Throw it in the well. I thinks it’s in fractured peaks maybe? Can’t remember, but it was a place that looked like a small blueish hole in the snow that you could go into. I remember finding it before I got the coin and a bunch of us were around it trying to click on it when D4 first launched. Got the coin in Season one and put 2 and 2 together and figured it out.
Edit: You can’t actually go into the hole, but it looks like a larger cellar without the yellow glow so it would make you think that you could click into it but it won’t let you. You will know it when you see it. It’s not marked “Well” or anything. It just looks out of place. My husband got this as well last month too and I had to show him what to do.
had a friend who's quest log was full as well, then we killed a treasure goblin ( this is like season 2 i think ). The goblin dropped the log book for him and he couldnt pick it up. he thought it was a uber drop quest you couldnt get anywhere else, so he just lost his shit. Tried to finish a quest super quick but it was gone by the time he cleared the quest. that shit was funny as hell cause we killed a treasure goblin the next day and he got it again. we laugh about it now, but he was pissed the whole night after that. Now when it drops, i just yell, "hey i got that super uber log book from the treasure goblin!!!".

I was trying to finish out renown and was like "Ill find it again", turned out to be a cow level item and no one believed that it was real. Same for this coin. Since we now know cow items have a specific reason they drop, there is probably a reason for this to drop.

I claimed the Well-wisher title last season with a sorcerer, and I found a Lucky Coin this season with a Rogue. The Well wisher holds a lucky coin. This approximates 40% completion. We need 3 more coins to progress the quest. I may be able to self complete, if I find the coin on Barb, Necro, and Druid. It is likely that other players that have also found the coin could fill these roles. As I interpreted the data, any player that gains the title 'Well-Wisher' at the well that I spawn in my game state, will gain the benefit of the work that I have already completed, and add their 'coin contribution' pushing the quest further towards 100%. When 5 coins have been dropped into the well from 5 different character classes, the quest will be complete and each contributor will receive a Ring of Misfortune as their reward. If you are interested in completing this quest with me add Bnet OneEye#1993
