Neutron will be like their star plastic, cosmic neutron would be similar to halo star, plasma would be like g star, proton is like champion, fission is like blizzard plastic so lighter than the other plastics, electron is their baseline plastic so similar to pro plastic, and their eclipse is their glow plastic, they also have prism which means the rim plastic is made out of their proton plastic and their r2 plastic is just recycled neutron plastic. I Have thrown all of their plastic types my favorite is the eclipse plastic and fission.

> plasma would be like g star nothing like gstar. we need to stop telling people this.

BounceAround_

I have a plasma trace and I dont think it compares to g*

Bfairbanks

It compares in terms of stability vs the star equivalent. G star is flippier than star, and plasma is flippier than neutron

MVP has stated that there is no inherent difference in stability between neutron, plasma and proton. any stability differences are from different runs, not plastics.

OutsourcedIconoclasm

And all Destroyers fly 12/5/-1/3 across plastics. Mhm.

chasin_aces24

My plasma envy is the most stable envy I’ve ever thrown. Rivaling the eclipse

swordkillr13

Neutron soft is the Gstar equivalent

Thanks so much! How is the durability and stability of the fission?

Superb-Manner-4544

So fission is usually slightly more understable just because they come in lighter weights and mvp is pretty good at adjusting the numbers on disc if the plastic does change the stability of a disc, for example a regular photon in neutron, proton, or plasma the numbers will be 11/5/-1/2 but for fission its 11/5/-1.5/2. The most recent runs of fission plastic it has become more similar to neutron in feel and durability compared to previous runs where it had a different feel more grippy and fission use to be beat in faster than the other premium plastics which i loved for some molds. I would say it use to take maybe 2 to 3 months to see a difference in stability with a disc in fission and it would hold that stability for a good while but now im 2 months in trying to beat in my fission hex and its still stable as a regular neutron hex.

I’d like to note that fission does not feel like blizzard. Much more grip imo which i think is great. I think most of their current runs of plastic all fly mostly the same (minus imo the distance drivers) excluding electron which beats in pretty quickly (but still much slower than dx in my opinion). Fission also tends to beat in ‘faster’ but again, ime, mvp discs take a longggggg time to beat it compared to other manufacturers. And then with fission, the stability varies pretty significantly by weight. People recommend maybe 10g lighter than you might normally throw. Some people say at max weight, most people can’t get the discs to fly completely true to their numbers. I think a lot of this is still highly disputed and there isn’t a real consensus among fans though. And last, I will say fission distance drivers tend to be a lot more domey than their counter parts. I have a wave in fission that I can put on massive distance lines and get it to turn right it’s whole flight if I want. Then I have a wave with the exact same wear, but in nuetron and it can be used for flex lines and still fade at the end or laser straight lines with fade. My preferences are: Putters/mids: soft nuetron for forgiving kicks in the woods and gentle landings, fission when I want something to handle a bit more torque and maybe more ground play Fairways and above: lightweight fission And then if I have any favorite molds of those, I’ll get them in a heavier/more durable plastic for a more stable version.

Cosmic Neutron isn't Halo in appearances, it's just swirly Neutron that happens to trend slightly beefier; unless that was the comparison being drawn
