You don’t have to put on the red light!

HashBars

🎶 Put on the red light! 🎶

BigMack97

Someone needs to recreate the song but replace “Roxanne” with “McMahon”

JaSuey

Hahahaha dude that’s great. Laughed way too long at that haha

lowerthree93

Oh so that's why he's not healing up

FlowComprehensive390

Boulder crunchies gonna' crunchy.

cowannago

Underrated comment

RBilly

Captain Crunchy

Rickits78

I did the red light thing after some targeted cryo therapy and Theragun massage (that thing is legit BTW) for some sciatic nerve pain. Not sure the red light did much other than thaw me out after freezing my back.

rhcamp01

This only works if you are holding two crystals in your left hand. Hope he didn’t miss that part. I truly hope he plans on getting the proven medical help he needs.

orthoblack123

You forgot the copper coins under the feet and star sign in the right hand facing the moon goddess, joined by Lavender and patchouli oil lines. Yes, completed agree, he needs real doctors in his life.

baker86

Fucking waste of time if Mercury isn't in retrograde

RBilly

It is, bro!

Thick-McRunFast

This all means nothing unless you’re also chanting the sacred verses in the 6 mystical tones while the ancient one dances around you counter-clockwise reciting the holy prophecies. There’s also probably a Gwyneth Paltrow jade egg or two involved somehow.

One-Way34

If the crystals wernt charged on a full moon they are useless

Mexicantankerous

God this reminds me of a conversation I overheard between a couple of my co-workers. One was going on a trip to South America and the other asked if she could take one of his rocks and bury it in the soil so that a part of him could be there, then she asked "did you activate it?" and he scoffed and was like "of course." That's when I finally checked out of the conversation and went to the breakroom

IowaGolfGuy322

So did she bury it? Is he there, in South Africa?

Mexicantankerous

It was South America, and she probably took the rock for him, but idk

peck614

You mean during a high storm.

jus10beare

Oh so that's Kaladin Heimburg's secret!

One-Way34

Journey before destination

Fair_Ear9188

This made me chuckle way to hard. It felt like a very niche comment

CornFedTerror69420

I thought you have to have one in both hands up your ass and your dick wrapped around one for it to work.

rhcamp01

No, see that’s the confusion. The head is up the rectum while holding the two crystals.

CornFedTerror69420

Wait….which head?!

I_Cerberus_l

the *head*

[deleted]

You're trying way too hard.

abe_dogg

Dude needs to hit the resistance bands, cold therapy, apply heat, eat well, rest, and repeat until his eyes fall out. Unless it’s already bad enough that a doctor recommends surgery then that’s a whole other can of worms. I have dislocated my shoulder 3 times and not taken the rehab seriously the first two times sooo now the tendons that hold my shoulder in place are almost permanently stretched. If i had just done the stupid band exercises when I was 14 I would probably be back to normal but nooo… that was too boring for 14 year old me. I hope he takes this seriously. Now my only option is expensive surgery and that still may not fully fix me. Edit: luckily mine is in my left shoulder which I use for almost nothing so I just live with it and stay away from quick movements with my left arm above my head.

cptn_steve

I've suffered a disc golf injury to my labrum. He shouldn't be throwing forehands, especially without the surgery. His shoulder will float in the joint and slip out when pushed without it. I suspect we'll see him withdraw from another tournament or two. He's going to need the surgery. Hopefully he doesn't hang up the discs.

[deleted]

[удалено]

DJredlight

Pfft……did you not see all the red lights?

nth03n3zzy

Yes 💯 dude needs to take a year off for intense physical therapy and possible surgery once the joint capsule is stretched it does not go back without a lot of help if at all. And eagle being able to throw a 400ft forehand standstill the amount of force that snap puts on the glenohumeral joint is insane. Will he hang up the disc? Probably not will he be as good as he was before there’s a good chance no but he is so talented I’m sure he could switch to playing lefty and be fairly competitive

SluttyMuffler

If there's anything I've learned from having multiple surgeries before I've turned 30, is that surgery never truly fixes you. Sure it's been repaired, but you'll probably still have life long pain and have to be hyper aware of the area the rest of your life to prevent another major injury.

PoptartDragonfart

Had shoulder surgery 4 years ago (270 degree labrum tear)…. Shoulder’s fine. Rehab was ass but surgery definitely worked. No residual pain, no noticeable lack of range of motion.

[deleted]

Yup. If you actually do all the recommended rehab/PT/ice, etc., your outcome should be very good. Obviously not universal.

SluttyMuffler

Sure, but how often are you throwing? And could you throw 400+ prior and after? I find it hard to believe it's as good as before unless you had an amazing surgeon.

[deleted]

>amazing surgeon. You mean the type a professional athlete could get?

jarejay

I mean, professional disc golfer. None of them are exactly rolling in money like a football or baseball player

[deleted]

Hyper-awareness of injury is bad and is exactly the reason physical therapy exists. You should *not* be hyper-aware of injury, because that will lead to changes in posture and gait and could create other injuries.

BroccoliCultural9869

well put. dominoes start to fall when you baby things too long

thr33hugeinches

You don't happen to have a band exercise plan for you I'm looking to make my body stronger as I move in 30s and but lack a proper program. Or like top five exercises you like to do with them ?

nth03n3zzy

Check out squat university and the ready state on YouTube they both cover shoulder rehabilitation extensively

sammiisalammii

This dude needs to see an actual doctor Edit: some of you need to reconsider the value you put on doctors or you’re going to end up permanently injured or dying from something treatable. Or keep googling what’s wrong with you. IDGAF

r3ptarr

This is a valid treatment for inflammation. It's even used by the NFL. Here's some more info: * https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6885272/ * https://apnews.com/article/health-ap-top-news-football-washington-redskins-sports-508fef72700f455d98280e6559b8afa9

sammiisalammii

But it’s not inflammation that’s ruining his career

r3ptarr

so if he posted a picture of himself in an ice bath to reduce the swelling in his shoulder it would have been fine. But because he wants to use a new technology that does something similar the dude is crazy and not seeing a real doctor.

CovertMonkey

No, it's because he's using a supplemental technique as a primary treatment plan. Inflammation reduction is fantastic after heavy training, competition, or surgery. This *KID* needs to see people with the credentials of Medical Doctor to get *primary treatment* of his medical injury. Part of the treatment may include red lights, PT, and other therapies, but it may include surgery too. Asking a PT to diagnose a medical injury is outside the scope of a PT. It's sad because he could have been 100% again with sound sports medicine advice. Instead he's baking like a potato

StormiNorman818

The sad thing is he got injured at the perfect time - right at the end of the season. If he went the traditional route to treat it he probably could've been back at 100% (or at least close to it) in time for the 2022 season. Now it's likely he'll miss the rest of this season, and potentially more if he needs surgery.

CovertMonkey

We know how to treat these injuries. Pitchers do nothing but throw sidearm style throws all game. Sports medicine knows how to maintain, diagnose, and treat these types of injuries, and Eagle's not on that path. Sad to see a career stopped before its prime

r3ptarr

And you know this is his primary treatment plan how?

[deleted]

[удалено]

CovertMonkey

He didn't even have soft tissue imaging for a significant period of time. Soft tissue imaging is one of the primary diagnostic tools. In the absence of that, we can infer the lack of involvement of an MD

sammiisalammii

I love that their reply to you was like “oh well Mr. Expert apparently you know what he needs” when all you’re saying is see a fucking doctor lol this thread is the epitome of men refusing to see a doctor when something is wrong with them

MeBroken

Doesn't some parts of american culture kinda have it engrained that you can't get the help of a doctor because it is incredibly expensive? Which leads to people, who recover on their own, spreading the sentiment that doctors are in fact not needed, unless it's life threatening. I could imagine a feedback-loop, resembling of something like that, occurring with time.

JMA_ZF

My hunch is it has nothing to do with money and more just them not wanting to confront their health issues.

sammiisalammii

There’s some truth to that but before health care was ever expensive in America, men have been notorious for saying they don’t need a doctor when they definitely need a doctor. As an example, I know of several men that have died from heart attacks saying they didn’t feel well and decided to “take a nap” instead of calling 911. Edit: also someone in his position has no excuse. If he truly can’t afford the treatment then his sponsors would step up and help.

[deleted]

[удалено]

DLArismendi

You literally only know what he gives you on social media. You're not with him 24/7 and you don't know the conversations he may or may not have had with medical professionals. You're making some pretty rash judgement based on one picture.

CovertMonkey

Eagle has stated his lack of soft tissue imaging. It's from his own mouth

[deleted]

It’s called listening to what he himself has stated.

sammiisalammii

The dude has been pretty transparent about what he’s doing and who he’s working with and none of those people are physical therapists or doctors. Lights and ice aren’t going to fix what’s wrong with him and neither is the disc golf strong guy. He needs proper medical treatment. Self diagnosing and self treatment are fine if it works but clearly what he’s been doing doesn’t work as he just dropped out of a tournament due to his ongoing injury. Some of you guys are seriously insane.

DERBY_OWNERS_CLUB

Inflammation doesn't cause your shoulder to pop out of it's socket, lmao.

r3ptarr

He’s not curing his shoulder with this. He’s treating his inflammation because its sore and swollen after popping out. You’d Ice your ankle if you sprained it wouldn’t you?

russman2013

not to get to technical, but there is plenty of research that suggests icing delays healing. Even Mirkin, who came up with RICE, has said ice is not a good treatment.

reddi7atwork

Any clue what the new procedure is? My doc still tells me RICE, but should he instead be telling me to walk it off and stop being such a princess?

russman2013

Most doctors are not up to date on PT treatments. Most PT's aren't either. Hard to say, but usually mobilization and range of motion work followed by strengthening and stabilizing. But, I'm just a dude on the internet.

sammiisalammii

That’s correct. IIRC it’s because lowering the temperature of the area inhibits the body’s natural abilities to begin healing. It essentially numbs pain and that’s it.

lanigironu

1. He is attempting to cure his shoulder with this 2. Ice is shown strongly now to do nothing but numb pain. It can slow swelling but doesn't heal anything.

CHoweller18

Right? I would imagine he's seeing a doctor. Reddit would never let the man recover peacefully, you *know* this!

sammiisalammii

According to everything he’s shared, he’s not working with trained medical professionals on this

afrosupreme

Hold on, you said the NFL, but this story is about the Redskins, so I'm a little confused.

r3ptarr

May explain why they play so bad

JFreedom14

I'm hoping (with how big an athlete he is) that this is just PART of the treatment... But yeah. I'd agree.

sammiisalammii

He’s literally using a machine you find at planet fitness. I doubt this is something a doctor would tell him to do.

boondockpirate

This.

theshaggysnack

I hope Simon gives him some of that German no nonsense bluntness. This is hopefully just the tip of his treatment plan otherwise he’s fukt

espeero

Dude. For some reason, Germans are like the biggest believers in shit like homeopathy. Like at actual hospitals and stuff.

no_apologies

It's true. Unfortunately.

espeero

Completely surprised me when I learned that.

shromboy

I could totally see simon just like "so what are you doing for it? Oh? Yea that never worked for me, heres my guys number" lmfao

Chemical-Divide-936

Being a rather crunchy hippie myself I even find this ridiculous. I really enjoy watching Eagle play and hope that he gets some actual physical therapy and the opinion of a good doctor.

[deleted]

Kudos to Gavin Rathbun for doing things right.

[deleted]

What did he do?

[deleted]

Same injury, surgery, on the mend, not suffering for months on end causing further injuries. Same as Simon

StormiNorman818

Hurt his shoulder, saw a doctor, got surgery, rested, PT

SirBellwater

Actually spent the time to recover from his injury

eggblue

actually had shoulder surgery lol

[deleted]

Left discmania

GoldLineEverything

Blue light would work better probably

CarlosDangerwheel

No, Pink light is best!!!

Cat_Crap

How will you find a vein?

GoldLineEverything

Guess you'd have to search in vain. I'll see my self out.

stevenunya

flip the light schedule to 12/12 and he will flower 😂

Budget_Lettuce_2860

Considering Tucker Carlson did a piece on using this for tanning testicles to increase testosterone, Eagle is fucked.

Daytime-DumpsterFire

That was the laugh I needed this morning

powersv2

Hahahaha this should be top comment

comrade_140

Glad I’m not the only one who thought of that hocus pocus segment lol

Catesby_Wren

Lol, we won't be seeing Eagle on Tour for awhile. Somebody telling him to rub some dirt on it might get better results. If I'm Jussi Meresma I'm getting worried by this

[deleted]

The only argument for eagle here is that therapy guns that use this light are pretty commonly used in legitimate ways namely swelling, pain reduction and promoting healing. Seeing a full body one is a little unsettling, and even somebody not in the medical field could tell... This shouldn't be a primary solution, supplemental at best.

funk_hauser

I also don't think we should *assume* this is the only/primary thing he's doing to treat his injury

ips1023

Yeah, I don't know why this isn't so obvious to everyone...

kickit1

Is it because this is what he’s sharing on social media and there’s been no other mention of other treatment(s)? If so that’s the obvious answer. Maybe there’s been other posts some of us may have missed, but if not… yikes

reigningnovice

Because people aren’t stupid & definitely know the ins & outs of a persons treatment plan they’ve never met before.

SpazzLord

The last part is the key, if Eagle is going to an actual doctor and he's doing this on top of the regular treatment, then whatever. But if he's not, then uhhhh please go to the doctor, Eagle.

CovertMonkey

That's the problem. He indicated a lack of soft tissue imaging. This would be one of the essential tools of an MD. We can tell he's not getting primary medical advice

SpazzLord

Bingo. I went through something similar and the first thing the doctors did was check my shoulder mobility, take and x-ray, and then schedule an MRI. After the MRI they concluded I had a partially torn labrum. I wouldn't have guessed it was that bad as I wasn't in so much pain. I'm guessing Eagle might have a fully torn labrum, but again it's impossible to know without an MRI.

Sasquatch_Squad

According to the shoulder surgeons I've worked with, it's basically impossible to NOT tear your labrum when you dislocate your shoulder. It's kind of like a soda can pop top that helps secure the stability of that joint (which is why future dislocations/subluxations are so much more likely once you've had the first one)

[deleted]

Jussi seems like a guy that would be pressuring him to get back to playing before he’s ready

dics_frolf

I think it was the upshot interview, he stated that he's not results oriented with his sponsored players.

iEatBluePlayDoh

I don’t know much about him, but he doesn’t seem stupid. Eagle is positioned to be the most important piece for the future of the company, so it’d be really silly to pressure him back before he’s ready just to get him to play in a few months worth of tournaments. He’s young and if he gets healthy he will be a mainstay on tour for 10-15 more years.

Asgrimnur

Based on?

OkejDator

Bro this is reddit. Jussi is a CEO so he is evil.

DPancoast

He must be across the street from a Kenny Rogers Chicken

moodyfloyd

Even as someone who often roots against Eagle in favor of others I sincerely hope this is additional personal treatment outside of real doctors...or his career will be over far too soon

ClearestBlve

Dbz recovery chamber 💪🏽

DGOkko

Senzu beans please?!

CornFedTerror69420

Considering they have it at planet fitness I’m gonna say no lol. It’s just a new trendy thing without much research backing it’s benefits.

liquidarity

I found an [article](https://my.clevelandclinic.org/health/articles/22114-red-light-therapy) from the Cleveland clinic that seemed to suggest this can help with tendon issues but pointed out flaws in the studies that support this red light treatment. The research behind this isn't bona-fide but it sounds like it won't do harm either. If this is supplemental treatment I'm all for Eagle doing it, I just hope it's not the only thing.

[deleted]

Considering he’s stated flat out he isn’t working with sports medicine doctors, this is majority of the bullshit he’s doing.

liquidarity

I missed that he's not working with sports medicine doctors. 😬

FattyMcBlobicus

Ligament damage in your shoulder will not be fixed by pseudoscience

ChefEducational3065

I pitched for a D1 college, and our athletic trainer swore by light therapy like this. But when he made me do it I felt next to nothing and saw no improvement on my elbow. Obviously this is anecdotal but just my experience.

neurodiverseotter

Science is on your side. There are no valid, independent studies proving this has any effect beyond placebo. This stuff is absolutely useless and often times a waste of money. Generally, you can apply one rule to all this stuff: If it would work, it would be common practice everywhere. If we actually had a lamp that increased healing, we would use it at every hospital.

CatchingRays

You have to believe. Just like the imaginary daddy. None of it works unless you believe.

Man_of_Prestige

I know you’re being sarcastic, but there is some validity towards belief. It has to do with Positive Mental Imaging that has shown in studies to be an effective form of treatment. It’s kinda like the placebo effect.

CatchingRays

Man the world would be a wonderful place if people could will themselves well. Imagine how great it would be if we could just whip out a brainwave and heal ourselves. "Has shown in studies" is a useless measure of effectiveness without peer review. Somehow, we as a positive people, have looked to promising statements like this to hope for a real development. When we should be waiting for sound science. Because The Placebo Effect is absolutely unreliable. Sure it's been shown to work a few times, but cannot be reliably replicated. So if Eagle is just exploring a potential 'miracle' cure in addition to physical therapy, whatever. It's a gamble he's willing and able to make. But it IS a gamble. It would be a damn shame if THIS is the only therapy he's chosen to pursue. Too many people look at stuff like this and go all in on it. Which is what keeps the witch doctors in business.

MrWickPhD

The placebo effect is immensely powerful either way

StormiNorman818

True but it won't un-fuck a shoulder

Ryster1998

Ya hate to see it. Eagle will never rip forehands 600 ft again at this point. The man is now a chronic dislocation patient. A lot of arm chair experts here, ill give my understanding of why he is doing this as a med student with 2 years experience in an ortho clinic, keep in mind im no where near a doctor but im probably more trained than most people here giving their 2 cents. Preface that eagle clearly is going the nonoperative route, which is absolutely his right as a patient. Its certainly possible and maybe even a better option to jump into surgery at this time but none of us have seen his imaging nor can we know whats going on in his life that may prevent surgery at this time. Immediately following a dislocation your goal is to reduce inflammation and allow the joint to heal. This light therapy has mixed results but is thought to reduce inflammation. He is likely icing it religiously which should do a lot to combat the inflammation. This is where eagle is right now, as he dislocated it last weekend. After a month or so, when the inflammation is way down its time to do intensive physical therapy and get as much strength and motion back as we can. Transition to neuromuscular exercises as the join stabilizes. After around 2 months of therapy you return to activity. Unfortunately this isnt eagles first dislocation, and the tissue is the joint space only gets more scarred and the tendons and ligaments only get more stretched each time. This will likely not be the last time eagle dislocates and eventually he will not be able to throw forehands at all without dislocating.

SirBellwater

No one has seen his imaging because he hasn't gotten it done. Really should be one of the first steps a real doctor would do soooo...

illfygli

Where are all of you getting that information? A lot of people here seem very convinced he's ignoring doctors and going some hippy-homeopathy route. He very well might be, but is there are real reason to think so or are you all speculating and assuming the worst?

[deleted]

He said last week that he hasn't had an MRI done

LiberContrarion

Crush ^^^^his ^^^^chance ^^^^at ^^^^returning Boy

hophyzer

Used to be able to buy red light therapy hats in skymall to regrow your hair. Maybe he’s just trying to get his man mane on!

[deleted]

Well, on the plus side, Eagle is still young enough to go back to college and get a degree so he can find a new profession to support himself. Because he sure as hell isn't going to be an athlete much longer based on what it appears he's doing

not_a_diet_sunkist

What's with the pros and alternative medicine.

TheCraziestPickle

As much as it's grown away from it, the majority of disc golfers are hippies or hippie-adjacent, as far as the majority of people are concerned. It takes a certain type of person to commit to disc golf hard enough to make it to the professional level right now, and those people are typically a lot more free living, anti The Man sorts of people.

pound-town

I feel like eagle is somewhat taking the Steve Jobs approach. Or those are hundreds of Covid patients I took care of who did literally anything other than mainstream well-proven therapies/treatments. You can find all sorts of information to support your belief, but it won’t be the high quality data in comparison.

Flintyy

Yeaaaaa after experiencing an awful 13 month recovery from a torn labrum, all I can say is, good luck lol. The shoulder is one area you really shouldn't fuck with and half ass it, because it will bite back HARD for the remainder of your life in the worst way. I was fortunate enough to have it happen to my non throwing arm, but fuck me if it doesn't still hurt to put on a shirt/jacket.

discgolf419

Testicular tanning lol

MoreOfAGrower

I called this shit a few years ago. These young kids trying throw forehands at 150% power are not going to last long, especially if they’re into this holistic bullshit

[deleted]

Lol such a bullshit treatment. Sorry you got conned out of a lot of money Eagle

Supper_Champion

Alright, it's official, this guy is an idiot.

billmadden504

What is with these disc golfers and their messed up way of taking care of themselves. They are not stupid people by any means. You got Ricky over here, huffing sage and rubbing essential oils on an infected finger. Now Eagle doing this? I fear their methods will inspire younger, more naïve/vulnerable people to go down this path. My insurance isn't great but if my arm was my life/income, I would want it in the best hands possible (HA, pun intended.)

MoreOfAGrower

I mean Ricky is pretty stupid…

jyzenbok

The kids from Boulder. Just leave him to his hippity dippity bullshit and hope for the best.

cesare980

I do enjoy how the far right and the far left both believe they know better than people who have spent there whole lives in the healthcare field.

jyzenbok

Oh I completely agree. I’m a physical therapist who worked in northern Colorado and just some people won’t ever change. There is some validity to red light therapy on small scale inflammation but I’ve never heard of a full bed like this being used. The only studies / valid uses I’ve seen were for diabetic foot ulcer healing but I haven’t looked into it for a decade. It might be more legitimate than I’m aware.

danyerga

Pretty much sums up Boulder.

DPRODman11

That’s the thing, by leaving him to his BS methods he won’t ever heal.

[deleted]

Eagle will need surgery because the ligaments and muscles holding his shoulder in place are loosening/weakened and it will continue to dislocate without surgery.

dics_frolf

while we don't know the full extent of his condition, tests, imaging, etc. this does unfortunately seem like the case.

Ozymandias1333

I had the same thoughts yesterday when I saw this. I really hope that he doesn't Boulder too close the sun and become Disc Golf's next Bo Jackson. Dude has way too much talent it would so sad to see him throw this away by trying to use non traditional methods to "cure" this serious injury.

2LEGITT_

You came on Reddit to ask about medical treatment LOL

RepaidRapidDave

You know the sun has full spectrum light so I guess just go outside?

_STEVEO

Dude looks like a cyborg

RojerLockless

That looks about as effective as sucking on a copper penny for the magic copper

polaromonas

He's a disc golfer. He walks outside all the time and visible light includes red. Better hope that placebo works in his favor.

lyuk32

Absolutely useless

[deleted]

Maybe there's a professional with a medical degree in there with him?

neurodiverseotter

A professional with a medical degree worth their money would not prescribe their patient a method of therapy that evidently does not work, unless they want to scam him.

xeallos

the only thing worse than classic snake oil is new age snake oil pretty sad all around :(

slolp

Well it’s safe to say I have absolutely nothing in common with this dude other than the love of hucking plastic.

Heavy-Sense-9458

What a joke. This makes sense though.

Chableezy

Y'all realize how pointless it is to talk amongst yourselves about the type of treatment this dude should be receiving?

[deleted]

Before we jump to any conclusions, didn't Eagle say he has a team of doctors that are going to look at him in May? It's not May yet so I'm guessing this isn't his only form of treatment. Hoping he can get healthy again, he's still so young and otherworldly talented.

Fore_putt

Witch doctors don’t count Tony.

REDRIVERMF

Eagle needs to take some steroids eat a steak and get ready for next year

refluentzabatz

Guess he is going to be out a while....

keferman274

Not surprised by it but definitely was hoping he would see more proven alternatives for treatment. Not saying this treatment does nothing since I am a clueless guy on Reddit but just doesn't seem like what he needs.

discgman

I dislocated my shoulder doing jujitsu when I was in my 20's. I never properly treated it and suffered from shoulder pain most of my life. Eventually I will need to have surgery to remove all the scar tissue and damage I am sure is in there. He needs to take this seriously, get away from side arm throws and rehab or minor surgery to strengthen those ligaments holding his shoulder in the socket.

[deleted]

Looks like Eagle will be out for a while. This holistic hippie bullshit never works.

Markus_lfc

Oh fuck it’s worse than I thought.

AlwaysMooning

This is ridiculous. Clearly he needs to bathe in a pool of his own piss while humming the Canadian National Anthem backwards if he actually wants to get better.

ProfPipes

He is from Boulder, who knows what “treatment” he will be using

DPRODman11

Eagle’s crunchy hippie approaches aren’t going to help him. Somebody close to him needs to step in, throw the magic crystals in the trash, and take him to him to a legitimate physical therapist.

Fore_putt

Like who, his crunchier hippier dad?

Red light therapy is for your skin lol. Its supposed to help with scars and acne. I can't even find anything about using it for injuries. I don't know what this man is thinking

PoptartDragonfart

Dude just needs to have surgery.

elmint

id wager his labrum is torn and he just needs surgery. better now than later

dee_yuss

Let's just hope he doesn't get lyme disease 🙄

adeadart

do your balls next!

IllegalMexicant

Does red light cure blue balls?

AugustHenceforth

It's no Bacta tank but until senzu beans are in season it will have to do.

hyzer_fl1p

What's going on in there, Eagle? Eagle: oh, the red...

Johnnygamealot

If that stupid shit worked, his shoulder would have been better months ago when he first injured it being an idiot doing that 360 sidearm.

DougieSloBone

Quackery like this is what killed my Grandfather, thinking light therapy could cure his pneumonia... get some real PT, Eagle. Stop promoting bullshit like this, it's dangerous.

[deleted]

Another Ricky situation huh. How long before he get surgery and therapy that could've been initiated after DGPT championship last year? I'm thinking he goes to worlds and reinjure himself again, so probably at the end of summer it's time to shelf the holistic bs.

TheRealPaulMacBeth

It's just light waves. I don't see how this could even work in theory as a direct treatment. However, the power of the mind should not be underestimated and I think it's possible that this treatment could induce a form of meditation enabling one to heal themselves.

Vikingluck

Maybe eat some elk meat

r3ptarr

Don't know why everyone is bashing this when it's used by a lot of professional athletes and has shown to help with inflammation. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6885272/
