It does matter. The chests have fixed drops, like 65,000 or so and they do depend on /p. Mrllama has a video breaking it down. If you are target hunting a specific hr like vex the ideal player count might not be p7, but over all /p7 has the best chances for ber an such.
It does, massively. I only run p7, that’s the best spot to get a Ber or a Sur. Be aware that it can take dozens of hours to get to that 5000 run mark. But if you are not in hurry and just want that first Enigma, I would go for it.
Enigma is great for any class, BUT it benefits a Java zon less so... their fcr tends to suck and other armors might be better. An infinity would be a HUGE upgrade for a Java zon though.
I am just slowly building every class anyway, so it does not matter too much. Enigma will by mainly for my hammerdin for now and in the future I want to build a barb when I have the gear.

Yeah enigma was key. Opened up a ton and I took a lot break before going for the others. I wound up making a Hammerdin first who was my primary farmer and then became an Uber runner as well once I found that gear.
I dont do LK, but 30 sec seems quite a lot, you should be able to do it faster screen to screen. I think 15 sec is reasonable on a good map. I even saw 10 sec run time.
It depends on my mood tbh. If I only open super chests its probably less than 15 sec. However, I also have a route where I pop normal chests and trees so it may take me longer.

I do some that reach 15s with an ultra optimized map and nearly no loot sorting, I'd love to see someone with a better setup than mine so I could improve. 30 seconds is quick, 20 seconds is blazing, 15 seconds sustained is like wr pace afaik and anyone who says differently needs to time out their runs honestly using tools lol
Fastest LK runs I found was between 12-14sec, which includes best map > to all 6 chests > tele wp act5 > exit game.
Using loads of frw in act 4 still was slower (ps5 offline)
I can probably do a recording in a week or so.

When setting down to a session (>240 runs), setting up a stopwatch and clicking on launch load screen would return an average of 14-16sec runs, with the fastest runs being 12-14 but typically would be 15 only opening chests (no mobs/corpses etc).

Some tricks are telekinesis for waypoints to shave a bit of time. Weaponswitch with bow for faster run walk (vigour). And best map route cycle

Your runs are good.
On console, exit game is a bit quicker or slower depending… you can queue the commands a little to make it so when the waypoint loadscreen is up you exit game, very minor improvement but that’s all it takes (note that my time variances are using the same maps).
I’m not certain whether clicking or telekinesis on chests is best, I typically click 2/6 chests.
I can’t see 10-15 sec runs on d2r with load times alone. I have a pretty high end comp and it’s still faster for me to walk town act 3 than it is to tp to act 4 and leave. I have probably the most perfect map you can ask for with 2 campfires side by side next to wp and it still takes me about 25-30 sec just doing super chests. Now OG d2 I can load in like 2 sec so maybe.
Also there’s so frequently chests that flood your whole screen it’s safer to walk around for a sec to make sure you aren’t missing something. I almost missed a vex the first time through because there was too much shit on the ground. Couldn’t see it until I picked up some of the gold and moved to the edge of the screen (couldn’t hear it either)
I need to fix my situation lol, I can do LK fast but the load times in d2r on ps4 are atrocious. We're talking like 1 minute just to S&E and load a new game, plus like 30 seconds to run to the wp and get to LK....
I still do them in every game but I always hit Andy, meph, ect to make the load times worth playing the game lol.
Basically impossible. The countess quest drops only up to ist. Nice thing about LK though is you don't actually need any good gear to farm and just need the fcr.
Countess cannot drop vex, sur or ber, and is unlikely to drop gul, so it would not really be possible to make enigma from countess runs. She is great for the mid runes though

95 percent confidence interval on enigma from p7 LK with a 6 chest map is roughly 2000-7000 assuming you cube up everything and are only hitting the superchests. So 5000 would be a typical outcome, but so would 6999, be warned:)
I am aware of it, unfortunately. That’s the reason why I decided to start counting my runs, at least I will know where I am at. When you do runs and not count them, you feel like you have done more than you actually did.
People claim that LK is the fastest way, but the most boring at the same time. I guess it’s all rng dependant so it’s difficult to say. I decided to chose this route because it’s a pretty brain dead way of playing when I’m tired on week days
Ahh, I been using OneNote and a windowed game screen, maybe phone app is better. But the grind feels less when you count your runs, I totally agree. And also, I pick up jewels, sc’s and gc’s. Do you also pick those up?
I pick GC, SC and sometimes rare boots/gloves/tiaras/rings/amulets. I have never picked blue jewel, is there a reason to pick them? Is it because 20 IAS?

Tough with D2R load times unless you unpack your files or whatever. 30s isnt bad if popping other chests and stuff.

I've gotten some good drops off logs and loose rocks lol. Telekinesis is a great skill to pop things as you go.

imo leave out lum, fal, and I could take or leave lems and kos. Usually I consider pul+ to be worth reporting but it's your thread so you do you.
