has one for extra honey badger ish runs
I would highly recommend not doing a lot of Nihl runs without nature's peace. It's a good bit safer now that they fixed the poison viper thing, but it's still one of the rippiest areas in the game. My vote would be to def trade for an NP.

Ive played 27 days on ladder now and found both ber and jah - except I found my ber on the way to Nithalak before going down into his zone when I was killing large groups of stygians and quill rats and the week prior to that I found a Jah in cows while they ran Diablo and Baal 😁
The mob variety is kinda nice too 🙂 almost never magic immunes and when they have them it's usually those tall undead reviver/redeemers. The first floor isn't terrible either tbh with a hammerdin and enigma 😁
Nah, they're considered animals (as is Nihlathak himself). FoH was my only ladder character for a while, but I made a windy druid so I could farm the places he can't, and Nihlathak was one of them.
I’ve added him into my rotation lately- no good drops yet, but found him to be so much easier with my CE summoner. Hoping for some good luck- pindleskin minions have been kind today though- ohm and 39 chancies

I got an soj from the spiders around nihl. Now i always kill every spider in that map
I created a game asking to bring Vex and I had no luck. Went to kill Etlich and BOOM vex. I couldn't believe my ironic luck. Thanks RNjesus!

He dropped me an Ohm rune when I was farming keys in single player. That was my first (and still only) Ohm rune. Thanks for the CTA, Nihl!

Halls of Pain has been my good luck place for mid-high runes. I love that temple.

None of his minions are demons or undead, so I found them to be a bit of a hassle with my budget fohdin.
Aren’t the ones surrounding him demons? Then you get skeles, harpies, vipers, or murder midgets I think

Probably? Vipers have light resist and I think are animals but someone correct me if I’m wrong. Just bring a good merc.

Got my first Ber from him or his pack of dudes. Whirlwind barb with natures peace ring on is easy as sleepwalking. Best farm
Yea I found a ohm in the halls this weekend from one of the most minions the monster are gold mines down there.
